Mis gustos son variados y en estos no podía faltar el romance, de ese dulce, amoroso, tierno e inocente, con estas características supongo que debes de haber pensando justo en “Kimi ni todoke” un anime y manga en estilo “shōjo”, dentro de los cuales ocupa son duda el primer puesto en mi top de este estilo.
My tastes are varied, and romance is a must. Sweet, loving, tender, and innocent—with these characteristics, I guess you must have thought of "Kimi ni Todoke," a shōjo-style anime and manga, which is undoubtedly at the top of my list in this genre.
La trama guarda nerviosismo en cada uno de sus capítulos, y en cada uno de los mismos vemos los avances de “Sawako Kuronuma” o más bien conocida como “Sadako”, apodada con ese nombre por su parecido con el personaje de la película “Ringu” o en su versión estadounidense llamada “The Ring” (El Aro). Sawako es una chica temerosa qué refleja un aura oscura y misteriosa, sin embargo por dentro es muy dulce y gentil.
The plot keeps you on edge in every chapter, and in each one we see the progress of Sawako Kuronuma, better known as Sadako, nicknamed after her resemblance to the character in the movie Ringu, or its American version called The Ring. Sawako is a fearful girl who exudes a dark and mysterious aura, yet inside she is very sweet and gentle.
En la otra vereda, con un aura repleta de luz y jovialidad encontramos a Shouta Kazehaya, un joven amable y carismático, amigo de todos los alumnos en su salón de clases y muy popular entre las chicas, su sonrisa contagiosa es la que llama la atención de Sawako tomándolo como su modelo a seguir.
On the other side of the aisle, with an aura full of light and cheerfulness, we find Shouta Kazehaya, a kind and charismatic young man, friend to all the students in his classroom and very popular with the girls. His contagious smile catches Sawako's attention, and she takes him as her role model.
Sawako siente una infinita admiración por Shota, de cierta manera, ella lo ve como su modelo a seguir. Sin embargo Shouta, siente un interés amoroso hacia la chica tímida. El ve mucho más allá de lo que los demás ven y se admira con cada gesto y sonrisa que está regala sin darse cuenta.
Sawako feels infinite admiration for Shota; in a way, she sees him as her role model. However, Shota feels romantic interest toward the shy girl. He sees much more than others do and admires every gesture and smile she gives him without realizing it.
Pero, hoy no hablaré del anime en si y haremos una comparación entre sus dos live actions.
However, today I will not discuss the anime itself, but rather compare its two live-action adaptations.
La primera es su live action titulada “llegaré a ti”, esta se estrenó en el año 2010. La segunda, titulada “Kimi ni todoke” llegando a ti “From me to you” fue estrenada en el año 2023.

Si bien es cierto, ambas tienen los mismos personajes, y no hay variación en ese sentido, siento que la versión de 2023 fue mucho más fiel al manga y anime en cuanto a trama y parecido con sus personajes.
While it is true that both have the same characters, and there is no variation in that sense, I feel that the 2023 version was much more faithful to the manga and anime in terms of plot and character likeness.
En ambas versiones hallamos a sus mismos personajes e interacciones, sin embargo en ambas entregas nos regala escenas no vistas en el anime. En la trama de 2023 estas escenas aclaran partes del anime, sin embargo en la entrega de 2010 hay escenas cambiadas lo cual deja pensando al espectador.
Both versions feature the same characters and interactions, but both installments offer scenes not seen in the anime. In the 2023 plot, these scenes clarify parts of the anime, but in the 2010 installment, there are changed scenes that leave the viewer wondering.
En lo personal, la primera que vi, fue la entrega de 2023, siento que sus personajes captaron la esencia de los mismos y eso es algo que se agradece, los diálogos eran muy parecidos y era como estar viendo el anime en carne y hueso, la versión de 2010 se modificó algunos diálogos haciéndolo ver de un modo distintos, a ratos podría pensarse qué estamos viendo algo totalmente distinto, pero luego retoma su cauce y volvemos a sentir que estando mirando “Kimi ni todoke”.
Personally, the first one I saw was the 2023 version. I feel that its characters captured the essence of the original, which is something to be grateful for. The dialogues were very similar, and it was like watching the anime come to life. The 2010 version modified some of the dialogues, making it seem different. At times, you might think you're watching something completely different, but then it gets back on track, and we feel like we're watching "Kimi ni Todoke" again.
El primer live action de la entrega, a mi ver, tenía escenas no vistas en en el anime, algunas me desconcertaron ya que la trama se tornana distinta, eso fue lo que me inclino a que no me gustara tanto como la versión de 2023.
The first live-action adaptation of the series, in my opinion, had scenes not seen in the anime, some of which confused me as the plot became different, which is why I didn't like it as much as the 2023 version.
Similitudes y diferencias/Similarities and differences
Sawako Kurunuma en ambas entregas guarda su toque de misterio e inocencia, pero a mi gusto, me quedo con la actriz “Mianami Sara”quien le dio vida en la versión de 2023, sus expresiones faciales y lenguaje corporal eran muy similares a Sawako en el anime. Por otro lado, la actriz “Tabe Mikako” quien la personificó en la versión 2010 parecía un tanto forzada, no quiere decir que sea mala, pero en esencia me quedo con la primera mencionada. En cuanto a parecido con el personaje de anime Mianami llegó muy cerca en cuanto al parecido, aún más que lo que logró Tabe.
Sawako Kurunuma retains her touch of mystery and innocence in both installments, but personally, I prefer the actress Mianami Sara, who brought her to life in the 2023 version. Her facial expressions and body language were very similar to Sawako in the anime. On the other hand, the actress "Tabe Mikako," who played her in the 2010 version, seemed a bit forced. That's not to say she's bad, but essentially, I prefer the first one mentioned. In terms of resemblance to the anime character, Mianami came very close, even more so than Tabe.
Ayane Yano en ambas versiones logró reflejar la esencia del personaje, en cuanto a su parecido diría a mi gusto “Kumada Rinka” versión 2023 fue mucho más similar a Ayane en carácter qué “Natsuna” versión 2010 sin embargo Natsuna tiene un parecido mayor a la versión anime y manga. Ambas dieron un trabajo excelente.
Ayane Yano managed to capture the essence of the character in both versions. In terms of resemblance, I would say that the 2023 version of "Kumada Rinka" was much more similar to Ayane in character than the 2010 version of "Natsuna," although Natsuna bears a greater resemblance to the anime and manga version. Both did an excellent job.
