It is a Netflix movie, something that can play against, but in the midst of so much mediocre production that has that platform, there are some that can be rescued . thank goodness that in this case the film is remarkable, but keep in mind that it is a very Swedish film. Some of the situations we see in the story are very typical of that culture.

Lo último que había visto de Fares Fares como actor fue El partisano, una excelente miniserie que reseñé hace un tiempo. Además de algunas películas de la saga del expediente Q. Su filmografía es extensa y recomiendo que la busques y disfrutes de muchas producciones donde el actor presta su talento al desarrollo de la historia.

En esta ocasión, además de interpretar a uno de los personajes principales, se ha puesto en la silla de director, demostrando que no sólo tiene talento interpretativo, sino que también tiene mano firme para destacar como director y ha elegido un thriller potente e intimista, para decirnos que debemos tenerle en cuenta detrás de las cámaras.

Me topé con la película por casualidad, ando lago despistado con los nuevos estrenos. Es una película de Netflix, algo que puede jugar en contra, pero en medio de tanta producción mediocre que tiene esa plataforma, hay algunas que se pueden rescatar . menos mal que en este caso la película es notable, pero hay que tener en cuenta que es una película muy sueca. Algunas de las situaciones que vemos en la historia son muy propias de esa cultura.

Respecting the codes of the Thriller, the tension is maintained all the time, but there is also space for the intimate drama of the characters. The film focuses on them, emphasizing their motivations, feelings and behavior. If they were doing this in Hollywood, they would be inclined to give us a spectacle of action, explosions, gunfights, and so on. But no, this is a film that dwells on the details of the characters, something I personally like a lot.

It highlights the balance between the classic thriller in which the plot starts with a hostage situation and we are kept in expectation of what is going to happen, the way the police act in this type of cases and how the negotiations with the criminal get more and more heated. It is not a film that will go down in history, but for a good time in extreme tension, it is ideal.

El ser humano cegado por la ira puede cometer cualquier locura, al verse inmerso en la espiral de violencia y locura provocada, no hay vuelta atrás, hay que seguir adelante, improvisando en el camino y llegar hasta el final, aunque éste sea desagradable y triste para una de las partes implicadas.

Una situación con rehenes. Tres personajes, cada uno con sus propias motivaciones, iniciarán un viaje en el que cada uno expiará sus demonios y buscará la redención. Lukas, un policía vigilante, dispuesto a llevarlo todo a un final feliz. Artan, un hombre desesperado que ama a su hija, pero su vida se ha desmoronado. Louise, la esposa de Artan, cansada de los errores de su marido, ha tomado algunas decisiones precipitadas. ¿Será capaz de perdonarse a sí misma? ¿Existe una salida? ¿O la tragedia es inevitable?

Respetando los códigos del Thriller, la tensión se mantiene todo el tiempo, pero también hay espacio para el drama íntimo de los personajes. La película se centra en ellos, haciendo hincapié en sus motivaciones, sentimientos y comportamiento. Si hicieran esto en Hollywood, se inclinarían por darnos un espectáculo de acción, explosiones, tiroteos, etc. Pero no, es una película que se detiene en los detalles de los personajes, algo que personalmente me gusta mucho.

Destaca el equilibrio entre el thriller clásico en el que la trama arranca con una situación de rehenes y se nos mantiene a la expectativa de lo que va a ocurrir, la forma de actuar de la policía en este tipo de casos y cómo las negociaciones con el criminal se van calentando cada vez más. No es una película que vaya a pasar a la historia, pero para pasar un buen rato en tensión extrema, es ideal.
