Join me at the cottage!
It has been tough to find blockchain time during a season of adventure and, what I am told is “summer maxing”. Really just more excuses but I am setting aside a bit of relaxation time to bring you with me for a quick vacation.
The first thing I like to do when arriving here every summer, is to walk to the deck and take a picture of the lake. Blessed to be familiar with this perspective where the bay rolls right up the beach to the cottage.
It almost feels weird to mosey out to the chair on the shore to linger and just breathe. Nothing to do and no agenda to follow simply sit and enjoy the cool air flowing over you from across the lake.
The little guy seems to recognize this place too, having visited every one of his summers.
Apparently, he enjoys sleeping in my spot like he does at home.
Truth is I am doing a little work while away. Fresh coffee and this view with a deadline to stop working at noon is working out very well.
For now, a cool cottage beer and slow appreciation for a little time away.
