Hello people of the Hive, it's another Hive Power Up Day (HPUD) and guess what this is my second HPUD. In the beginning, when I had done my first HPUD I was very excited because it was very new for me. Moreover, I am finally taking part in something I had seen other people doing as well. So, now I am here again doing the same thing and honestly it feels good to continue something which I had promised.
Last time I powered up 10 HIVE. It was not a big amount but for me it was important because it was my first power up and I wanted to take that first step. I was not thinking about how much Hive Power I will have in future or how quickly I can grow. I just wanted to start from somewhere and I think sometimes starting is more important than thinking too much about the end result.
Now after some time, I am doing my second HPUD and again I decided to power up 10 HIVE. For some people 10 HIVE is a small amount and they are right, although I see it in a different way. I am sure everyone at first started with small amounts when they were new on Hive so yeah we do start from somewhere. For me, the important thing is that I kept my promise and continuing what I started instead of leaving it like that.
Why I wanted to power up again
Since coming back to Hive, I have been trying to stay active and write whenever I can. Sometimes I have many things in my mind and I can easily write a post, while sometimes I sit and think what should I even write about today. 😅 I think this happens with everyone. Not everyone feels motivated all the time.
To be active with something we do not always need something big to accomplish. We can just support even with small amounts and keep showing up again.
For me, HPUD is also something like that. It is not only about increasing my Hive Power. I also like the idea that by powering up I can slowly have more HP and support other people through curation. I really respect the people who are powering up more than me, for that, but I don't want to compare my amount with anyone else.
Doing my second HPUD

This time everything felt easier for me because I already knew what I have to do. At first, I went to my Hive wallet and selected the Power Up option, entered 10 HIVE. Then hivesigner appeared and I confirmed my transaction.

I am just excited for the new HiveBuzz HPUD badge for the month of September. Some people do not consider a badge anything but that's not my problem, hehe. I just love to collect badges, it's a part of my Hive journey. Like when I will be an old member of Hive then I can recall the moments by seeing those badges.
Small steps also matters
I powered up 10 HIVE during my first HPUD and now I have powered up another 10 HIVE. It may not be a huge achievement but at least I continued. There are many people on Hive, who never powered up. So, at least I am doing something. For me, that is what matters.
I don't know how much Hive Power I will have after one year or two years. Either way, I am happy that I participated in my second HPUD.
This is my second HPUD and hopefully it won't be my last one. I want to keep participating whenever I can and slowly build my Hive Power while also staying active in the community.
In the end, Happy HPUD again!
