"I'm just the cook"

In the 1980s, action became a genre and films were released that marked a milestone in the history of cinema, such as "Raiders of the Lost Ark", "Rambo", "Cobra", "Terminator", "Die Hard", among others. Along with this genre, representative actors were launched to stardom. This genre has a very particular characteristic; the main characters, also known as the good guys, kill more people than the bad guys, but they are forgiven because they are the ice cream daddy, as we say in Venezuela. Besides, they never muss their hair and their suit does not wrinkle. Even if a truck runs over them, they will come out impeccable, like the OO7 agent James Bond.
The action genre is not my favorite, but I saw a lot of them. They were the ones my brothers liked and if I didn't see them I had to stay home and be annoyed. Likewise, when in love, as you know, people do crazy things and then blame it on the poor cupid. My hubby used to invite me to the movies to watch his action films and I was happy to go; just like my hubby used to watch my romantic comedies. One for one is not cheating, they say.
Nowadays, I enjoy these action films if and only if I like the actor. My favorite actors featured in this genre are: Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible, Bruce Willis in Die Hard, the ugly Jackie Chan, Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Liam Neeson and the love of my life Steven Seagal.
Steven Seagal is the most handsome and sexy actor in the history of cinema, and in the year 1992 he starred in one of my favorite films known as Under Siege. I still don't know how he managed to use a single knife to kill a group of terrorists. He didn't get his beautiful chef's outfit dirty or wrinkled. I get in the kitchen and everything gets dirty, the kitchen towels, apron, pots and plates. When I say everything, I mean everything. I haven't been able to ask her how she manages to keep her hair in place and keep the ribbon from falling out of her hair. For me it constantly comes off and I have to pick it up off the floor.
In this movie Steven Seagal uses everything to rescue Missouri and the crew. He uses the karate fighting techniques of Mr. Miyagi and Daniel in Karate Kid; those of Sylvester Stallone in Rambo; Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator; powers of Marvel super heroes; and his Kitchen Knife Kit. He didn't use Luke Skywalker's lightsaber because his friend Yoda prevented him from doing so since he wasn't a Jedi and didn't have time to complete his training.

I was fascinated by this film, and when this sexy guy named Casey says, "I cook too," I fell in love all the more since I don't like to cook. I've loved Casie's personality since I first saw him; enigmatic, upstanding, principled and loyal to his country. He doesn't care if they know who he is, being a simple cook is enough for him. He is a rebel who lost everything to confront the system, for this reason he is degraded, but the important thing is that he feels good as a person and does not care about the rest. In a world accustomed to adulation and making decisions regardless of the collateral effects, he preferred to isolate himself.
The plot unfolds on the ship Missouri, an Iowa-class battleship. This ship is involved in a nuclear weapons heist, intrigue, knives, kicks, action and a pretty blonde who helps Casey throughout the film. Corruption is captured in this film, represented in Commander Krill, who has a sinister plan for personal gain. And the power represented in the military high command, who do not care who they take ahead to achieve their goals. What these two bad, backstabbing bad guys don't know is that the cook, my idolized love Steven Segal, who has been underestimated, is going to stop them from getting what they want.
Casey, a man of exquisite taste in food, will go to great lengths to prevent them from stealing the weaponry, which should be left in their custody for when the time comes to reach safe harbor. This film describes the good and the bad in life, but as my friend @elizabeths14 says, the good ones are more. It also gives a glimpse of human misery, of how human beings in order to satisfy their basest desires, out of pride and pettiness, can lash out against their fellow human beings no matter what.
It is important to protect and guard nuclear weapons so that they do not fall into unscrupulous hands, because if they are misused, they can jeopardize the sovereignty of a country and the whole world.

Under Siege was released in 1992, it's almost 30 years since this film brought Steven Seagal to success. It is a Warner Bros Pictures film. It was directed by Andrew Davis. In 1 hour and 43 minutes this plot full of action, martial arts and kitchen knives is developed. The scenes with the knives are my favorite, it gave me a scare that they could hurt him.
I don't think there is anyone on the planet who hasn't seen Casey Ryback. I invite you to seek it out and enjoy it. Be very careful with the knives, as these come out everywhere.

“Solo soy el cocinero”

En los años ochenta, la acción se convirtió en un género y se estrenaron películas que marcaron un hito en la historia del cine, tales como “En busca del arca perdida”, “Rambo”, “Cobra”, “Terminator”, “Duro de matar”, entre otras. Junto a este género fueron lanzados a estrellato actores representativos del mismo. Este género tiene una característica muy particular; los protagonistas o también conocidos como los chicos buenos; matan más gente que los malos, pero se les perdona porque son el papá de los helados, como decimos en Venezuela. Además, nunca se despeinan y su traje no se arruga. Aun cuando les pase una gandola por encima saldrán impecables, como el agente OO7 James Bond.
El género de acción no es mí preferido, sin embargo vi muchas. Eran las que les gustaban a mis hermanos y si no las veía tenía que quedarme fastidiada en casa. Así mismo, cuando se está enamorada, como ustedes ya saben, las personas cometen locuras y después se les echa la culpa al pobre cupido. Mi esposito me invitaba al cine a ver sus películas de acción y yo iba feliz; al igual que mi esposito se calaba mis comedias románticas. Una por una no es trampa dicen por ahí.
En la actualidad, disfruto de estos filmes de acción si y sólo si me gusta el actor. Mis actores preferidos destacados en este género son:Tom Cruise en Misión Imposible, Bruce Willis en Duro de Matar, el feo de Jackie Chan, Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Liam Neeson y el amor de mi vida Steven Seagal.
Steven Seagal es el actor más guapo y sexy de la historia del cine, y en el año 1992 fue protagonista de una de mis filmes preferidas conocida como Alerta Máxima I. Todavía no sé cómo hizo para utilizar un solo cuchillo y con él matar a un grupo de terroristas. No ensució ni se arrugó su bello traje de cocinero. Yo me meto en la cocina y todo queda sucio, los pañitos de cocina, delantal, ollas y platos. Cuando digo todo es todo. No he podido preguntarle cómo hace para no despeinarse y no se caiga la cinta con la que hace la colita. A mí constantemente se me sale y tengo que recogerla del suelo.
En esta película Steven Seagal se vale de todo para rescatar a Missouri y a la tripulación. Utiliza las técnicas de pelea de karate del Señor Miyagi y Daniel en Karate Kid; las de Sylvester Stallone en Rambo; Arnold Schwarzenegger en Terminator; poderes de los súper héroes de Marvel; y su Kit de cuchillos de cocina. No usó el sable láser de Luke Skywalker porque el amigo Yoda lo impidió ya que no era un Jedi y no le daba tiempo de completar su entrenamiento.

A mí me fascinó este filme, y cuando este chico sexy llamado Casey dice: “También cocino”, me enamoré mucho más ya que no me gusta cocinar. Me gusta la personalidad de Casie desde que lo vi por primera vez; enigmático, íntegro, de principios y leal a su país. No le interesa que sepan quién es, con ser un simple cocinero le basta. Es un rebelde que perdió todo por enfrentar al sistema, por este motivo es degradado, pero lo importante es que él se siente bien como persona y no le importa lo demás. En un mundo acostumbrado a la adulación y a tomar decisiones sin importar los efectos colaterales, él prefirió aislarse.
La trama se desarrolla en el barco Missouri, un acorazado de clase Iowa. Esta nave se ve envuelta en un robo de armas nucleares, intriga, cuchillos, patadas, acción y una linda rubia que ayuda a Casey durante toda la película. En este filme se plasma la corrupción, representada en el Comandante Krill, el cual tiene un plan siniestro para obtener un beneficio personal. Y el poder representado en el alto mando militar, a quien no les importa a quien se llevan por delante para lograr sus objetivos. Lo que no saben estos dos malos y traicioneros, es que el cocinero, mi amor idolatrado Steven Segal, el cual ha sido subestimado, les va a impedir obtener lo que desean.
Casey, un hombre de gustos exquisitos por la comida, hará hasta lo imposible por evitar que se roben el armamento, el cual deberá quedar en custodia de ellos para cuando llegue el momento de llegar a puerto seguro. Este film describe lo bueno y lo malo de la vida, pero como dice mi amiga @elizabeths14 los buenos somos más. También se vislumbra la miseria humana, de cómo el ser humano con el fin de satisfacer sus deseos más viles, por soberbia y mezquindad, puede arremeter contra sus compañeros sin importarle nada.
Es importante proteger y custodiar los armamentos nucleares para que no caigan en manos inescrupulosas, ya que estos si son mal utilizados pueden poner en riesgo la soberanía de un país y del mundo entero.

Alerta Máxima fue estrenada en 1992, ya son casi 30 años de esta película que llevó a Steven Seagal al éxito. Es un filme de Warner Bros Pictures. Estuvo dirigida por Andrew Davis. En 1hora y 43 minutos se desarrolla esta trama llena de acción, artes marciales y cuchillos de cocina. Las escenas con los cuchillos son mis preferidas, me daba un susto de que pudieran herirlo.
No creo que haya nadie en el planeta que no haya visto Casey Ryback. Los invito a buscarla y disfrutarla. Mucho cuidado con los cuchillos, ya que estos salen por doquier.
