Hi guys! Its @zoe01 here and I am going to go through my Modern ranked battle. I use my Death team. I only had 30 mana to play with. So I decided to only play with 3 monsters. I was unsure but I gave it a go.
Battle Rules
I had a mana cap of 30 for this battle. I did have the Standard Modifier so there were no special rules. No 2nd/3rd modifiers. I had all 6 elements available to use (Fire, Water, Earth, Life, Death and Dragon). As I only had 30 mana I had to be careful with what I played. Here is my team:
My Team
Summoner: Thagrimore
1st position: Nim Guard Captain (Melee Attacker)
2nd position: Sorrow Harvester (Magic Attacker)
3rd position: Vengeful Monk (Melee Attacker)
I played with Nim Guard Captain as it has high health (12) and armor (5) which would help take damage. I played with Sorrow Harvester as it is a magic attacker. I have also played with Vengeful Monk in some of my previous battles.
As I only had 3 cards I didn’t play with a full team. I hoped they would be enough. I knew my opponent may have more monsters but I wanted to see.
Battle
I was up against FARANDIL. He had played with 3 monsters. His first monsters had 5 health and 1 armor. His other two cards had 5 and 3 health. I was slightly happy I only had 3 cards as I thought he may have played with all 6.
We started the battle. My cards were attacking but my Nim Guard Captain was taking damage. He had high health so I wasn’t too worried. My other cards were attacking.
But I wasn’t getting an easy win. His cards were attacking my team and my cards were losing health. I hoped my Nim Guard Captain would last long enough for my other cards to attack.
By round 4 his cards were all still there but they weren’t very strong. His first card had 4 health left, his second card had 1 health. My Nim Guard Captain had only 1 health left. My Vengeful Monk had 4 health left so I was a bit worried I would lose Captain soon.
Some of my monsters started dying. By round 7 he only had 1 monster left with 1 health. I had already lost my Nim Guard Captain but my Sorrow Harvester and Vengeful Monk were still alive.
My Sorrow Harvester only had 1 health left so it was a tight game. I hoped my monsters would finish him off without losing any more health.
Lucky for me my monsters defeated his final monster! I won the battle in 7 rounds!
I gained 82 Glint and 40 rating points in Division 9. I was happy that I was able to win using only 3 monsters. I also got to 340 rating points. I didn’t expect to play for 7 rounds but my team won so that was a good thing hehe.
A good thing happened after my battle! I got a gift from iblast. I got a level 1 Arena Fanatic card and it's three of them. I didn’t expect to get a card so that was a nice surprise. Thank you for sending me one @iblast!
