The family has always been considered the pillar of society, the place where the ethical and moral values that men and women need to face the world are instituted. However, love should not be forgotten, since it is the only thing that allows for this union and coherence between society and the home. We are always constantly moving forward and competing with each other for the achievement of goals, but in the end, there is the home and the family as a haven of peace to calm us down and fill us with energy to move forward.

Even when there are discrepancies among family members, the family will strengthen bonds of both blood and friendship. The important thing is to understand that no one is perfect and that we have to accept each other as we are, creating a bond so strong that we can all push each other forward and help each other. When I hear stories of other families I love mine even more, even when we talk our heads off as we Venezuelans say and there is always someone who always wants to be right. But family is family.

In the Wizard of Oz film, the importance of family for the human being is evident and is emphasized throughout the film, and everything Dorothy does to return to her house, to her home and to see her loved ones again. In the end she manages to understand that she was the only one who could solve her problem to return home and she did not need the help of the Wizard of Oz. Many times this happens to us, we do not know what we are capable of until we have to face some adversities, then all our impetus and what we have inside comes out.

Everything that the main characters of this beautiful story wish for; Dorothy, the lion, the scarecrow and the tin man get it with their efforts and fighting to achieve them. They manage to draw from within themselves the necessary strength to discover themselves, accept themselves and face obstacles. This film also shows the need for human beings to achieve the balance between mind, heart and courage to be able to overcome obstacles and make the right decisions. To be able to face the fear of the changes that come our way in life.

Dorothy is a kind girl, with good feelings and capable of giving help to those who need it, she represents joy, the hope of life. Good always comes before evil to give a message of hope to the human being and to indicate that after a torrential downpour the sun always rises. The three fundamental ingredients that man needs to achieve balance, the heart to love, the brain to make decisions and the courage to face the adversities of life.

The witch represents the temptations that subject man day by day; the white witch, goodness and good things. The wizard of Oz represents power, lies and falsehood. The lion represents the fear of the human being and the need to have courage, that fear that paralyzes us and prevents us from making decisions. All these elements, the human being must keep them in balance to achieve spiritual peace.

As for Oz, it is somewhat complicated because human beings need to believe in something and generally cling to it to help them out of their problems; and the witches were a problem. Oz arrived and they delegated that mission to him, and he has no other choice, and he has to invent an image to terrorize everyone and especially the witches. I did not see this character as arrogant, nor pride and much less an impostor. But rather a kind being who lent himself to help. He is just a person who fought so that Esmeralda could survive.

I think you would also have helped them out of the predicament they were in. The attitude of the people who live in Esmeralda I have seen a lot in the course of my life. Just like you, they elect someone to wash their hands and not have responsibilities, especially in the companies, where three or four fight for their benefits and all enjoy the benefits but stay at their desks watching the bulls behind the fence as we Venezuelans say.

He needed to be the great and terrible Oz to keep the witches and all the dangers that haunted Esmeralda at bay. Everyone says that he is so small and insignificant, but it is not so, it takes courage and creativity to help a people to survive. We must emphasize that solidarity, fraternity and respect are the basis for living in harmony, without hatred or resentment. This is what makes men become great and remembered. We have to support each other to improve the world and maybe one day it will become as beautiful as Esmeralda, the wonderful world of Oz.

This film turned 83 years old and is based on the classic of American writer L.Frank Baum's literature, which was published in 1990. It was made into a film in 1939 by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM). Under the direction of the American filmmaker Victor Fleming. It is a musical, of adventures in the fantastic world of Oz. It takes place in Kansas, it is approximately 98 minutes of emotions, music, dance and friendship.

The melody "Somewhere Over the Rainbow", by American composer Yip Harburg and music by Harold Arlen. It was interpreted in the film by Judy Garland, and won the Oscar for best original song in 1939. For me the scene of Dorothy with her little dog Totó where she sings this beautiful song is one of the most beautiful, it is a song of hope and invites us not to give up and fight for our dreams. La familia siempre ha sido considerada como el pilar de la sociedad, el lugar donde se instituyen los valores éticos y morales que necesitan los hombres y mujeres para enfrentar al mundo. Sin embargo, no se debe olvidar el amor, pues es lo único que permite esa unión y coherencia entre la sociedad y el hogar. Siempre estamos en constante avance y compitiendo unos a otros por el logro de los objetivos, pero al final, ahí está el hogar y la familia como un remanso de paz para calmarnos y llenarnos de anergia para seguir adelante.

Aun cuando haya discrepancias entre los miembros de la familia, en esta se estrecharan lazos tantos sanguíneos como de amistad. Lo importante es entender que nadie es perfecto y que tenemos que aceptarnos como somos, crear un vínculo tan fuerte que nos permitan a todos impulsarnos y ayudarnos mutuamente. Cuando oigo historias de otras familias más quiero a la mía, aun cuando hablamos hasta por los codos como decimos los venezolanos y siempre hay alguno que otro que siempre quiere tener la razón. Pero la familia es familia.

En el film del Mago de Oz se evidencia la importancia de la familia para el ser humano y se recalca en todo la película, y todo lo que hace Dorothy para volver a su casa, a su hogar y volver a ver a sus seres queridos. Al final logra comprender que solo ella era la única que podía solucionar su problema para regresar a su hogar y no necesitaba de la ayuda del mago de Oz. Muchas veces esto nos sucede, no sabemos de lo que somos capaces hasta que tenemos que enfrentar algunas adversidades, ahí sale todo nuestro ímpetu y lo que tenemos adentro.

Todo lo que desean los protagonistas de esta linda historia; Dorothy, el león, el espantapájaros y el hombre de hojalata lo consigue con sus esfuerzos y luchando para lograrlos. Logran sacar de su interior la fuerza necesaria para descubrirse, aceptarse y enfrentar los obstáculos. En este filme también se plasma la necesidad del ser humano de lograr el equilibrio entre la mente, el corazón y el coraje para ser capaz de saltar los obstáculos y tomar decisiones acertadas. Ser capaz de enfrentar el miedo a los cambios que se nos presentan en la vida.

Dorothy es una niña bondadosa, de buenos sentimientos y capaz de brindarle ayuda a quien lo necesite, representa la alegría, la esperanza de vida. El bien siempre se antepone al mal para dar un mensaje de esperanza al ser humano e indicarle de después de un torrencial aguacero siempre sale el sol. Los tres ingredientes fundamentales que necesitan el hombre para lograr el equilibrio, el corazón para amar, el cerebro para tomar decisiones y el valor para enfrentar las adversidades de la vida.

La bruja representa las tentaciones que someten al hombre día a día; la bruja blanca, la bondad y las cosas buenas. En el mago de Oz se representa el poder, la mentira y falsedad. En el león se ve el miedo del ser humano y la necesidad de tener valor, ese miedo que nos paraliza y nos impide tomar decisiones. Todos estos elementos, el ser humano debe mantenerlo en equilibrio para alcanzar la paz espiritual.

En cuanto a Oz, es algo complicado porque lo seres humanos necesitan creer en algo y generalmente se aferran a ello para que los ayuden a salir de sus problemas; y las brujas eran un problema. Llegó Oz y delegaron en el esa misión, y a este no le queda otra alternativa, y tiene que inventar una imagen para aterrorizar a todos y sobre todo a las brujas. Yo no vi este personaje soberbio, ni orgullo y mucho menos un impostor. Sino más bien un ser bondadoso y que se prestó a ayudar. Solo es una persona que lucho para que Esmeralda lograra sobrevivir.

Creo que también los hubieses ayudado a salir del aprieto en el cual se encontraba. La actitud de las personas que habitan Esmeralda las he visto mucho en el transcurso de mi vida. Al igual que ustedes, eligen a alguien para lavarse las manos y no tener responsabilidades, sobre todo se ve en las empresas, donde tres o cuatro luchan por sus reindicaciones y todos disfrutan de los beneficios pero se quedan en sus escritorios viendo los toros detrás de la barrera como decimos los venezolanos.

El necesitaba ser el gran y terrible Oz para mantener a raya a las brujas y a todos los peligros que acechaban a Esmeralda. Todos dicen que es tan pequeño e insignificante, pero no es así hay que tener valor y creatividad para lograr ayudar a un pueblo a sobrevivir. Hay que recalcar que solidaridad, fraternidad y el respeto son las bases para vivir en armonía, sin odio ni rencores. Esto es lo que los hombres lleguen a ser grandes y recordados. Tenemos que apoyamos unos a otros para mejorar el mundo y puede ser que algún día llegue a ser tan bello como Esmeralda, el maravilloso mundo de Oz.

Después de la tormenta llega la calma para apaciguar el alma y lograr el equilibrio que tanto necesita el ser humano, y sobre todo nunca hay que dejar de soñar. La actuación de la actriz estadounidense Judy Garland me fascino, yo era una niña y quede impresionada. He visto esta película muchas veces y después de tantos años le encuentro sentido, no es un simple cuento, es algo más trascendental. Es algo que está allí y no se ve a simple vista sino con los ojos del corazón, cuando se es adulto es cuando nos da nostalgia, de esos lindos momentos con nuestros seres queridos.

Judy Garland a la actriz que mejor ha interpretado el papel de Dorothy. Esta niña irradiaba luz y tenía una sonrisa bellísima.

Los invito a aventurarse en este gran viaje al mundo de Oz, donde la magia y la fantasía hacen de este un lugar hermoso y allí encontraran amigos que los acompañaran. Ahí los espera el león, el espantapájaros y el hombre de hojalata para correr por los campos entre las flores. Vamos a creer, a ser niños y ver ese lindo arcoíris que nos espera al final del camino.
