The Incredible Hulk feels very different from most of the MCU movies that came later. It's darker, more serious, and Bruce Banner spends most of the story running away rather than trying to become a superhero. I actually like that approach because Edward Norton's Bruce feels like a man genuinely afraid of what lives inside him.
El increíble Hulk se siente muy diferente a la mayoría de las películas del MCU que llegaron después. Es más oscura, más seria y Bruce Banner pasa buena parte de la historia huyendo en lugar de intentar convertirse en superhéroe. En realidad me gusta ese enfoque porque el Bruce de Edward Norton se siente como un hombre que realmente tiene miedo de lo que lleva dentro.
I also enjoy the relationship between Bruce and Betty. There is something sad about watching them reconnect while knowing that Bruce can lose control at any moment. It gives the movie an emotional side that sometimes gets forgotten between all the destruction.
También disfruto la relación entre Bruce y Betty. Hay algo triste en verlos reencontrarse sabiendo que Bruce puede perder el control en cualquier momento. Le da a la película un lado emocional que a veces queda olvidado entre tanta destrucción.
And then there's Abomination. The final fight is pure monster-versus-monster chaos, and honestly, sometimes that's exactly what I want from a Hulk movie. It isn't the deepest MCU film, but it's much more entertaining than I remembered.

I still prefer Iron Man from that same year, but The Incredible Hulk deserves more credit than it usually gets. It's strange to revisit this early version of the MCU and realize how different everything was at the beginning.
Sigo prefiriendo Iron Man de ese mismo año, pero creo que The Incredible Hulk merece más reconocimiento del que normalmente recibe. Es extraño regresar a esta primera versión del MCU y ver lo diferente que era todo al comienzo.
