Tenía tiempo que no me sentaba a ver alguna nueva serie y en estos días culminé de ver todas las temporadas de Ragnarok. Una serie que por su nombre y su sinopsis se veía bastante prometedora, por ende, empecé a verla junto a pareja @lunacreciente. La primera temporada empezó bastante encantadora y a medida que iba avanzando, se iban aclarando algunos detalles que le deba un toque más interesante a la historia, la cual es bastante atrayente, ya que le agregan fuertes temas proambientales y a su vez, ofreciendo fuertes mensajes a favor del medioambiental, adicionándole el acoso escolar. Un tema que ya está bastante popular en el globo terrestre. La verdad, la primera temporada estuvo bastante entretenida. Y una gran final.
It had been a while since I sat down to watch a new series and these days I finished watching all the seasons of Ragnarok. A series that by its name and synopsis looked quite promising, therefore, I started watching it with my partner @lunacreciente. The first season started off quite charming and as it progressed, some details were clarified that gave a more interesting touch to the story, which is quite appealing, since they add strong pro-environmental themes and at the same time, offering strong messages in favor of the environment, adding bullying. A topic that is already quite popular around the globe. To be honest, the first season was quite entertaining. And a great ending.
Para la segunda temporada esperaba mucha más acción, entrenamiento de los dioses, tácticas. La Batalla de los Dioses estaba por empezar. Pero la batalla se alargaba y eso fue poniendo la seria algo lenta, sin sentido. Sin duda en esta segunda temporada las cosas fueron cambiando. Hubo mucho vacío, pero en ocasiones una que otra sorpresa que por lo menos, nos daba la curiosidad de saber que iba a ocurrir luego. Pero en sí, la historia se fue tornando algo infantil. Tanto así que no entendía lo que realmente ocurría con los Gigantes, pues sinceramente nunca mostraron ser una amenaza para la humanidad. Más allá que ellos eran los dueños de la industria más grande de Noriega y causantes de la contaminación del ambiente de su población.
For the second season I expected much more action, training of the gods, tactics. The Battle of the Gods was about to begin. But the battle was dragging on and that was making the series somewhat slow, meaningless. Undoubtedly in this second season things were changing. There was a lot of emptiness, but sometimes a surprise or two that at least gave us the curiosity to know what was going to happen next. But in itself, the story became somewhat childish. So much so that I didn't understand what was really going on with the Giants, because honestly they never showed to be a threat to humanity. Beyond the fact that they were the owners of the largest industry in Noriega and caused the pollution of the environment of its population.
Entonces, lo que me empezó a gustar, poco a poco me empezó a desencantar de la serie. En realidad todo empezó a estar fuera de contexto. Simples humanos que fueron escogidos por los dioses para ser dotados con sus dones. Dioses que poco a poco fueron apareciendo en la historia para empezar unir fuerzas para la batalla final. Lo que terminó siendo un acto de circo dado que ni ellos mismo entendían la responsabilidad que les había tocado. Los actores que forman parte de esta producción son muchos, pero mencionaré a los que para mí tuvieron mucho más ¨protagonismo¨ en la historia.
The series has everything, black humor, fun, with touches of drama and action, crime, mafia families, good performances and Stallone, like a fish in water. I think it has everything for this new generation. I liked all of Stallone's work, especially in the occasions where his lack of information about the technology was noticeable. Which was acceptable after spending 25 years in prison. What I mean is that his acting was neat. He hasn't lost his talent, even after the years he knows how to give that touch of emotion to his performances.
Empezaré con el principal de la Historia, Magne (Thor) Un joven noble, dispuesto ayudar a cualquiera. Su papel en la serie jugaba por ser el héroe, uno de los papeles más importante pero terminó siendo uno de los más tontos de la historia. Casi que podría confundirlo con Homero Simpson. Un total fracaso para el actor que no supo asumir su responsabilidad como el principal héroe de la historia. Debo de confesar que esperaba más de esta serie que tiene un gran nombre y una gran historia que de seguro pudieron explotar mucho más. Mantuvieron una dinámica bastante adolescente, con decisiones un poco absurdas y sin sentidos.
I'll start with the main character of the story, Magne (Thor) A young nobleman, willing to help anyone. His role in the series played for being the hero, one of the most important roles but ended up being one of the dumbest in the story. You could almost confuse him with Homer Simpson. A total failure for the actor who did not know how to assume his responsibility as the main hero of the story. I must confess that I expected more from this series that has a great name and a great story that surely could have been exploited much more. They kept a rather adolescent dynamic, with decisions that were a bit absurd and senseless.
Hubo un actor que mantuvo la serie y la historia mucho más entretenida. También juega un papel importante en la historia del Ragnarok. Esta producción definitivamente presentó un verdadero Loki que supo cómo mantener a la audiencia en la pantalla. En esta ocasión como un adolescente humano que no sabe quién es realmente. El Loki que conocemos es brillante gracias a la gran actuación de Tom Hiddleston. Pero el Loki que nos presenta Ragnarok es tan increíble como el que conocemos. Aquí tuvo la responsabilidad el joven actor Jonas Strand Gravli quien nos demostró un Loki adolescente tal como el que conocemos. Este sin duda fue uno de los personajes que más me gustó a mí a mi pareja. Sus reacciones y su personalidad fueron muy característica de un verdadero Loki. Laurits (Loki) tuvo una actuación fascinante. Me agradaron sus reacciones, gestos, su manera de ser era muy Loki. Experimentaba ser muy distinto a los demás y eso lo logró y demostró en toda la serie.
There was one actor who kept the series and the story much more entertaining. He also plays an important role in the Ragnarok storyline. This production definitely featured a real Loki who knew how to keep the audience on screen. This time as a human teenager who doesn't know who he really is. The Loki we know is brilliant thanks to Tom Hiddleston's great performance. But the Loki that Ragnarok presents us with is just as incredible as the one we know. Here it was the responsibility of young actor Jonas Strand Gravli who showed us a teenage Loki just like the one we know. This without a doubt was one of the characters that my partner and I liked the most. His reactions and personality were very characteristic of a real Loki. Laurits (Loki) had a fascinating performance. I liked his reactions, mannerisms, his way of being was very Loki. He experienced being very different from the others and he achieved and demonstrated that throughout the series.

Dejando a muchos en un ¿Qué paso aquí? El giro que tuvo la serie al final fue lo que a mí parecer la salva de ser un fracaso total. Este final sin duda cierra muy bien todas esas inconsistencias que ocurren en la historia que nos presenta esta extraña y curiosa serie.
Now, even though for me the series was certainly not the successful production and story that the title alone promises, it had an ending that I'm sure no one expected. Leaving many wondering what happened here? The twist that the series had at the end was what in my opinion saves it from being a total failure. This ending certainly closes very well all those inconsistencies that occur in the story presented by this strange and curious series.
