I’ve always thought that having plants makes the home environment more pleasant; in one way or another, it feels fresher, and they also help decorate the house in a more natural way—especially cacti or what they call the “happiness plant” or “fortune plant.” Whether they’re on the patio or even in a window, they look beautiful and give the place a different feel. At least in my house, both my mom and my dad really loved having lots of plants—it was practically a must for them. The porch was always full of plants, either on the floor or hanging, and they were all so green; the whole house had that vibe, haha.
Although after Mom got sick, that started to change—since she, who had always taken such good care of her plants, ended up destroying them, either by breaking them or trying to eat them—we had to remove them from the space, and although at first I helped by watering them, there came a point when, between one thing and another, I couldn’t keep up or kept forgetting, and well, their leaves started to scorch and they weren’t the same anymore, so the atmosphere started to feel different. We really need to bring them back—maybe not as many as you had, haha, because sometimes over time I might forget to take care of them, but I’d like to have a few that are in good condition and make the space feel cozy and prettier—because, in my opinion, they’re what make the area look that way.
Thank you very much for reading. I'd be happy to respond to any comments, and if you'd like to know more about me, here are my:
