En la primera mitad de la segunda temporada de Euphoria ¿La imagen de Rue ha sido destruida?
En el pasado mes de enero se estrenó la esperada segunda temporada de **"Euphoria"**, serie juvenil producida tanto por A24 como por HBO quien también se encarga de su distribución internacional; esta serie dirigida y escrita por _**Sam Levinson**_, relata la historia de un grupo de jóvenes que deben lidiar con todo lo que conlleva la presión en la escuela, encajar para no ser un rechazado, depresión, orientación sexual y claro, el abuso de drogas; este último tema es importante porque está más que nada enfocado en el personaje principal de esta serie y de la cual pienso que en muchas oportunidades es quien nos relata está historia, un personaje de la cual a pesar de todo lo que ha vivido, experimentado, se ganó... puedo decir admiración, cariño de los seguidores de esta serie, todo gracias a la muy buena actuación de _**Zendaya**_ dando vida a "Rue", una adolescente que sufre y que su única salida para encajar en el mundo es el abuso de las drogas; ahora en esta nueva etapa de la serie y a pesar de seguir viendo a Rue en una etapa sumamente abusiva con las drogas, tal vez la empatía hacia su personaje se haya visto debilitada por las malas decisiones que toma poniendo en peligro la su vida y de las personas que realmente la aman, es por eso que después de ver los dos últimos episodios estrenados de esta 2da temporada me preguntó si _**Sam**_ arruinó el personaje o solamente muestra lo que realmente es Rue.

I can say admiration, affection of the followers of this series, all thanks to the very good performance of _**Zendaya**_ giving life to "Rue", a teenager who suffers and whose only way out to fit into the world is drug abuse; now in this new stage of the series and despite continuing to see Rue in a highly abusive stage with drugs, perhaps the empathy towards her character has been weakened by the bad decisions she makes endangering her life and the people who really love her, that's why after watching the last two episodes of this 2nd season I wondered if _**Sam**_ ruined the character or just shows what really is Rue.
Desde el primer momento Rue es mi personaje favorito, como dije antes, la historia de esta serie la vemos desde su punto de vista, ella nos relata el comienzo de la historia de cada uno de sus personajes y de ellos está la obligación de terminarla, esto hace a su vez que cada espectador tenga las ganas de seguir viendo otras historias y no solo enfocarse en la protagonista; lo que sucede en la segunda temporada es que a pesar de que en parte si hay episodios importantes desde el punto de vista de Rue, creo que los demás personajes han tomado el liderato y sus historias se convirtió en algo muy atractivo para muchas personas, por ejemplo las historias de "Cassie, Cal y Nate Jacobs" o por una que me sorprendió que atrajera a muchos cómo es la posible relación entre "Frezco y Lexi", puede ser que está historias han opacado a todo lo que todavía debe vivir Rue y posiblemente le hayan quitado protagonismo, pero creo que existe un verdadero factor que hace que estos personajes puedan hasta ser más importantes que la protagonista principal de la serie, uno es que Rue vive sumergida como nunca en las drogas y eso la hace tomar decisiones que muchos no aceptan y tal vez eso hace que haya personas que se alejen de lo que muestra este personaje y prefieran enfocarse en la relación de Cassie y Nate o la de Fez con Lexi.
From the first moment Rue is my favorite character, as I said before, we see the story of this series from her point of view, she tells us the beginning of the story of each of her characters and they have the obligation to finish it, this in turn makes each viewer have the desire to continue watching other stories and not just focus on the protagonist; what happens in the second season is that even though there are important episodes from Rue's point of view, I think that the other characters have taken the lead and their stories became very attractive for many people, for example the stories of "Cassie, Cal and Nate Jacobs" or one that surprised me that attracted many people, such as the possible relationship between "Frezco and Lexi", It may be that these stories have overshadowed everything that Rue still has to live and possibly have taken away her protagonism, but I think there is a real factor that makes these characters may even be more important than the main protagonist of the series, one is that Rue lives immersed as ever in drugs and that makes her make decisions that many do not accept and perhaps that makes some people to move away from what this character shows and prefer to focus on the relationship of Cassie and Nate or Fez with Lexi.
El cambio que ha tenido Rue desde la primera temporada a esta es la que puede suceder al conocer y mantener una amistad con un adicto, por ejemplo, en la primera temporada vemos a Rue "rehabilitada" en su continuo consumo de drogas que solo es detenido cuando conoce y se enamora de Jules, pero tampoco es una relación estable y eso hace que recaiga a su primer vicio; este personaje es sumamente dependiente, primero depende de su padre quien siente que es el único que la entiende, segundo de las drogas para no sentirse extraña en el mundo, tercero del amor de la chica nueva y cuando todo falla, regresa a lo que para ella es fácil de obtener, las drogas. En la primera temporada el drama de esta chica es entendible, tantas perdidas, la presión y a pesar de mucho esfuerzo no obtienes lo que quieres y es por eso que puede preguntarse "¿Por qué me esfuerzo tanto?" Y al final eso la lleva a la recaída y con todo eso sigo diciendo que es entendible sus actos, ahora en la segunda temporada es donde creo que estamos viendo a la anterior Rue, la que tuvo una sobredosis y por eso terminó internada hasta estar nuevamente limpia de drogas y es la que conocimos al comienzo de esta.

In the first season the drama of this girl is understandable, so many losses, the pressure and despite much effort you do not get what you want and that is why you can ask yourself "Why did I try so hard?" And in the end that leads to relapse and with all that I still say that it is understandable her actions, now in the second season is where I think we are seeing the previous Rue, the one who had an overdose and therefore ended up hospitalized until being clean of drugs again and is the one we met at the beginning of this one.

La Rue de la segunda temporada es una máquina de consumir drogas y de decir mentiras, no hay ningún personaje con quién haya interactuado y no le ha mentido, pienso que a las únicas dos personas a las cuales ha sido muy sincera es a Ali y Elliot, uno la quiere ayudar para que se mantenga sobria y el otro puedo decir que es el nuevo dealer; el que le da la mano y ofrece ayuda ha sido apartado y eso porque al no saber lidiar al ver a una hermosa joven mujer perder su vida por el uso excesivo de drogas, muestra frustración usando rabia y eso hace que pierda toda autoridad, pero ¿Qué lo llevo a actuar de forma errónea? Primero La actitud arrogante de un adicto, segundo que las palabras motivacionales ya no hacen efecto sobre el adicto y eso lo lleva a rebajarse a un nivel bajo en dónde su autoridad tiene un valor menor; en cambio, quien la ayuda en su adicción si tiene el poder de aconsejar, motivar y hay algo que es importante y grave, está persona no siente responsabilidad por sus actos y creo que eso transmite a alguien que justamente no quiere sentir eso y para mí eso es algo sumamente peligroso porque en esta historia vemos a Rue tomar peligrosas decisiones que atenta a su vida y posiblemente a las de los demás.

Firstly, the arrogant attitude of an addict, secondly, the motivational words no longer have any effect on the addict and that leads him to lower himself to a low level where his authority has a lesser value; On the other hand, the person who helps her in her addiction has the power to advise, motivate and there is something that is important and serious, this person does not feel responsibility for her actions and I think that transmits to someone who just does not want to feel that and for me that is something extremely dangerous because in this story we see Rue making dangerous decisions that threatens her life and possibly the lives of others.
En lo que va de temporada conocemos a la Rue irresponsable, mentirosa, egoísta, arrogante y adicta, esta versión como dije anteriormente es la que la llevo casi a la muerte y parece que en esta oportunidad puede ser que obtenga lo que quiere, pero no quiero adelantar nada, me quiero enfocar en que para algunos espectadores la vida trágica de Rue llena de dependencia pareciera que no es atrayente para algunos y creo que se están perdiendo de una historia muy real del principal personaje; en mi vida he conocido a personas, amistades que padecieron y superaron el abuso de las drogas, primeramente algunas de estas personas las consideraba divertidas y al saber de sus problemas o lo que hacían me alejaba de ellas porque sabía que en algún momento traerán problemas, digo esto porque creo que esto puede suceder aparte de los que ven esta serie, se aburren, no quieren saber nada de un adicto porque juzgan sus actos y a la vez crea un rechazo hacia el personaje y se enfoca en la historia de otros personajes, en cambio, me siento más atraído y preocupado por todo lo que puede pasar y sé que está es una historia de ficción, pero para ser sincero tiene mucha realidad, Rue está creada para ser el reflejo del adicto, hablo de su comportamiento, de su dependencia, de su depresión y claro de su soledad, es claro que está historia es la más cruda, dramática y todavía faltan varios episodios hasta llegar al final y para ser sincero no espero lo mejor; sin embargo, con todo lo antes descrito debo decir que este personaje no ha sido dañado, para mí sigue siendo la mejor y su historia es real igual que la Cassie, Kat y Jules por nombrar a otros, pero creo que al ver a un adicto hundido en sus vicios tal vez no sea los que muchos quieran ver y es ahí donde pienso que justamente es donde todos deberían enfocarse a ver, Rue es solitaria porque ella quiere, manipula a quien ama y quiénes la aman, así como hace con las drogas, toma lo que necesita, lo desecha y después lo vuelve a usar, un círculo vicioso es lo que define la vida de este personaje que parece que cada vez más cerca está llegando a su fin. Dios sabe cuántas veces he visto esta historia desde el lugar en donde crecí y por varias personas que conocí en mi adolescencia que tuvieron esta vida, es por eso que no juzgo ni tampoco siento admiración ni mucho menos lástima, tal vez empatía, más con la edad que tengo sabiendo lo difícil que es el mundo, es por eso que cuando hay personas que critican esta serie o que celebran lo que hacen estos personajes, creo que en realidad no ven en fondo o no captan lo que transmite está historia que tampoco busca hacer la clara afirmación de decir "Dile NO a las Drogas", ya que lo que creo que busca decir es que todos cometemos errores, la vida es muy jodida, es fuerte y por eso debemos tener armas para poder enfrentarla o tratar de enfrentarla y más claro ejemplo son todos esos personajes que no están pasando nada bien y que parece que el mundo se les viene abajo y que apresar de eso esperemos que tenga un final esperanzador aunque como he dicho en reiteradas veces en este post tengo cero expectativas de que todo terminara de la mejor forma para todos.
So far this season we know the irresponsible, lying, selfish, arrogant and addicted Rue, this version as I said before is the one that led her almost to death and it seems that this time she might get what she wants, but I do not want to advance anything, I want to focus on that for some viewers Rue's tragic life full of dependence seems that it is not appealing to some and I think they are missing a very real story of the main character; in my life I have known people, friends who suffered and overcame drug abuse, at first some of these people I considered them fun and when I knew about their problems or what they did I stayed away from them because I knew that at some point they will bring problems, I say this because I think this can happen apart from those who watch this series, they get bored, they don't want to know anything about an addict because they judge their actions and at the same time it creates a rejection towards the character and focuses on the story of other characters, instead, I feel more attracted and worried about everything that can happen and I know that this is a fictional story, but to be honest it has a lot of reality, Rue is created to be the reflection of the addict, I talk about his behavior, his dependence, his depression and of course his loneliness, it is clear that this story is the most raw, dramatic and there are still several episodes to go until the end and to be honest I do not expect the best; However, with everything described above I must say that this character has not been damaged, for me she is still the best and her story is real just like Cassie, Kat and Jules to name a few, but I think that seeing an addict sunk in his vices may not be what many want to see and that is where I think that is where everyone should focus to see, Rue is lonely because she wants to be, she manipulates who she loves and who loves her, just like she does with drugs, she takes what she needs, throws it away and then uses it again, a vicious cycle is what defines this character's life that seems to be getting closer and closer to its end. God knows how many times I have seen this story from the place where I grew up and by several people I knew in my adolescence who had this life, that is why I do not judge nor do I feel admiration nor much less pity, maybe empathy, more with the age I have knowing how difficult the world is, that is why when there are people who criticize this series or celebrate what these characters do, I think they do not really see in depth or do not grasp what this story conveys that neither seeks to make the clear statement of saying "Say NO to Drugs", since what I think it seeks to say is that we all make mistakes, life is very fucked up, it is strong and that is why we must have weapons to face it or try to face it and the clearest example are all those characters who are not doing well and it seems that the world is coming down on them and we hope it has a hopeful ending although as I have said several times in this post I have zero expectations that everything will end in the best way for everyone.
