Greetings, Hive Scrobblers! This is my second entry in @wiseagent's initiative.
I just watched The Nun, friends. It is a fascinating horror story with a deeply disturbing backstory; simply watching the movie isn't enough—you really have to look into the origins of it all. The film has a specific context, so if you plan to watch it, I suggest researching the background so you can fully grasp the story. However, if you just want a 😱 horror story that makes your hair stand on end, I recommend sitting or lying down in bed and enjoying this great movie—one that might keep you up at night for a long time.

The story begins when the Vatican asks a priest—highly experienced in dealing with demonic matters—to visit a church in Romania where very strange things are happening. He doesn't go alone, though; the Vatican assigns a novice nun (one who hasn't yet taken her final vows), named Sister Irene, to accompany him. She appears somewhat innocent at first, but I later discovered she was chosen because she possesses the power to experience visions and premonitions.

Together, they must uncover what is happening at this church, where mysterious and aberrant events are taking place. They have to investigate why a nun decided to commit suicide on the balcony—a suicide that was portrayed in a truly disturbing and realistic scene. At the location, they meet a local—a very handsome Frenchman named Frenchie. He was the one who found the nun's body hanging from the balcony, and he is the only person brave enough to guide them there, as even animals refuse to go near that cursed place.
Once there, they discover a demonic possession involving Valak, a high-ranking demon from hell. One of this demon's traits is that it takes the form of a nun... entering and possessing people. It is a truly harrowing and macabre sight; the scenes are horrific, and the fear and terror are palpable at every moment.

The young nun, the brave priest, and the Frenchman will do everything they can to make it out alive, but they face an uphill battle, as the demon won't make it easy for them. The events that unfold at the end are incredibly gruesome and hard to watch.
If you want to see what happens, I invite you to watch this harrowing horror movie 😱 😱 😱 😱—but be warned: take precautions, because this demon is truly terrifying.
