El día de hoy quiero venir hablarles sobre una película “adolecentes” la cual vi y me dejo una sensación rara en la boca y hablo de “Lady Bird”, una filmación realmente buena que nos retrata verdaderos problemas de los adolescentes entre otras cositas.
Hello dear Hiveblog community, I hope you are doing well. Today I want to talk to you about a "teen" movie which I saw and left me with a weird feeling in my mouth and I'm talking about "Lady Bird", a really good film that portrays real problems of teenagers among other little things.
Esta película la encontramos en Prime Video y no es tan larga la verdad, se puede disfrutar en un día cansón o una noche antes de dormir. Podemos encontrar a Saoirse Ronan “Lady Bird” Timothee Chalamet “Kyle Scheible”, Lucas Hedges “Danny O`Neill”, Laurie Metcalf “Marion McPherson”, Beanie Feldstein “Julie Steffans”, Tracy Letts “Larry McPherson”.La historia va de una chica, la cual se hace llamar “Lady Bird”. Va a su último año de preparatoria a un instituto privado católico donde se topa con puros riquillos mientras ella está ahí por una beca y es de estatuto clase media baja. Ella es en transcurso de ese año debe pasar por varios problemas “adolescentes” y otros un poco más serios como el que va hacer de su fututo o en que se puede apoyar económicamente para poder conseguir lo que quiere.
We found this movie on Prime Video and it is not so long really, you can enjoy it in a tired day or a night before going to sleep. We can find Saoirse Ronan "Lady Bird" Timothee Chalamet "Kyle Scheible", Lucas Hedges "Danny O`Neill", Laurie Metcalf "Marion McPherson", Beanie Feldstein "Julie Steffans", Tracy Letts "Larry McPherson".The story is about a girl, who calls herself "Lady Bird". She goes to her last year of high school to a private catholic high school where she runs into a bunch of rich people while she is there for a scholarship and is of lower middle class status. In the course of that year she has to go through several "teenage" problems and others a little more serious like what she is going to do with her future or what she can rely on financially to be able to get what she wants.
La verdad no esperaba nada de esta película, porque no la conocía, la verdad la actriz se me hacía ligeramente conocida pero es que la he visto en imágenes con frases de otras películas como “Desde Mi Cielo”. La historia en sí, desde un principio nos presenta a una muchacha que se nota que es problemática por decirlo así, ya que incluso se tira del auto cuando su madre la está reprendiendo, sinceramente si hubiera sido solo la actitud del personaje la dejo de ver porque me resulto bastante irritable la verdad. Algo que me llamo la atención es poder una película que hable del catolicismo en los estados unidos porque la mayoría de las cosas que he visto que han rosando el punto es de habla hispana o es de España, asi que fue interesante pero como dice una amiga “muy pocas personas salen religiosas en los colegios católicos”.
The truth is that I didn't expect anything from this movie, because I didn't know her, the truth is that the actress was slightly known to me but I have seen her in images with phrases from other movies like "Desde Mi Cielo". The story itself, from the beginning introduces us to a girl who is noticeably problematic so to speak, since she even throws herself out of the car when her mother is reprimanding her, honestly if it was just the attitude of the character I stop watching it because I found it quite irritating the truth. Something that caught my attention is to be able to see a movie that talks about Catholicism in the United States because most of the things I've seen that have touched the point is Spanish speaking or is from Spain, so it was interesting but as a friend says "very few people come out religious in Catholic schools".
Siento que el papel de Lady Bird es bastante complejo de cierta manera a pesar de en lo personal me sentí identificada en ciertos puntos creo que nos muestran a una chica carente de personalidad que se está descubriendo tanto, de personalidad, psicológicamente y sexualmente hablando. Nos presentan situaciones como las desilusiones, aparentar en un mundo que no encajas en nada, el descubriendo del sexo, drogas y alcohol y creo que en algún punto alguno de nosotros vivió alfo de esto en su juventud (me siento muy vieja jajaj). Pero a pesar de todo puedo decir que más me toco fue la situación familiar en la que vive, donde el dinero afectan sus sueños, donde se siente incomprendida por parte de su madre y por otro lado tenemos unos padres que le dan lo que pueden pero no alcanza.
I feel that the role of Lady Bird is quite complex in a certain way even though I personally felt identified at certain points I think we are shown a girl lacking personality who is discovering so much, personality-wise, psychologically and sexually speaking. We are presented with situations such as disillusionment, appearing in a world where you don't fit into anything, the discovery of sex, drugs and alcohol and I think at some point some of us lived some of this in our youth (I feel very old hahahah). But in spite of everything I can say that what touched me the most was the family situation in which she lives, where money affects her dreams, where she feels misunderstood by her mother and on the other hand we have parents who give her what they can but it's not enough.
Me sentí muy dividida en los conflictos que nos mostraban entre madre e hija, ya que entendía la parte económica y el sacrificio de Marion para que si hija tuviera lo medianamente posible y a su vez que quisiera buscarle un futuro que ellos pudieran “costear” pero otro lado entiendo a Lady Bird quien quiere conocer más cosas, superarse y a pesar de que estuvo mal lo que hizo creo que también hubiera hecho lo mismo, siento que la relación que tuvo con su padre me toco bastante por el hecho que me recordó la relación que tengo con el mío y su apoyo a que su hija cumpliera sus sueños.
I felt very divided in the conflicts that we were shown between mother and daughter, since I understood the economic part and Marion's sacrifice for her daughter to have what was moderately possible and at the same time she wanted to look for a future that they could "afford" but on the other hand I understand Lady Bird who wants to know more things, I feel that the relationship she had with her father touched me a lot because it reminded me of the relationship I have with my own father and his support for his daughter to fulfill her dreams.
Siento que tuvo problemas muy joviales, que se trataron de manera bastante normal como a su vez me hicieron ver que ambos lados están bien, muchas veces cuando somos jóvenes vemos a nuestros padres como malos de la historia cuando en realidad son personas que nos aman. O sea Lady Bird tiene de todo un poco porque hasta humor negro, me desconcertó cuando estaban comiendo las ostias como su fueran un dorito mas o cuando trataron el tema del aborto, anda en esta película es perfecto “por lo menos en historia” porque hasta su primera vez fue bastante incómodo.
I feel that it had very jovial problems, that were treated in a quite normal way and at the same time made me see that both sides are fine, many times when we are young we see our parents as the bad guys of the story when in reality they are people who love us. I mean Lady Bird has a little bit of everything because even black humor, I was disconcerted when they were eating the skittles as if they were just another Dorito or when they dealt with the abortion issue, and in this movie it is perfect "at least in history" because even the first time it was quite uncomfortable.
Digo que nada en la historia es contada es como las típicas películas de adolescentes, pero algo que si es perfecto es lo que nos muestran en cámara, siento que todo es un poco artístico. Un ejemplo de ello cuando le alumbran los ojos en el hospital por sobre dosis de alcohol ella se veía fatal, o cuando estaba afuera del negocio viendo una revista porno porque ya era mayor de edad, son cositas que para el ojo es agradable ver porque se ve, el empeño atrás de cámara para llevar una buena película. Le doy un 9/10 me identifique en querer soñar más de mis posibilidades, en las peleas, en las amistades he incluso en ser lo que no eres por encajar. Pero al final comprendí con esta película aceptémonos y si estamos en ese momento de nuestra vida que nuestra familia o padres no nos aceptan, deje que todo fluya en algún momento de la vida deben hacerlo ¿no?
I mean nothing in the story is told like the typical teen movies, but something that is perfect is what they show us on camera, I feel that everything is a bit artistic. An example of this is when they light up her eyes in the hospital because of an over dose of alcohol, she looked terrible, or when she was outside the store looking at a porn magazine because she was of age, these are little things that are nice to see for the eye because you can see the effort behind the camera to make a good movie. I give it a 9/10, I identified myself in wanting to dream more than my possibilities, in the fights, in the friendships and even in being what you are not to fit in. But in the end I understood with this movie let's accept ourselves and if we are in that moment of our life that our family or parents don't accept us, let everything flow at some point in life they must do it, right?
