Hola amigos || Hello friends
Al fin, después de varios intentos por lograr ver esta nueva serie de Netflix lo he logrado. Y es que tuve algunos inconvenientes con mi cuenta Netflix y además, las horas que normalmente tomo para ver televisor es en las noches y estas últimas semanas estuve bastante agotado que al tocar la cama se me cerraban los ojos casi que inmediato. Tenía mucha curiosidad por ver esta nueva producción de la casa de streaming más popular del mundo. Y es que al leer su sinopsis me llamó mucho la atención y es que soy fanático de este tipo de series al igual que a las de suspenso o terror.
Finally, after several attempts to watch this new Netflix series, I have succeeded. I had some problems with my Netflix account and also, the hours I normally watch TV is at night and these last weeks I was so exhausted that when I touched the bed my eyes closed almost immediately. I was very curious to see this new production of the most popular streaming house in the world. And when I read its synopsis it caught my attention and I am a fan of this type of series as well as suspense or horror.
Esta nueva serie italiana es una historia de drama envuelta en una época donde las mujeres aún eran mal vistas por querer ejercer carreras universitarias. Esta nueva historia habla un poco la vida de la primera mujer que luchó contra las incrédulas creencias de la época. En medio de la historia encontramos a Lidia Poët la primera abogada de Italia a quien se le prohíbe ejercer la abogacía. Y así comienza la historia, mientras la abogada preparaba su apelación para revocar ese injusto veredicto, se une a su hermano para acompañarlo a trabajar como asistente para resolver algunos casos que tornaban bastante complicados.
This new Italian series is a drama story set in a time when women were still frowned upon for wanting to pursue university careers. This new story tells a little about the life of the first woman who fought against the unbelieving beliefs of the time. In the middle of the story we meet Lidia Poët the first female lawyer in Italy who is forbidden to practice law. And so the story begins, while the lawyer was preparing her appeal to revoke that unjust verdict, she joins her brother to accompany him to work as an assistant to solve some cases that became quite complicated.
Esta nueva miniserie cuenta con 6 capítulos y cada uno de ellos con una misma estructura, en las primeras escenas estaremos presenciando algún asesinato en el que por supuesto habrá un sospechoso, pero está de parte de Lidia Poët demostrar todo lo contrario. Lo interesante de cada capítulo es la manera en como captura a sus verdaderos criminales gracias a su gran astucia e inteligencia. Logré ver a Lidia Poët más allá que una abogada, una increíble detective y mujer que lucha contra viento y marea por sus propósitos.
This new miniseries has 6 chapters and each of them with the same structure, in the first scenes we will be witnessing a murder in which of course there will be a suspect, but it is on Lidia Poët's side to prove the opposite. What is interesting in each chapter is the way she captures her real criminals thanks to her great cunning and intelligence. I managed to see Lidia Poët beyond a lawyer, an incredible detective and woman who fights against all odds for her purposes.
Conozcamos algunos protagonistas || Let's meet the protagonists
Por supuesto que no pude dejar de admirar la gran actuación de la cantante y actriz Matilda De Angelis quien se ha convertido un grito en el buen sentido para los críticos. Su actuación estuvo a la altura de la verdadera Lidia Poët caracterizando muy bien la visceralidad reivindicativa que poseía el personaje real. Una joven independiente, liberar y por supuesto, desafiante. En mi perspectiva, pudo reflejar muy bien la lucha que tenía Lidia por ser aceptada por el mundo por como era y decidió ser. Una mujer capaz de romper cualquier estereotipo. No cabe duda que Lidia fue una rebelde con causa que luchaba por la dignidad femenina en un mundo gobernado por hombres. Mis aplausos para ella.
Of course I couldn't help but admire the great performance of singer and actress Matilda De Angelis who has become a scream in a good way for critics. Her performance was on par with the real Lidia Poët characterizing very well the vindictive viscerality that the real character possessed. An independent, liberated and of course, defiant young woman. In my perspective, she was able to reflect very well the struggle Lidia had to be accepted by the world for the way she was and decided to be. A woman capable of breaking any stereotype. There is no doubt that Lidia was a rebel with a cause who fought for female dignity in a world ruled by men. My applause for her.
En la otra esquina tenemos al hermano Enrico Poët interpretado por Pierluigi Pasino, un actor que no recuerdo haberlo visto antes, pero que me dio otra gran interpretación de un hermano protector, y confundido por las decisiones de su padre. Las mismas, en su mayoría en contra de su hermana Lidia, lo que lo lleva a tener ese personaje que nos presenta. Un hermano cuidadoso y temeroso por las decisiones que ahora tomará su hermana. Estos dos personajes quienes forman la dramática historia de Lidia Poët en mi parecer, ambos han realizado una gran actuación.
In the other corner we have brother Enrico Poët played by Pierluigi Pasino, an actor I don't remember having seen before, but who gave me another great performance of a protective brother, and confused by his father's decisions. The same, mostly against his sister Lidia, which leads him to have that character he presents to us. A careful and fearful brother because of the decisions that his sister will now make. These two characters who make up the dramatic story of Lidia Poët in my opinion, both have made a great performance.

Más allá del llamativo acabado de la producción, se destaca mucho la ambientación y por supuesto el vestuario. Lo único extraño de todo, fue escuchar canciones modernas en un ámbito bastante antiguo. Esta nueva producción se me pareció mucho al gran Sherlock Holmes. Lo digo sobre todo por la trama de los casos a investigar. Lidia posee unas grandes habilidades para resolverlos, entre ella su astucia y su curiosidad. Esta miniserie es de esas simples pero que tienen un poder para atrapar a todo el público. Y es que al final de cada capítulo nos dejará con ganas de presenciar muchas más aventuras y fue eso lo que me dejó atrapado en la Ley de Lidia Poët la abogada que defendió la dignidad femenina.
Beyond the striking finish of the production, the setting and of course the costumes stand out. The only strange thing about it all, was hearing modern songs in a rather ancient setting. This new production was very much like the great Sherlock Holmes. I say this mainly because of the plot of the cases to be investigated. Lidia has some great skills to solve them, among them her cunning and her curiosity. This miniseries is one of those simple but that have a power to catch all the public. And at the end of each chapter will leave us wanting to witness many more adventures and that is what left me trapped in the Law of Lidia Poët, the lawyer who defended female dignity.
