Adventure day again! Looks like a wonderful day when I got around to taking it but the day didn’t start like this.
I had to hit the ground running for a meeting before we picked up the news we would be distributing again. This is what the sky looked like and almost promised that your travelling hero would get pissed on again this day.
As inconvenient as that would have been, not as bad a day as this fellow must have had. Imagine how heavy and head on a collision this would be in your work truck to end up like this?
Mater doesn’t have that risk as he is still tucked safely in his field, proudly waving his flags and greeting me every week.
Back to news day. 130+ stops along the way for me and @sequentialvibe as we connect the community with local stories.
Th sky actually lightened up a little and it almost promised to be a nice day.
So, I decided to take a detour to show you something behind the museum.
A neat permanent teepee is being built on the path behind the museum to act as a free gathering space and place to share the stories of aboriginal elders!
Back downtown, things are looking busy and summery still. Pretty nice to be.
From my perch atop the stairs of city hall, not as clear and blue as past weeks but still 100x better than the winter that is coming.
I couldn’t help but stop in after my 12k journey and reward myself with a pint of English pale ale on nitro. Almost like Kilkenny and a perfect sign off for a celebration of a long day and happy place within the vaulted top 200 @actifit users of all time!
