This week's theme in 7th Art & More is "Dancers", and what better to bring to the vote a classic of the '80s: Dirty Dancing, the original version, clearly avoiding the remake they did a few years ago, here I tell you what it's about if you have not seen it.

El tema de esta semana en 7mo Arte & Más es “Bailarines”, y que mejor que traer a la votación un clásico de los ’80: Dirty Dancing, la versión original, evitando claramente el remake que hicieron hace unos años, aquí te cuento de qué se trata si no la has visto.
The movie follows Baby, a 17 year old girl who is vacationing at a resort with her family, in this place they have many activities for their guests, which the young girl runs away from. However, after meeting Penny, another young girl, and seeing her work dancing with one of the instructors: Johnny, she becomes interested in this art. One night, he discovers Penny injured after a miscarriage, so he turns to her father for help.

Uff it's a classic I watched with my mom, who is a fan of this movie, as is my aunt, I've seen it so many times, you would think I don't like it anymore, but I LOVE watching the final dance. Don't get me wrong, I love the movie, but the dance at the end is amazing, because there we really see how important the dance is to Baby, and the love between her and Johnny. All the problems are let go after one dance, and secrets that were problematic are uncovered at the end.
Uff es un clásico que vi con mi madre, quien es fanática de esta película, al igual que mi tía, la he visto tantas veces, que creerían que ya no me gusta, pero AMO ver el baile final. No me malentiendan, me encanta la película, pero el baile del final es increíble, porque allí vemos realmente lo importante del baile para Baby, y el amor entre ella y Johnny. Todos los problemas se dejan ir después de un baile y los secretos que eran problemáticos se descubren al final.
"Nobody leaves Baby in a corner," is there a better romantic line than that? Or isn't that elevation they do amazing? There's a reason they use all these references in movies like "Crazy Stupid Love" where Ryan Gosling gets to play "Johnny" in a scene alongside Emma Stone. It's a dance and romance movie that takes us back to a different era and one that we fall in love with over and over again.
“Nadie deja a Baby en una esquina”, ¿hay mejor frase romántica que esa? ¿O esa elevación que hacen no es asombrosa?
