Season 2: A Good Girl's Guide to Murder: Still waiting for the final Pip vs Max fight.

  This was one of the shows that isn't a must-see for me, but it is good to watch with my wife. We watched season 1; it was good with some twists, and we knew that a season 2 would happen. The show "A Good Girl's Guide to Murder" is a Netflix production from the UK. And it is an adaptation of a book series by Holly Jackson. The show brings mystery-solving and suspense with the schoolgirl Pip's amazing brain investigating it all. The first season ended with the main villain, Max Hastings, not being the culprit behind the Death of Andie Bell, but he ended up in a trial for drug dealing and sexual abuse, which would show in Season 2.

  In Season 2, I thought that probably now Max Hastings would be the center of the show; it wasn't until we saw that one of the main witnesses, Jamie Reynolds, disappeared before his testimony. In the end was a side story, nothing related to Max Hastings. It was a cool case, with lots of twists, but in the end it gave us a feeling of postponing the inevitable, a final ending of the war of Max vs Pip for season 3.

  The main role of Pip is played by Emma Myers. If you watched Wednesday's series, she is Enid, Wednesday's sidekick in the adventures. So the actress looks like a good fit for a thriller show like "A Good Girl's Guide to Murder". She was also in the Minecraft movie, which I still haven't finished watching; I am not used to this type of movie anymore, sorry, Jack Black. Ravi Singh is Pip's friend that became later her lover, played by Zain Iqbal. Ravi is a sincere and perfect partner for Pip that brings some calm moments for the very active brain of Pip.

  Another point of watching Season 2 right now is that I forgot most of the other characters' roles in the first season, like her friend Cara, had to read a bit to remember that her dad was the one who murdered Andy Bell by accident and got arrested. And it is important information since season 2 brings some conflicts between Pip and Cara concerning the fact that Pip brought her father to justice. I was also trying to remember Connor's role in season 1, and probably he was just a friend helping Pip in some moments. He got a more active role in the second season.

  The show brings curiosity to see what happens in every new episode, and of course the last episode brings a cliffhanger to the next season, showing that the messages that threaten Pip continue even after the case was solved, bringing a bit of hype concerning Max vs Pip deal. If Max isn't the person behind all the threats and makes peace with Pip in season 3, it would be disappointing since the clash between both characters has been building a lot during the last two seasons. But still, this season disappoints a bit that Max didn't have anything related to the main event. So now we need to wait, and hopefully I don't forget too much about the character's background.

Foi um caso legal, com muitas reviravoltas, mas no fim nos deu a sensação de estar adiando o inevitável, um encerramento final da guerra entre Max vs Pip para a terceira temporada.

Então a atriz parece se encaixar bem em uma série de suspense como "A Good Girl's Guide to Murder". Ela também esteve no filme do Minecraft, que eu ainda não terminei de assistir; eu não estou mais acostumado com esse tipo de filme, desculpe, Jack Black. Ravi Singh é o amigo de Pip que mais tarde se torna seu namorado, interpretado por Zain Iqbal.   Outro ponto de assistir a segunda temporada agora é que eu esqueci a maior parte dos papéis dos outros personagens da primeira temporada, como sua amiga Cara. Tive que ler um pouco para lembrar que o pai dela foi quem matou Andie Bell acidentalmente e acabou preso. E essa é uma informação importante, já que a segunda temporada traz alguns conflitos entre Pip e Cara devido ao fato de Pip ter levado o pai dela à justiça. Eu também estava tentando lembrar o papel de Connor na primeira temporada, e provavelmente ele era apenas um amigo ajudando Pip em alguns momentos. Ele ganhou um papel mais ativo na segunda temporada.

  A série traz curiosidade para ver o que acontece em cada novo episódio, e claro que o último episódio traz um gancho para a próxima temporada, mostrando que as mensagens que ameaçam Pip continuam mesmo depois que o caso foi resolvido, trazendo um pouco de expectativa sobre o confronto entre Max vs Pip. Se Max não for a pessoa por trás de todas as ameaças e fizer as pazes com Pip na terceira temporada, seria decepcionante, já que o conflito entre os dois personagens vem sendo construído bastante durante as últimas duas temporadas. Mas ainda assim, esta temporada decepciona um pouco pelo fato de Max não ter tido nada relacionado ao evento principal. Então agora precisamos esperar, e espero não esquecer muita coisa sobre o passado dos personagens.
