πŸ¦ƒ Gossip Girl β€” S1E9: Blair Waldorf Must Pie! | Thanksgiving with Secrets

Review by @camy.macedo πŸ†#195 🎡8 πŸ“Ί8 Β· 4h Β· of Gossip Girl

Thanksgiving in the Upper East Side? Of course, it couldn't be a peaceful family dinner!

β€œBlair Waldorf Must Pie!” was a nice change of pace, and I really enjoyed how this episode focused more on family relationships rather than just romantic drama.

Dan inviting Serena and her family to Thanksgiving dinner seems like a sweet idea at first, but he clearly has no idea how complicated things are between their parents. Watching Rufus and Lily interact is becoming one of my favorite parts of the series. There's obviously so much history between them, and I love how their past keeps finding its way into the present.

But what surprised me most was Blair's storyline. Seeing her struggle with her family situation, especially during a holiday that's supposed to bring everyone together, made her feel much more human. Behind all her confidence and expensive clothes, she's still a teenager who wants her family to be happy.

I also appreciated the flashbacks. Seeing Serena, Blair and Nate before everything became so complicated reminded me how much their friendships have changed.

⭐ My Rating: 92/100

One of the most emotional episodes so far. It doesn't have the excitement of β€œVictor/Victrola,” but it gives the characters more depth, especially Blair and Serena.

I wasn't expecting a Thanksgiving episode to reveal so much about these families, but it definitely worked!
