Hello friends of @cinetv, nice to greet you and share with you again, this time, I will make my entry in this initiative, about western movies, when reading the topic I automatically remembered one of the western movies of the famous actor Mel Gibson, personally I like all his movies, he is a great actor, and well this one was not bad at all.
Hola amigos de @cinetv, gusto saludarlos y compartir con ustedes nuevamente, en esta oportunidad, hare mi entrada en esta iniciativa, sobre las películas del oeste, al leer el tema recordé automáticamente una de las películas del oeste del famoso actor Mel Gibson, en lo personal a mí me gusta todas sus películas, es un gran actor, y bueno esta no estuvo nada mal.
I'm talking about the famous movie "Maverick ", released in 1994, and as I said, starring Mel Gibson, also starring the famous actress Jodie Foster.

In this movie we can see how a man named Bret Maverick (Mel Gibson), an amateur poker player, who under trickery, tricks and deception seeks a way to get the money to participate in a famous poker tournament. In this journey he will meet the beautiful Anabelle Bradsford (Jodie Foster), another amateur gambler and cheater, and a Marshall played by James Garner.
En esta pelicula podemos ver como un hombre, llamado Bret Maverick (Mel Gibson), aficionado jugador de poquer, el cual bajo artimañas, trucos y engaños busca la manera de conseguir el dinero para poder participar en un famoso torneo de poquer. En este recorrido se topará con la bella Anabelle Bradsford (Jodie Foster), otra jugadora aficionada y tramposa, y un Marshall representado por James Garner.
This plot has a little bit of everything, humor, romance, and some action, fights between bandits, and Indians, from the beginning of this, it reflects the traps and deceptions that are made to each other, especially by Bret, the first time I saw it, I was very curious, especially for the final twist of this story, where it shows the real relationship that Bret had with the Marshall, and how the girl, Anabelle discovered them.
Esta trama tiene de todo un poco, humor,romance, y algo de acción, peleas entre bandidos, e indios, desde el comienzo de esta, se reflejan las trampas y engaños que se hacen unos a otros, sobre todo por parte de Bret, la primera vez que la vi, me dio gran curiosidad, sobre todo por el giro final de esta historia, donde nos muestra la verdadera relación que tenía Bret con el Marshall, y como la chica, Anabelle los descubrió.
A curious fact about this film, is that it is an adaptation of a television series which Mel Gibson enjoyed watching, I guess this was what made his role enjoyable, totally soaked with the character, with that humorous endowment, which is why he proposed to his friend the film director Richard Donner to make this project, where he did not hesitate for a second, and got to work on it.
Un dato curioso de esta película, es que es una adaptación de una serie de televisión la cual Mel Gibson disfrutaba ver, supongo que esto fue lo que hizo hacer ameno su papel, totalmente empapado con el personaje, con ese dote humorístico, es por ello que él le propuso a su amigo el director de cine Richard Donner para realizar este proyecto, donde el mismo no dudo ni un segundo, y se puso a trabajar en ello.

This movie has several epic scenes, but one of the ones I liked the most, was the end, when Bret is participating in this poker tournament, and he is one of the finalists; at the beginning of his journey Bret tells that when he was a child he practiced a trick in which he imagined a card, and when he turned it over it was the one he imagined, this trick made him apparently win the game, only that everything took an unexpected turn, when Marshall, the one in charge of taking care and protecting the money of the game, steals it in front of everyone, but the end of all this, as I said is the real relationship that this pair had, and it is that they were father and son, how about that.
Esta película tienes varias escenas épicas, pero una de las que más me gusto, fue el final, cuando Bret está participando en este torneo de poquer, y queda como uno de los finalistas; al principio de su recorrido Bret cuenta que cuando era un niño practicaba un truco en el que se imaginaba una carta, y al voltearla era la que él se imaginó, este truco lo hizo aparentemente ganar el juego, solo que todo dio un giro inesperado, cuando el Marshall, el encargado de cuidar y proteger el dinero del juego, se lo roba delante de todos, pero el final de todo esto, como lo dije es la verdadera relación que tenían este par, y es que eran padre e hijo, que tal.
It's a pretty entertaining sequel, I remember it used to be on TV, that's where I saw it, and it's one of the few western style movies that I can remember from those times when I used to watch movies on TV, and we didn't depend on the internet to watch a good movie.
Es una secuela bastante entretenida, recuerdo que antes la pasaban por televisión, allí fue donde la vi, y es una de las pocas películas al estilo western, que he podido recordar de aquellas épocas cuando antes veía películas por tv, y no dependíamos del internet para ver una buena película.
