Well, it's hard to believe that 2026 is almost over. It seems like only yesterday that I went back to school from my holiday break thinking that this year was going to last forever. Now somehow we have reached October. It reminds me of the song Girl in red - We fell in love in October, hehe.
About reflecting this year, I would say I can't really pinpoint one big thing that happened because there's nothing like that. But little moments happens like silly things and that now seem so precious to me it still makes me smile. Well, I'll always remember the time during school. Right before a big test my friends and I were supposed to be studying instead we lost focus and started doinf random things. There we spent almost the entire hour being unproductive and I think it was crazy. But guess what? we all still passed that test, hehe. I think I will cherish those memories I'll miss it the most.
Also there was another thing as I came home from school. I had such a rough day so I didn't even want to say anything about it. When I walked into the living room, I saw my younger cousin there, he was waiting for me so I would feed him with my hand. It was so cute and I couldn't resist it. Since, childhood he loved to eat foods from my hand so I couldn't help but laugh. So yeah, what may seem small to me or you, it may seem bigger for someone else.
I think we need to chill sometimes instead of staying serious all of the time. I would say 2026 also taught me that I'm not as strong as I thought I was. Things I've lost over the years that could be my favorite doll or pen I always thought I was really good at organizing myself but apparently not. My study habits have been very inconsistent throughout the year. There have been nights where I've sworn myself that, "I'll start studying from today" but I understand now that how necessary it is.
Before the year ends I just want to continue focus on living in the moment like doing activities such as finish watching superhero movies as much as I can because I don't wanna miss any of it. Also I want to do stupid things. As I get older I'll never have the opportunity to do that again. I want to make more memories, even it's a little one. I may not think of 2026 as the best year of my life but it's better than 2025. This year was an okay year not fully good or bad. I am okay with any good or bad situations because I have learnt to accept. And I would rather have a year full of little moments that I can fondly remember than try to pretend that it was perfect. So yeah, I am looking forward to see new changes in me for the betterment.
