Desde que vi esta serie solo pensé "tengo que reseñarla" "tengo que hablar de ella" por desgracia ninguno de mis conocidos la vio, así que eso me limito. Sin embargo, ¿para que tengo este lugar? pues para hablar, así que no voy ha dudar mucho con esto, y mejor me sumerjo en el tema.
Episodio 6: Nubian vs Nubian
Este capitulo comienza en el pasado, como se conoció la pareja protagonista. Dos supers que al luchar con un villano feroz, las chispas volaron y terminaron enamorados. La actualidad no es tan bella como el pasado, su matrimonio esta al borde del divorcio y su hija esta en el medio del conflicto. La niña trata de evitar que sus padres se separen, así que busca la razón por la que se unieron en un principio, el villano con manos de martillo, alli descubre que todo es un show, héroes y villanos hacen teatro frente a la gente, como la lucha libre, aunque esto no le importa a la niña, solo quiere reunir a sus padres, trata de conversar al sujeto por las buenas, al final termina amenazándolo con acusaciones de pedofilia, sin nada como contrarrestar el hombre accede. Montan un show para sus padres, rápidamente todo se sale de control y los padres masacran a la posible victima de esto, el ficticio villano. A pesar de lo mal que salieron las cosa la niña piensa que funciono, sus padres se reunieron, sin embargo después de un corto plazo de felicidad, los problemas vuelven, el divorcio es inminente pero esta vez la niña acepta y promueve la separación, ya que esta cansada de sus padres.
El divorcio nunca es fácil y los hijos siempre quedan atrapados en el medio. Sin embargo, el divorcio en ocasiones en la única opción para continuar sanamente con algo, esa es mi sincera opinión sobre el tema. Hay parejas que necesitan separarse antes que se verdad se hagan daño o le hagan daño a alguien mas. Este episodio tiene un mensaje contundente en esa parte, me encanto que la niña aceptara la separación de sus padres después de tanta oposición, claro es normal que no quiera que ellos se divorcien, son sus padres, quererlos juntos y bien es algo que los niños desean, mas en esa situación. Otra parte interesante que muestran en el capitulo es la dinámica héroe / villano de ese mundo, si hay súper villanos aunque estos son producto de la actuación. Además el episodio nos da a entender que los poderes no se trasmiten de padres a hijos y solo el compuesto V los da, claro esto es una simple teoría, ya que la niña a pesar de tener dos padres supers ella no tiene ninguna habilidad. En fin, es un capitulo genial, muy recomendado y su estilo esta inspirado en el anime Japonés.
John and Sun-Hee
La vida de un matrimonio de ancianos queda desbastada cuando a la mujer se le diagnostica cáncer en una etapa terminal. El señor en desesperación se infiltra y roba compuesto V de Vought en un intento de salvar a su esposa de la inminente muerte, pero esto solo complica mas las cosas. Mientras escapan de las fuerzas de seguridad de Vought, una masa devoradora sale de la mujer y comienza a destruir todo a su paso, colocando a todos en peligro. Al final todo es un baño de sangre, la esposa se sacrifica para acabar con la criatura a pesar de la negativa del sujeto a perderla.
La muerte es algo que nos afecta a todos en distintos niveles, cada quien a perdido alguien especial en su vida y duele, es triste pero real. Este capitulo deja de lado el humor totalmente, es una historia seria ligada con la fantasía del mundo de The Boys, creo que es el único capitulo de la temporada que preserva su seriedad de inicio a fin, sin chistes, sin burlas, esto nos permite enfatizar muy bien con los personajes y con su situación. Tal vez todo se trate de una alegoría al mismo cáncer y como esta enfermedad puede consumir todo a su paso, eso no deja de sonar en mi cabeza. Este episodio tiene un estilo de animación muy bien logrado, es un espectáculo para los ojos, también es muy visual todo lo que pasa. Se inspiraron en el Drama y Horror Coreano para realizar esta historia y se nota en cada detalle.
Episodio 8: One Plus One Equals Two
La trama se centra en el pasado, específicamente los inicios de Homelander en los Seven. Podemos ver la entrada de Homelander al equipo y como el publico lo ovaciona, esta nervioso ya que quiere cumplir con las expectativas además se encuentra aturdido por ver tanta gente, tiene pequeños recuerdos de su terrible pasado, como experimento de laboratorio, pero logra salir adelante. Su manager le advierte de Black Noir, este no solo es una amenaza para su carrera sino también es la persona encargada de mantenerlo bajo control, porque la directiva no confía en él. Esto causa miedo en Homelander quien quiere demostrar su valida, así que cuando unos eco terroristas toman una planta de químicos no duda en atender el llamado solo. La situación se sale de control y todos los civiles mueren a causa del trauma y descontrol de homelander, este obviamente piensa que Black Noir tomara represarías pero para su sorpresa no fue así, mas bien lo ayuda a ocultar todo y lo deja bien parado.
Antes de este episodio ya sabíamos algo del pasado de Homelander pero en esta ocasión podemos experimentarlo de primera mano. Además también nos da mas material de Black Noir quien destaca por ser el mas misterioso del equipo. Ambos son psicópatas pero a distintos niveles, Homelander se podría describir como un niño sin limites que no sabe como vivir en una sociedad, todo a causa de su niñez, ahora que esta en libertad no distingue el mal del bien, ni mucho menos tiene sentido común. Hay una parte que refleja muy bien el punto, y es cuando usa una barra de metal para detener un terrorista, envolviendo al sospecho con ella, lo que le causa la muerte, esto es salido de cualquier comic de súper héroes. Sin embargo, en la vida "real" esto mataría a cualquier, cosa que pasa. Homelander actúa como un héroe porque es lo que quieren de él y se basa de cualquier medio para su papel, aunque la realidad es que él no comprende lo que pasa a su alrededor, pero eso no justifica sus malas acciones. Su estilo esta inspirado en las Series y Películas de Animación de Supera Herodes.
En conclusión, esta serie es brutal, ampliamente recomendada. Si disfrutas la animación te va a encantar sus distintos estilos y referencias, si no la han visto deberían verla y si ya la vieron seguro estarán de acuerdo con muchas cosa que dije. Yo la vi de casualidad y no me arrepiento ni un poco.

Since I saw this series I just thought "I have to review it" "I have to talk about it" unfortunately none of my acquaintances saw it, so that limited me. However, what do I have this place for? Well, to talk, so I'm not going to hesitate too much with this, and I'd better dive right in.
Episode 6: Nubian vs Nubian
This chapter begins in the past, how the protagonist couple met. Two supers who while fighting a fierce villain, sparks flew and they ended up in love. The present is not as beautiful as the past, their marriage is on the verge of divorce and their daughter is in the middle of the conflict. The girl tries to prevent her parents from separating, so she looks for the reason why they got together in the beginning, the villain with hammer hands, there she discovers that everything is a show, heroes and villains make theater in front of people, like wrestling, although this does not matter to the girl, she just wants to reunite her parents, she tries to talk to the guy by good, in the end she ends up threatening him with accusations of pedophilia, with nothing to counter the man agrees. They put on a show for her parents, quickly everything gets out of control and the parents slaughter the possible victim of this, the fictional villain. This episode has a strong message in that part, I loved that the girl accepted the separation of her parents after so much opposition, of course it is normal that she does not want them to divorce, they are her parents, wanting them together and well is something that children want, more in that situation. Another interesting part shown in the chapter is the dynamic hero / villain of that world, if there are super villains but these are a product of acting. In addition the episode gives us to understand that the powers are not transmitted from parents to children and only the compound V gives them, of course this is a simple theory, since the girl despite having two parents supers she has no ability. Anyway, it's a great chapter, highly recommended and its style is inspired by Japanese anime.

The life of an elderly married couple is devastated when the wife is diagnosed with cancer at a terminal stage. The gentleman in desperation infiltrates and steals Vought's V-Compound in an attempt to save his wife from imminent death, but this only complicates matters further. As they escape from Vought's security forces, a devouring mass emerges from the woman and begins to destroy everything in its path, putting everyone in danger. In the end it's all a bloodbath, the wife sacrifices herself to finish off the creature despite the subject's refusal to lose her.
Death is something that affects us all on different levels, everyone has lost someone special in their lives and it hurts, it's sad but real. This chapter leaves aside humor completely, it is a serious story linked to the fantasy world of The Boys, I think it is the only chapter of the season that preserves its seriousness from beginning to end, no jokes, no mockery, this allows us to emphasize very well with the characters and their situation. Maybe it's all about an allegory to cancer itself and how this disease can consume everything in its path, that doesn't stop ringing in my head. This episode has a very well done animation style, it's a spectacle for the eyes, it's also very visual everything that happens. They were inspired by Korean Drama and Horror to make this story and it shows in every detail.
Episode 8: One Plus One Equals Two
The plot focuses on the past, specifically Homelander's beginnings in the Seven. We get to see Homelander's entrance to the team and how the crowd cheers him on, he is nervous as he wants to live up to expectations plus he is stunned to see so many people, he has little flashbacks to his terrible past, as a lab experiment, but he manages to pull through. His manager warns him about Black Noir, who is not only a threat to his career but also the person in charge of keeping him under control, because the management does not trust him. This causes fear in Homelander who wants to prove his worth, so when eco-terrorists take over a chemical plant he doesn't hesitate to answer the call alone. The situation gets out of control and all the civilians die because of Homelander's trauma and lack of control, Homelander obviously thinks that Black Noir will retaliate but to his surprise it didn't, rather it helps him to hide everything and leaves him well off.
Before this episode we already knew something of Homelander's past but this time we get to experience it first hand. In addition we also get more footage of Black Noir who stands out as the most mysterious of the team. Both are psychopaths but at different levels, Homelander could be described as a child without limits who does not know how to live in a society, all because of his childhood, now that he is free he does not distinguish evil from good, much less has common sense. There is a part that reflects the point very well, and it is when he uses a metal rod to stop a terrorist, wrapping the suspect with it, which causes his death, this is out of any superhero comic book. However, in "real" life this would kill anyone, which it does. Homelander acts like a hero because that's what they want from him and he relies on any means to play his role, although the reality is that he doesn't understand what's going on around him, but that doesn't justify his bad actions. His style is inspired by the Super Herod Animated Series and Movies.
In conclusion, this series is brutal, highly recommended. If you enjoy animation you will love its different styles and references, if you haven't seen it you should watch it and if you have seen it you will surely agree with many things I said. I saw it by chance and I don't regret it one bit.
