It was big step for me again as I fight tooth and nail for the continuance of summer. It doesn’t end til sept 21st officially and there are plenty of nice weather adventures to be had.
Here is one of them from my small Canadian town.
Looking beautiful still in the early morning as I rise to the shining. News to deliver today like all Thursdays.
Though the trees are barely showing any signs of fall, there are signs. Like the fields of crops with the corn tassling, and the soy starting to yellow as harvest season approaches.
Mater seems as content in his field as if it was the middle of July and he is enjoying mild September temperatures as much as I am.
Besides my normal street workout, I was asked to help out with some promo production in the sweatshop. It is mayoral/council election time and many of the lawn signs are printed here.
After all that work, it was time to bring the little guy to his happy place. Why the leash this time?
The wind destruction I reported last week hit the dog park too. Trees blown down in the back crushed fences and this guy would definitely take the opportunity to escape and go hunt on the other side of the fence.
How do I cap off a 14k day properly? How about some pizza, beer and trivia with friends at the local craft brewery?
