X-Men: The Last Stand has always left me with mixed feelings. I really like the idea of a “cure” for mutation because it creates one of the most interesting moral conflicts of the trilogy. Xavier and Magneto once again represent two completely different ways of facing the same problem, and honestly, Magneto becomes even more interesting because of it.
X-Men: La batalla final siempre me ha dejado sentimientos encontrados. Me gusta mucho la idea de una “cura” para las mutaciones porque crea uno de los conflictos morales más interesantes de la trilogía. Xavier y Magneto vuelven a representar dos maneras completamente diferentes de enfrentar el mismo problema y, sinceramente, Magneto se vuelve todavía más interesante gracias a ello.
Then we have Jean Grey and the Phoenix. Famke Janssen gives the character an intimidating presence, and some of her scenes are genuinely powerful. My problem is that such an important storyline deserved much more time. Everything happens so quickly that the emotional impact isn't as strong as it could have been.

Wolverine once again carries much of the emotional side of the movie, especially during the final confrontation with Jean. I enjoy the spectacle of the last battle, but compared with X2, this movie feels rushed. There are deaths and major decisions that barely have enough time to sink in before we're already moving to the next scene.
Wolverine vuelve a cargar con buena parte del lado emocional de la película, especialmente durante la confrontación final con Jean. Disfruto el espectáculo de la batalla final, pero comparada con X-Men 2, esta película se siente apresurada. Hay muertes y decisiones enormes que apenas tienen tiempo de afectarnos antes de que ya estemos pasando a la siguiente escena.

There are moments I really enjoy, and the central ideas are excellent, but as the conclusion to the original trilogy I think it could have been much better. For me, X2 remains clearly superior.
Hay momentos que disfruto mucho y las ideas centrales son excelentes, pero como conclusión de la trilogía original creo que pudo haber sido mucho mejor. Para mí, X-Men 2 sigue siendo claramente superior.
