¡Qué tal, bonita comunidad de Holos&Lotus! Volviendo de a poquito a escribir en la comunidad, ya que ahora tengo un cronograma que quiero cumplir para estar al máximo con mis escritos.

Espero les guste el tema que elegí hoy, es sobre el cariño que puedes sentir por tus profesores, pero también esa sensación de congeniar con ellos.

Actualmente ando cursando un diplomado en blockchain en la UTN de Argentina y ya llevo casi seis meses estudiando y, con cada módulo, van cambiando los profes y temáticas.

Realmente tuve grandes profes con los que pude congeniar y creo que fue por su forma de ser, por sus valores y por sus conocimientos. Es un poco complicado de explicar, seguramente a ustedes también les pasó que, quizá en colegio o en la universidad, tenían a un profe favorito.

Bueno, puede ser por distintas razones, porque era alguien tranquilo, divertido, te gustaba cómo enseñaba o te daba puntos extras jeje. En fin, creo que siempre había alguna razón por la que sentías que estabas aprendiendo mucho de esa persona.

Yo viví eso en varias etapas de mi vida. En principio, creo que lo primero que me gustaba era su forma de enseñar: usando ejemplos claros, repitiendo los conceptos importantes y demostrando cuánto le interesaba esa materia y su trabajo como educador.

Es complicado encontrar ese tipo de personas porque, por otro lado, también hemos tenido profes que solo se limitan a dictar o leer las diapositivas y si tienes preguntas te mandan a consultar las diapositivas, libros y material adicional. Básicamente, hacen que la materia sea tan aburrida que solo la cursas por obligación.

Como les contaba, en este diplomado que curso, conocí a grandes profesores con los que logré congeniar e incluso trabajar. Sentí que realmente les gustaba lo que hacían, te dan consejos, se preocupan por sus alumnos y pueden ser grandes mentores.

Y creo que eso es lo que nosotros, como estudiantes, buscamos. Eso te hace querer aprender más del tema, por ejemplo, a mí me gusta mucho el tema de NFTs y se notaba que a la profe también le gustaba bastante esos temas.

Entonces, como yo sabía bastante del tema, logramos tener buenas conversaciones. Además, lograba captar la atención de todos, y eso suele ser complicado, pero sus clases eran tan dinámicas e interesantes que la hora se iba volando.

Como pueden ver hay tantas cosas que uno puede notar cuando un docente es realmente bueno y más aún cuando sientes que conectas con ellos. También pude conocer a otros emprendedores de web3 que nos contaban cómo fue su experiencia creando sus proyectos, claro que nos contaban tanto las partes buenas como las malas, pero al final nos motivaban a hacerlo.

Me gusta mucho aprender cosas nuevas, y más ahora que estoy metida en web3 y hallar a este tipo de personas en el camino es muy valioso. También ayudan mucho las comunidades porque puedes en ellas puedes encontrar personas de diferentes países, edades, áreas de trabajo y más.

Hoy quise compartirles esta pequeña reflexión y espero que, al leerlo, se acuerden de ese profesor que les hacía sentir todo eso y que, si tienen la oportunidad, puedan agradecerles por lo que hicieron. Nunca es tarde para eso.

Like When You Click with Your Teachers

Hey there, wonderful Holos&Lotus community! I’m slowly getting back into writing for the community, since I now have a schedule I want to stick to so I can give my writing my all.

I hope you like the topic I chose today—it’s about the affection you can feel for your teachers, but also that sense of really clicking with them.

I’m currently taking a certificate program in blockchain at UTN in Argentina, and I’ve been studying for almost six months now. With each module, the teachers and topics change.

I’ve really had some great teachers I clicked with, and I think it was because of their personalities, their values, and their knowledge. It’s a little hard to explain—I’m sure you’ve also had a favorite teacher, maybe in high school or college.

Well, it could be for different reasons—maybe they were laid-back, funny, you liked how they taught, or they gave you extra credit, haha. Anyway, I think there was always a reason why you felt like you were learning so much from that person.

I’ve experienced that at various stages of my life. First of all, I think what I liked most was their teaching style: using clear examples, repeating important concepts, and showing how interested they were in the subject and their work as an educator.

It’s hard to find that kind of person because, on the other hand, we’ve also had professors who just lecture or read from the slides, and if you have questions, they tell you to refer to the slides, books, and additional materials. Basically, they make the subject so boring that you only take the class because you have to.

As I was saying, in this certificate program I’m taking, I met some great professors with whom I got along well and even got to work. I felt like they genuinely loved what they did; they give you advice, care about their students, and can be great mentors.

And I think that’s what we, as students, are looking for. That makes you want to learn more about the subject—for example, I’m really into NFTs, and it was clear that the professor was also quite passionate about those topics.

So, since I already knew quite a bit about the subject, we were able to have great conversations. Plus, she managed to hold everyone’s attention—which is usually tough—but her classes were so dynamic and interesting that the hour just flew by.

As you can see, there are so many things you notice when a teacher is truly good—and even more so when you feel a connection with them. I also got to meet other Web3 entrepreneurs who shared their experiences creating their projects with us. Of course, they told us about both the good and the bad parts, but in the end, they motivated us to do it ourselves.

I really enjoy learning new things, especially now that I’m involved in Web3, and meeting these kinds of people along the way is incredibly valuable. Communities are also a huge help because you can find people from different countries, age groups, fields of work, and more.

Today I wanted to share this little reflection with you, and I hope that, as you read it, you’ll remember that teacher who made you feel all of that—and that, if you have the chance, you’ll thank them for what they did. It’s never too late for that.
