October is finally upon us and any who were holding off on the autumn decorations have taken the gloves off.
It has been mild and dry the last while but my big steps news day started out a little soggy.
No doubt I soaked up a little rain during my steps but the fall colours were starting to show along the way. My weekly posts might have some vibrant trees in the next couple editions.
The sky did lighten up a little but I am sure the plants and trees were happily soaking up the early autumn rain.
Out west on the highway, Mater seems to have found a room mate in his yard. Looks to be only temporary if they manage to sell the trailer.
Before I completed my route with a view from the stairs of city hall, I was needed to help with some production materials. Not sure if you know Loreena Mckennitt but she is a celebrated Canadian musician who lives in town. She is embarking on an eastern Canada anniversary tour and a friend’s promo company is making all the shirts and merchandise.
Just a quick shift to help out and it was time to get out to the trail in the dog park for the last of my steps.
Birdhouse tree is starting to show fall colours as well and will be bare before I know it.
I think when the skeletons start clawing their way from the ground, it is officially time for me to pass the summer torch to my southern friend @papilloncharity.
It has been a busy summer of adventure and I am about ready to slow down for some autumn before the long winter.
Thanks again for walking along with me again.
