Hello, dear friends at @holos.lotus—greetings and have a wonderful day. Today, I am here to participate in the Initiative from @emoliorios—it was a pleasure talking about it.

When it comes to choosing an object that reflects my personality, my life experiences, and what truly matters to me, I have to admit it wasn't easy at first—hehe. However, after some reflection, I found something that holds deep significance for me on many levels and has become a vital part of my life. That is why I have chosen to talk about books. When I speak of books, I mean a wide variety—from those on mathematics and history to storybooks. Since I was young, they have been a source of support, providing not only knowledge but also comfort whenever I was feeling down or needed to calm my troubled mind.

When I was a child, my parents tried to get me involved in music, dance, and other extracurricular activities; however, there were some I didn't like, others I felt awkward about, or I was simply too shy to fully commit to them. I reached a point where I felt I wasn't good at anything other than studying and getting good grades—that was my mindset—until, little by little, I discovered a different world through books. They allowed me not only to broaden my knowledge and learn a bit about everything but also to find a comforting distraction; naturally, they also helped me perform better in class, memorize information effectively, and learn details that weren't always covered during lessons.

I felt as though I were discovering different worlds through books—from a realm of numbers that didn't just stay in my notebooks but applied to everyday life, to history lessons showing that, despite the passage of time, certain patterns keep repeating as if no lessons were ever learned; from tales that filled me with dreams—like princes rescuing you on beautiful white steeds or villains you need to keep out of your life—to a wealth of information that brought me joy and a sense of comfort. I also felt a personal connection to the saying "don't judge a book by its cover," as I often felt that phrase described me—judged simply by my outward appearance rather than the substance within.

A book, a story, a journey of phrases, anecdotes, and lessons that leave their mark on you—aiming to teach you and make you feel better in the process, encouraging you to become someone different each day and to appreciate what surrounds you; for a book is not merely something that sits there—it invites you to put its teachings into practice, rather than letting them remain confined to the pages.
