Lately, TV series have managed to make a difference, making each episode much more exciting while offering a plot that’s different from what we’re used to—blending mystery, horror, action, and many other elements. That’s why Beneath the Surface is here—a series that, in each episode, takes us to a sparsely populated place and makes us wonder what’s really hidden in the depths. Since there are thousands of kilometers beneath the ocean where there are surely many things, every second counts here to uncover the truth and prevent the population from being completely destroyed.

Últimamente, las series han logrado marcar una diferencia y de esa manera poder conseguir que cada episodio sea mucho más emocionante y a la vez con una trama distinta a la que ya conocemos mezclan misterio, terror, acción y muchas otras cosas. Por eso llega Bajo la superficie, una serie que durante cada episodio nos lleva a un lugar muy poco poblado y a preguntarnos qué se esconde realmente en las profundidades, ya que debajo del océano existen miles de kilómetros que seguramente habrá muchas cosas, por eso aquí cada segundo cuenta para poder descubrir y que la población no quede totalmente destruida.

The story takes us to a small coastal community, where everything begins to change when a mysterious sea creature appears and turns the ocean into a threat—a truly desperate situation in which every decision counts and a solution must be found. As a result, each of the characters in the story bears a great responsibility, and many of them must face an unknown danger, as well as the personal and family conflicts that are part of their past. This causes the tension to build with each episode and leaves us wondering: Will they be able to discover what’s really out there?

One of the things that makes this series special and unique is its setting; the fact that it takes place in a remote town creates a sense of fear, with its lush landscapes and, above all, the vast ocean—where there’s surely a little bit of everything—which makes it terrifying, as it fosters the feeling that something could happen at any moment. Furthermore, it’s a series that also has a touch of horror, as it combines elements of science fiction, sea creatures, and survival, as well as a call to reflect on our relationship with nature and the consequences of tampering with what we don’t understand.

La historia nos lleva hasta una pequeña comunidad costera, donde todo comienza a cambiar cuando una misteriosa criatura marina aparece y convierte el océano en una amenaza, siendo algo totalmente desesperante, donde cada decisión cuenta y a la vez poder encontrar una solución. Logrando así que cada uno de los personajes que hacen vida en la misma, tengan una gran responsabilidad y muchos de ellos tienen que cargar y enfrentarse a un peligro desconocido, como también a los conflictos personales y familiares que forman parte de su pasado y eso hace que cada episodio la tensión crezca y nos lleva a preguntarnos ¿Podrán descubrir lo que realmente está allí?

Una de las cosas especiales y lograron que sea única es la ambientación, ya que al estar un pueblo lejano crea esa sensación de miedo, lleno de paisaje y sobre todo un extenso océano donde seguramente hay de todo un poco y eso hace que sea aterrador, ya que crea esa sensación de que algo puede pasar. Además, es una serie que también tiene algo de terror, puesto que combina elementos de ciencia ficción, criaturas marinas y supervivencia, como también un llamado sobre nuestra relación con la naturaleza y las consecuencias de alterar aquello que no comprendemos.

Esta serie de pocos episodios, es una propuesta interesante con una historia de criaturas desconocidas, los misterios que surgen en lugares aislados y el terror que juega con nuestros miedos a lo desconocido y eso crea tensión y a la vez entretenimiento. Sin embargo, lo peor es imaginar que, bajo la aparente tranquilidad del océano, existe algo esperando el momento de salir a la superficie.
