Hoy quiero venir hablarles sobre una película con temática de Halloween, pero lo bueno de esta es que no da miedo la podemos ver en Netflix y se llama “La Maldición de Bridge Hollow”, tiene la actuaccion de Marlon Wayas asi que me pareció que sería bastante entretenido o graciosa.

Today I want to come to talk about a Halloween themed movie, but the good thing about this one is that it is not scary, we can see it on Netflix and it is called "The Curse of Bridge Hollow", it has the acting of Marlon Wayas so I thought it would be quite entertaining or funny.
Esta película cuenta con la actuación de Marlon Wayas como Howard, Priah Ferguson como Sidney, Kelly Rowland como Emily, Rob Riggle como Sully entre otros actores que ni me van ni me viene la verdad, el protagonismo lo tienen el papá y la hija. Esta va en cuando una familia se muda a un pueblo que es muy “seguro” y celebran el Hallowen con mucha devoción decorando de sobre manera sus casas, Howard es un tipo científico o sea que no cree en nada de esas cosas y lo creen fantasioso y su hija es n amante de las cosas sobrenaturales, por ello chocan en varias cosas. En la noche de Hallowen un espíritu intenta regresar del más allá, haciendo que las decoraciones cobren vida ¿Qué harán este papa e hija para salvar la navidad? perdón digo Hallowen, la película es +13 y es en realidad para toda la familia.

Hablemos primero de los personajes, tenemos a el cliché de conflicto de padre e hija que no se llevan bien normalmente vemos esto en películas de comedia y me pareció un recurso que le podían sacar un poquito más de potencial en termino de gracia, Howard me pareció un poco pesado con el hecho de ser científico, no sé si a los guionistas le pareció gracioso que él este recordando cada 5 minutos porque no era científicamente cierto tal cosa, a mí me resulto bastante pesado ese punto aunque admito que los mejores chistes o cosas graciosas que pasaba se las lleva él de sobra, por otro lado su hija…no lo sé al principio me dio como cringe el hecho de que se encuentre a tres desconocidos en el cementerio y se pongan hablar de los más casual de fantasmas, esa parte me dio pena ajena pero en si siento que es una niña que hizo bien su papel de hija, no más de ahí.
Let's talk first about the characters, we have the cliché conflict of father and daughter who don't get along, we usually see this in comedy movies and I thought it was a resource that could have a little more potential in terms of fun, Howard seemed to me a little heavy with the fact that he is a scientist, I don't know if the scriptwriters thought it was funny that he was remembering every 5 minutes why it wasn't scientifically true, I found that point quite heavy, although I admit that the best jokes or funny things that happened were more than enough for him, on the other hand his daughter... I don't know, at the beginning it gave me some cringe the fact that she meets three strangers in the cemetery and they start talking about the most casual of ghosts, that part made me feel sorry for her but I feel that she is a girl who played her daughter's role well, no more than that.
Yo diré la verdad me gusta este tipo de películas con temáticas de hallowen pero que no den miedo es como para no sentirme excluida en esta celebración porque odio las películas de terror jajajaj yo me quería ver “Abracadara 2” pero fueron tantas las reseñas que he visto que me spolie gracias ante mano, ok no. pero en si pues si me desanime he intente buscar otras opciones de disfrutes, encontré esta que por la actuación icónica de marlon wayas en “donde están las rubias” y otras película creía que sería de un disfrute bastante más agradable.
I will tell you the truth I like this kind of Halloween themed movies but not scary so I don't feel excluded in this celebration because I hate horror movies hahahahahah I wanted to see "Abracadara 2" but there were so many reviews that I have seen that I spolie thanks before hand, ok no. I was so discouraged that I tried to look for other options to enjoy, I found this one. But I did get discouraged and tried to look for other options to enjoy, I found this one that because of Marlon Wayas iconic performance in "Where are the blondes" and other movies I thought it would be much more enjoyable.
La película la verdad no es pretenciosa, solo es para pasar un rato e familia. Tienen escenas que si dan un poco de pena como las de las arañas, otras cosas como puntos intermedios es que me parecía un poco absurdo lo de la decoración pero si había decoraciones que daban miedo como el payaso gordito, es un filme que siento que pasa sin pena ni gloria en esta festividad y no creo que me interese ver una segunda parte, claro si me dan más chistes buenos y un Howard menos soso tal vez si, le doy un 5/10 porque tampoco es que le escupiría un ojo a la película, pero espero poder ver otra un poco mejor antes de que acaba el mes, muchas gracias por leer.
The movie is not really pretentious, it's just for family time. It has scenes that are a little embarrassing like the spider scenes, other things like in-between points is that I thought the decorations were a little absurd but there were scary decorations like the fat clown, it's a film that I feel that passes without shame or glory in this holiday and I don't think I'm interested in seeing a sequel, Of course if I get more good jokes and a less bland Howard maybe yes, I give it a 5/10 because it is not that I would spit an eye to the movie, but I hope to see another one a little better before the end of the month, thank you very much for reading.
