Me complace volver a esta comunidad para compartir la reseña de una película que vi recientemente y que me pareció muy, muy buena. Es del tipo de películas que me gusta disfrutar y hacía un tiempo que no veía una de esas.
Cuando una película no me atrapa desde los primeros minutos, lo más seguro es que me duerma, y así me quedo en silencio y me dejo caer en los brazos de Morfeo. Pero esta película logró mantenerme despierta y atenta a todo.
I am pleased to return to this community to share a review of a movie I saw recently that I thought was very, very good. It's the kind of movie I like to enjoy and it's been a while since I've seen one of those.

Descuida, yo te cuido fue una recomendación de una sobrina, cuando la busqué, estaba en el Top 10 de películas más populares en Venezuela. Así pues, me dispuse a verla con curiosidad.
Esta película es del año 2020, con un toque de comedia y mucho suspenso, protagonizada por Rosamund Pike, quien fue nominada a los Globos de Oro en la categoría de Mejor Actriz - Película de comedia o Musical, y resultó ganadora.Fuente
No vi nada de las otras actrices nominadas, pero me parece que Pike se lo mereció, su actuación es muy buena e impecable.
El director es J. Blakeson y en el elenco están, además Peter Dinklage, Eiza González, Dianne Wiest y Chris Messina.

I didn't see anything of the other nominated actresses, but it seems to me that Pike deserved it, her performance is very good and impeccable.

Now, in the film Rosamund Pike is Marla Grayson, an intelligent woman, with a strong personality and greedy. She lives by cheating along with some allies, among them a doctor who alters medical diagnoses of elderly patients and with economic solvency to convince the court that she is the perfect guardian for the elderly and then, in charge of them, she locks them in a nursing home, sells her properties and takes over the bank accounts she manages as she pleases.

Así, la Dra. Karen modifica el informe médico de la señora y lo entrega a Marla, quien en un juicio declara que Jennifer no puede cuidarse sola y obtiene, en consecuencia, su custodia. Marla la interna en un asilo de ancianos, pone su casa en venta y descubre en la caja de seguridad del banco que tenía escondidos unos diamantes que no aparecían en la lista de seguridad.
Thus, Dr. Karen modifies the lady's medical report and hands them over to Marla, who in a trial declares that Jennifer cannot take care of herself and consequently obtains custody of her. Marla places her in a nursing home, puts her house up for sale and discovers in the bank's safe deposit box that she had hidden diamonds that did not appear on the security list.

Marla takes the diamonds, and this is when the whole plot of the movie gets tangled up because these women don't know that Jennifer is the mother of a dangerous mobster, with a secret life and who is willing, whatever it takes, to get his mother back and everything that has been taken from him.
En esta parte comienza el suspenso, la acción y se pone en evidencia la naturaleza ambiciosa de Marla, quien se define como una leona, y del hijo mafioso de Jennifer, Roman Lunyov.
A partir del encuentro entre Marla y Roman comienza una lucha de poder entre ellos.
Aquí la película da un giro que no imaginamos y el final nos deja reflexionando, pero no haré spoiler y extiendo la invitación para que la vean y la disfruten.
This part begins the suspense, the action and highlights the ambitious nature of Marla, who defines herself as a lioness, and Jennifer's mafia son, Roman Lunyov.
From the meeting between Marla and Roman begins a power struggle between them.
Here the film takes a turn that we did not imagine and the ending leaves us pondering, but I will not make spoilers and extend the invitation to watch and enjoy it.
A mí me gustó mucho, como les decía arriba, me mantuvo pegada a la pantalla y es de esas películas que se pueden recomendar sin temor a quedar mal y de las que volvería a ver.
I liked it a lot, as I said above, it kept me glued to the screen and it is one of those movies that can be recommended without fear of being bad and one of those that I would watch again.
