El día por fin había llegado, ayer a las 3:45pm estaba sentado en la butaca del cine esperando a que empezara a rodar lo que para mi, hasta los momentos, es película top 3 de todo el universo Marvel. Hacer una selección en este vasto universo siempre es odioso y complicado porque primero hay MUCHAS películas y dos porque hay MUCHAS películas que son increíblemente buenas pero lo que si tengo claro son las dos primeras de esa lista: Avengers: Endgame y esta de la que vamos a hablar hoy, Spiderman: No way Home.

The day had finally arrived, yesterday at 3:45pm I was sitting in the cinema seat waiting for what for me, so far, is the top 3 movie of the entire Marvel universe. Making a selection in this vast universe is always hateful and complicated because first there are a LOT of movies and second because there are a LOT of movies that are incredibly good but what I do have clear are the first two on that list: Avengers: Endgame and this one we are going to talk about today, Spiderman: No way Home.

Endgame por todo lo que significó en su momento y ahora Spiderman que es todo lo que te esperas que sea y hasta más. El hype con el que llegas a verla no se puede describir y más si eres fanático y seguidor de Marvel, pero por que tanta emoción? - pues porque sabes todo lo que puede significar esta historia para el desarrollo y continuación del universo y de cada uno de sus personajes. Sin más, hablemos un poco de esta joya de película.

Donde comienza o mejor dicho continua esta historia? - pues justamente en el final de Spiderman: Far From Home; más en especifico nos ubicamos cuando Mysterio decide revelar la identidad de Peter Parker como nuestro héroe a todo el mundo en un acto de desesperación. Esta decisión lógicamente traerá grandes problemas a Peter y a todos sus allegados ya que el factor privacidad se rompería por completo.

Where does this story begins or rather continues? - Well, precisely at the end of Spiderman: Far From Home; more specifically we are located when Mysterio decides to reveal the identity of Peter Parker as our hero to everyone in an act of desperation. This decision will logically bring big problems to Peter and all those close to him, since the privacy factor will be completely broken.

Ante la avalancha de eventos que comienzan a suceder en la vida personal de Parker este va y pide un poco de ayuda al único que pudiera ayudarlo con semejante problema, Doctor Strange. La cosa es que a veces el remedio puede ser peor que la misma enfermedad y tras el "si" por parte del Hechicero más poderoso de Marvel en querer ayudar a nuestro Spiderman algo sale terriblemente mal y caemos en cuenta que el multiverso se convirtió en una amenaza real y muy peligrosa.

The thing is that sometimes the remedy can be worse than the disease itself and after the "yes" from Marvel's most powerful sorcerer in wanting to help our Spiderman something goes terribly wrong and we realize that the multiverse became a real and very dangerous threat.

Unas de las cosas que caracteriza mucho a esta película es sin duda el toque duro de nostalgia que nos trae. Ver a todos esos villanos que hicieron tanta historia en sus respectivas épocas creo que fue de lo mejor del film, El Duende verde, el Doctor Octopus, Electro, son algunos de los personajes que verán acá. Y aclaro que en esta información no hay ningún spoiler ya que todo esto sale en el tráiler el cual les mostraré más adelante.

One of the things that characterizes this film is undoubtedly the hard touch of nostalgia that brings us. Seeing all those villains that made so much history in their respective eras I think it was the best of the film, The Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Electro, are some of the characters you will see here. Cada uno con sus mismas esencias, sus mismos índices maldad y sus mismas personalidades hicieron de esta historia increíble. Y es que además el aspecto de cada uno de ellos lo mejoraron notoriamente, estamos viendo unas versiones muchos más top de los que son estos villanos. Obviamente los años no pasan en vano pero para felicidad nuestra eso no se nota en lo más mínimo en las escenas.

Each one with the same essences, the same evil indexes and the same personalities made this story incredible. And the aspect of each one of them was improved notoriously, we are seeing much more top versions of these villains. Obviously the years do not pass in vain but to our happiness this is not noticeable in the least in the scenes.

A nivel de efectos especiales ya sabemos lo que Marvel es capaz de hacer y esta película no es la excepción a todo lo que hemos visto. Pasajes y escenas que estoy seguro los dejarán con la boca abierta porque cuando mezclamos la acción con el Doctor Strange, por ejemplo, las posibilidades son infinitas. Llegamos al punto de quedar embelesados y esto pasa por lo que les dije ahorita y por toda la historia en si.

In terms of special effects we already know what Marvel is capable of doing and this movie is no exception to everything we have seen. Passages and scenes that I'm sure will leave you with your mouths open because when we mix action with Doctor Strange, for example, the possibilities are endless. We get to the point of being enthralled and this happens because of what I told you just now and because of the whole story itself.

De las cosas que más me sorprendieron fue la gran carga emocional que experimentamos. Cuando las personas decían que llorabas, te reías y te quedabas en shock realmente no mentían. La montaña rusa de sentimientos que se vive con esta secuela de Spiderman es suprema y eso es algo que siempre será un plus, de acción solo no se vive. Si les digo que salí agotado mentalmente, siempre en el mejor de los sentidos, créanme porque en mi caso fue así.

One of the things that surprised me the most was the great emotional charge we experienced. When people said that you cried, laughed and were in shock they were not really lying. The roller coaster of feelings that you experience with this Spiderman sequel is supreme and that is something that will always be a plus, action alone is not enough. If I tell you that I left mentally exhausted, always in the best of senses, believe me because in my case it was like that.

Tom Holland es un muy buen Spiderman, no es mi favorito tengo que decir, pero es muy bueno. A veces pensamos que para ser un superhéroe no se necesitarían grandes dotes de actor, no condición física, sino realmente saber actuar y creo que Holland actúa de una manera increíble, ya lo tenía claro pero esta fue de las otras cosas que esta película me confirmó.

Tom Holland is a very good Spiderman, he is not my favorite I have to say, but he is very good. Sometimes we think that to be a superhero you don't need great acting skills, not physical condition, but really to know how to act and I think Holland acts in an incredible way, I already had it clear but this was one of the other things that this movie confirmed for me.

Y la MJ de esta secuela protagonizada por Zendaya en lo personal me gustó. Entiendo las opiniones de las personas de que ella puede ser un poco inexpresiva pero la verdad es que me parece que a su manera es una muy buena actriz, por algo ya es ganadora de un Emmy. Creo que es un buen complemento para Holland ya que los dos son jóvenes y la química que existe entre ellos es algo muy evidente y que mejora mucho la trama y la historia en general.

And I personally liked the MJ in this sequel starring Zendaya. I understand people's opinions that she can be a bit inexpressive but the truth is that I think that in her own way she is a very good actress, she is already an Emmy winner for a reason. I think she is a good complement for Holland since they are both young and the chemistry between them is something very evident and that enhances the plot and the story in general.

En fin, una película BRUTAL de la que quisiera poder decir muchas cosas pero que por razones obvias no se puede. Una historia llena de drama, de acción, de nostalgia, de muchos sentimientos que estoy seguro todos los que no la han visto van a disfrutar al máximo. Sin miedo a decirlo creo que es de las mejores películas de Marvel jamás hechas, son palabras mayores estas, pero creo que Spiderman: No Way Home marcará un antes y un después en el Universo Marvel, de eso no tengo dudas.

In short, a BRUTAL movie of which I would like to say many things but for obvious reasons I can't. A story full of drama, action, nostalgia, and many feelings that I'm sure everyone who hasn't seen it will enjoy to the fullest. Without fear of saying it, I think it is one of the best Marvel movies ever made, these are big words, but I think Spiderman: No Way Home will mark a before and after in the Marvel Universe, of that I have no doubt.

9.5/10 es la clasificación que le doy porque lo tiene TODO. Si eres un fanático de Marvel serán las dos horas y medias que más vas a disfrutar en bastante tiempo. Ahora, hace falta estar al día con ciertas cosas? - me temo que si amigos. Por lo menos vean todas las películas de Spiderman que hay, no es algo limitante pero si sería lo mejor. Vayan al cine y disfrútenla porque estas experiencias realmente valen la pena vivirlas en la gran pantalla. Les dejo el tráiler como de costumbre.

9.5/10 is the rating I give it because it has EVERYTHING. If you're a Marvel fan it will be the most enjoyable two and a half hours you're going to enjoy in quite some time. Now, is it necessary to be up to date with certain things? - I'm afraid so folks. At least see all the Spider-Man movies out there, it's not limiting but it would be the best thing to do.
