I’ve been seeing references to this movie for days now, and I thought, “I have to give it a try—it looks really promising.” That said, I’d also like to share my perspective: rather than just an adventure about dancers, I hope it’s a learning experience. So yes, that’s how the movie Pretty Lethal began.
Pretty Lethal was a film directed by Vicky Jewson that premiered on March 13, 2026. I was reading some fun facts, and one of them is that the actresses had to attend a ballet camp for five weeks and train for 12 hours a day so they could perform the scenes with those demanding poses. I love how natural their dance moves looked—it made me think they were actual dancers, and now I see why; their effort was incredible.
It was different from the kidnapping movies we usually see—the damsel in distress. On the contrary, they become super lethal with their ballet moves. I feel like it was a bit over the top in some scenes, but I remember that it’s a movie, so some things are acceptable, hahaha. It has a mix of suspense about how it might end and gore in every scene.

Pretty Lethal, fue un film dirigido por Vicky Jewson el cual tuvo estreno el 13 de marzo de 2026, estuve leyendo algunos datos curiosos y uno de ellos es que las actrices tuvieron que ir a un campamento de ballet por 5 semanas y entrenar 12 horas, para ellas ejecutar las escenas, con las exigentes posiciones, me encanta por qué se vio tan natural la ejecución de pasos que me hizo pensar que si.eran bailarinas y ya veo el porque, estuvo increíble el esfuerzo.
Fue algo diferente a las películas de secuestro que solemos ver, la damisela en peligro, al contrario ellas se vuelven súper letales con sus pasos de ballet, siento que fue exagerado en algunas escenas pero recuerdo que es una película y es aceptable algunas cosas jajaja tiene una combinación de suspenso a como puede terminar y sangrienta en cada escena.
I like to check out the actresses in movies, and guess what—someone looked really familiar to me: Maddie Ziegler, an American actress and dancer. Not only that, but when I was a kid, I watched a show she was on, and that’s where she first became well-known—many years ago now—on Dance Moms. It’s nice to see her again after so long, plus, this kind of movie must have been easy for her because it’s her element.
The trailer I’m sharing with you has lots and lots of suspense and action scenes—just as you see it, every scene is packed with action and blood; it leaves nothing to the imagination. It gives clues about the story’s plot; it doesn’t skip over what happened—it was designed so that people could watch the trailer and decide whether or not to see the movie.
One thing I’d like to point out is that they don’t spend much time on the backstory leading up to the events; it’s not the typical opening drama explaining why they’re there. just a brief mention of a minor incident—a quick glimpse into the story—and they focus more on what happens in the house, which is where 95% of the movie literally takes place. It tries not to portray the dancers as fragile girls, as they’ve always been depicted; on the contrary, it highlights the hard work they do and makes them appear strong.
Me gusta revisar a las actrices de las películas y adivinen que, alguien se me hizo muy familiar, Maddie Ziegler, una actriz y bailarina estadounidense, no solo eso sino que desde niña ví un programa donde ella participo y se hizo reconocida desde alli, hace ya muchos años, en dance moms, es grato volver a verla después de tanto tiempo, además que este tipo de películas se le debió ser fácil por qué es su terreno conocido.
El tráiler que les comparto, muchas muchas escenas de suspenso y acción, así como lo miran es, tiene cada escena llena de acción y sangre no deja nada a la expectativa, tiene pistas de la secuencia de la historia, no salta lo sucedido fue pensado para que la persona pudiera ver el trailer y decidir si verla o no.
Hay una cosa que me gustaría resaltar es que no dan mucho pies a historia antes de lo ocurrido, no es el típico drama de inicio del por que están allí, solo es algo breve de un pequeño roce, algo rápido en historia y se centran más en lo que pasa en la casa que es donde ocurre el 95% de la película literal, intenta no ver a las bailarinas como chicas frágiles como siempre lo han hecho ver, al contrario, es como demostrar el trabajo difícil que hacen, las hacen ver fuertes.
Two scenes I can talk about are these two: the first image shows me the dancers’ determination—they’re no longer afraid to face the thugs who want to capture them to silence them; they’re very determined. The second scene was funny because they wanted to rescue the guy who was trying to kill them, but they didn’t hesitate for a second to hand him over to the boss—hahaha—it was pretty satisfying for me.
Going to the movies to see this film—especially with people who love blood and action—would be a great plan. It has some really good scenes to watch on the big screen, and the experience would probably be spectacular.
As for a recommendation: as you can see, it’s not for everyone. It doesn’t have any sexual scenes, but it does have plenty of bloody and very intense scenes that aren’t suitable for young children. Dos escenas de las que puedo hablar son de estás dos, la primera imagen me muestra la determinación de las bailarinas en que ya no tienen miedo de enfrentarse a los matones que quieren atraparlas para silenciarlas, van muy determinadas, la segunda escena fue graciosa porque quisieron rescatar a quien quería matarlas pero no dudaron ni un segundo entregarlo a la jefa jajaja fue bastante satisfactorio para mí.
El cine con esta película andando y con personas que le guste la sangre y acción, sería buen plan, tiene escenas bastante buenas para ver en pantalla grande y capaz el asombro sería espectacular.
En modo recomendación, pues como pueden ver no es para todo público, no tiene escenas sexuales pero si bastante escenas sangrientas y muy fuertes para los pequeños del hogar, si muestra fortaleza en las chicas que es el mensaje que quieren dejar, para adolescentes puede ser pero con supervisión de los padres, tu ya viste está película?
