Now that ETERNALS arrives via streaming, I have finally been able to watch it and I must say that I liked it, despite seeing it already somewhat prejudiced by all the negative reviews I heard, read and watch of it.

I understand the criticism, since this is a superhero movie that doesn't seem like superheroes, but like beings that have all the insecurities and conflicts of human beings, but who happen to have powers. And in fact the film revolves around his humanity and not his powers.

The movie, except for the pace, which I knew from the reviews was slow, was nothing that I would have expected, and it has enormous relevance to the set of stories in the Marvel universe, in a way it re-structures what already we know, and lays part of the foundations for its future.

The acting is good, and the construction of the characters too, they are all very varied in their appearance, personality and powers, which makes it almost a manual on how to make an inclusive group of characters. The production values are also good, although I in particular was not very convinced by the design of the "bad guys" in the film.

If you are someone who enjoys epic battles, you will not find them here. If you like characters with strong convictions like Captain America, neither, here we have characters struggling with their own humanity after centuries of life. If you want humor like Loki, Ant Man or Spiderman, either, this is a dramatic movie. If you are looking for sex symbols turned superheroes like Thor or Black Widow, you will find them, but there are also tall, short, skinny and fat ones alike.
Si eres alguien que disfruta de batallas épicas, aquí no las vas a encontrar. Si te gustan personajes con fuertes convicciones como el Capitán América, tampoco, aquí tenemos personajes luchado con su propia humanidad después de siglos de vida. Si quieres humor como el de Loki, Ant Man o Spiderman, tampoco, este es una película dramática. Si buscas sex simbols vueltos superhéroes como Thor o Black Widow, los vas a encontrar, pero también hay altos, bajos, flacos y gordos por igual.
But if you let go of preconceptions and enjoy the story, and let go of what it's supposed to be, and focus on what it is, it's a good movie worth spending your time on, and it's going to give a new perspective on the Marvel universe and what will be its fourth phase, which at least seems to me to be more interesting based on what is revealed and the seeds that are sown in this story.
Pero si te olvidas de preconcepciones y disfrutas la historia, y dejas de lado lo que se supone que debe de ser, y te centras en lo que es, es una buena película en la que vale la pena invertir tu tiempo, y que te va a dar una nueva perspectiva sobre el universo Marvel y lo que será su cuarta fase, que al menos a mi me parece será más interesante a partir de lo que se revela y las semillas que se siembran en esta historia.
In summary, it is a good movie, but one that goes beyond what we have been presented before as a superhero movie, and it is practically essential to be able to understand what is coming in the next generation of Marvel movies, but who better than you to make a value judgment on this ambitious and interesting proposal from Marvel.
En resumen es una buena película, pero una que se sale de lo que han presentado antes como una película de superhéroes, y es prácticamente indispensable para poder comprender lo que viene en la siguiente generación de películas de Marvel, pero quien mejor que tu para hacer un juicio de valor sobre esta ambiciosa e interesante propuesta de Marvel.
