One of the songs, which have become a classic for me through a movie, is none other than Melody Unchained, used as the main theme in the movie Ghost. Song interpreted by Todd Duncan in 1955, with music by Alex North and lyrics by Hy Zare. For the music of the film, the soundtrack of Ghost was in charge of the extraordinary musician and composer Maurice Jarre, in 1990, which was when this beautiful classic film was released.

In my opinion, one of the most important things that a film should have, is its music, because it is the seal of recognition for the public and more if it is a song that speaks for itself of the film, as it is Unchained Melody. As you watch a film you connect with its music, it has to be an effective, emotional link that connects you with what you are watching and this song undoubtedly fulfills its purpose.

The viewer creates a link of effective recognition, even emotional, with the film every time you hear the theme that represents it. I say this, because personally, this happens to me exactly when I hear this song, all at once comes to me the most shocking scenes of the film and it is almost impossible for me not to relate it. I imagine the same thing happens to many of us.

Apart from the fact that this melody was placed in the most exciting and emotional scenes of the film, marking without a doubt, a before and after, both for the film itself, as for the song, becoming both in a single success, in a classic, complementing each other in such a way that the two things, his music and the film, are synonymous for the viewer, of the same thing, his favorite movie or at least one of them, as it is in my case.
