I didn't know the background of the Sailor Moon mangaka, now I can understand some things about this story that I love since I was a child. It was very interesting to read your post 😊.

Sailor Moon was part of my childhood and adolescence, as a child I did not understand the plot, I only liked to see the transformations and the funny scenes, but when I saw it again when I was older and especially when I read the manga, I realized that it was not only comedy, it had a lot of complex issues that were not talked about in the years when it was released, it is a marvel 😍
When I was a little girl, more like a teenager I dreamed of being a Sailor senshi and fight against evil, I even made my transformation pin, I asked to buy two Sailor Moon albums and today as a mother I feel like a Neo Queen Serenity with her two moon princesses. And don't forget that Sailor Moon will punish them in the name of the moon.
I saw the remake and gave it a review, I couldn't stand it, it was too syrupy, I don't know if the old version is like that too.
I love how you've captured the essence of Sailor Moon. It's so much more than a magical girl anime. It's a story about friendship, love, and overcoming loneliness, something we can all relate to. I think it's great how you connect the author's life to the series, and how it resonates with you and your daughter. It's incredible how an anime can mean so much. Cheers, and thanks for bringing it to us.
