The story tells of a beautiful winged fairy, Maleficent, born and raised in the Moorland, an enchanted place where nature and all its inhabitants live in serenity and harmony. One day Stefano, a boy from the terrestrial world, enters the Moor, becoming a friend of Maleficent. The boy grows up and soon absorbs the typical greed of man that tears Maleficent's wings with a lie, proving to be ready to become king. Maleficent will take revenge by cursing the future daughter of the king, making her fall asleep at the age of her 16th birthday and awakening her again only with the kiss of true love
Very nice movie to watch in the company of even the youngest. Angelina Jolie in the role of Maleficent has really been a well-made choice, given her beauty and skill. The film is a reinterpretation of the Disney classic "Sleeping Beauty" with significant additional elements and with the difference that the kiss of true love is not always that of the much aspired Prince Charming, but it is the affection of the person who watches over our. Thus the myth of the prince charming falls, although in the film it is present but with a decidedly defiladed role, almost useless in my opinion. The film has a duration of about an hour and a half so not very demanding and the narration is very similar to a fairy tale, with the narrative voice that often intervenes to describe the mood of the characters. Greed is the element that creates disturbance and often ends up consuming the man himself, leading him to madness and to the choice of senseless decisions, useful only to his own obsession. Another theme that the film clearly highlights is the lack of respect for man for nature, seen only as an element that can increase industry and power, an absolutely contemporary theme today. I definitely recommend watching the sci-fi movie especially for the little ones because it teaches them to respect the environment around us, to be loyal to others, to remind us that we are not alone in the world and to be able to live in harmony, although we can be different in many respects, it is necessary to respect who we have next.

La storia narra di una bella fata alata, Malefica, nata e cresciuta nella Brughiera, un posto incantato in cui la natura e tutti i suoi abitanti fabieschi vivono in serenità ed armonia. Un giorno Stefano, un ragazzino del mondo terrestre, entra nella Brughiera, diventando amico di Malefica. Il ragazzino cresce e ben presto assorbe l'avidità tipica dell'uomo tale da strappare con la menzogna le ali di Malefica, dimostrando di essere pronto per diventare re. Malefica si vendicherà maledicendo la futura figlia del re, facendola addormentare al compimento del suo 16mo anno d'età e destandola nuovamente solo con il bacio del vero amore
Film molto piacevole da guardare in compagnia anche dei più piccoli. Angelina Jolie nel ruolo di Malefica è davvero stata una scelta ben fatta, considerato la sua bellezza e bravura. Il film è una rivisitazione del classico Disney "La bella addormentata nel bosco" con notevoli elementi aggiuntivi e con la differenza che il bacio del vero amore non è sempre quello del tanto aspirato principe azzurro, ma è l'affetto della persona che più veglia su di noi. Cade quindi il mito del principe azzurro, anche se nel film è presente ma con un ruolo decisamente defilato, quasi inutile a mio giudizio. Il film ha una durata di circa un'ora e mezza quindi non molto impegnativo e la narrazione è molto simile ad una fiaba, con la voce narrante che spesso interviene per descrivere lo stato d'animo dei personaggi. L'avidità è l'elemento che crea disturbo e che spesso finisce per consumare l'uomo stesso portandolo alla follia ed alla scelta di decisioni insensate, utili solo alla propria ossessione. Un altra tematica che il film sottolinea in modo evidente è il non rispetto dell'uomo per la natura, visto solo come elemento che può accrescere l'industria ed il potere, tematica assolutamente contemporanea ai nostri giorni. Consiglio sicuramente la visione del film di fantascienza soprattutto ai più piccoli perchè insegna loro ad avere rispetto dell'ambiente che ci circonda, ad essere leali con gli altri, a ricordarci che al mondo non siamo soli e per poter convivere in armonia, sebbene possiamo essere diversi per tanti aspetti, è necessario rispettare chi abbiamo accanto.
