- This second book in the *Edge Of Darkness* trilogy is a rollercoaster of emotions. The plot thickens and the stakes are higher than the first book. It's more than a simple story of obsessive attraction but about love in the midst of trauma and survival.
- Another Tom waits favorite. I love all his personas, the drunken pirate, the carnival leader, the drunken nobody, the used car salesman, and the man shouting at the sky in this song
