The Phantom Planet: Just a Love Story in Space 👨🏻‍🚀👨🏻‍🚀, Classic Review

I’m sharing the trailer for this film that’s been lost in space—since it’s a classic work that’s metaphorically speaking an orphan, having lost its creators. Despite that, I don’t think it takes away from its merit; at first, I found the story slow-moving, but once it gets into what it really wants to explore… Wow!! It becomes addictive 😁😁

It’s a science fiction film that, for the most part, leans into the romantic, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t explore alpha-male conflicts and other more philosophical themes—one of which is linked to death 😱😱

Two astronauts are ordered to investigate what happened to their missing crewmates and spacecraft; one of them really struck me with his brotherhood, camaraderie, and his morally and religiously sound way of behaving in response to a situation. It’s a story that depicts a civilization that has calmly mastered travel to planets near Earth, with a launch base on the Moon; therefore, I don’t think these characters are fervent religious believers 🤔🤔

They speak and give their all to fulfill their mission; one of them even tells the other that he’s a good man—and I wholeheartedly agree with that, because I witnessed his noble action. The outcome of the interaction between these two colleagues struck me as truly sad 😭😭. In this regard, the film is very well written; it’s a shame this wasn’t developed as a central theme in the movie, but as a secondary element, I feel it really enriches the film 🥲🥲

These are things, situations, and scenes that really make you think—seeing an astronaut pray to God not to save his life, but to save his soul, because he knows that the end of his existence is inevitable.... It’s a scene that still sticks with me very strongly 😖😖

Les comparto el Trailer de este film que se ha perdido en el espacio ya que es una obra clasica huerfana de padres creadores metaforicamente hablando, a pesar de lo anterior, pienso que no le quita merito ya que la historia en un principio la senti lenta de ver pero una vez se establece en lo que verdaderamente quiere desarrollar.... WoW!! se hace adictiva 😁😁

Es una ciencia ficcion que en su mayor parte conecta con lo romantico pero eso no quiere decir que no desarrolle conflictos de macho alfa y otras sensaciones mas filosoficas donde una de ellas esta asociada a la muerte 😱😱

Dos Astronautas reciben la orden de investigar que ha sucedido con sus compañeros y naves que han desaparecido, uno de ellos me impacto por su fraternidad, compañerismo, correcta moral y religiosa forma de comportarse para responder ante una situacion, es una historia que plantea a una civilizacion que domina tranquilamente viajes a planetas cercanos de La Tierra con una Base para despegues en La Luna, por lo tanto pienso que estos personajes fervientes creyentes religiosos no creo que sean 🤔🤔

Ellos hablan, dan lo mejor de si para cumplir su mision, hasta uno de ellos le dice al otro que es un buen Hombre, con lo cial estoy profundamente de acuerdo porque fui testigo de su noble accion, el desenlace en la interaccion de estos dos compañeros vaya que me parecio muy triste 😭😭. En este aspecto el film esta muy bien escrito, lastima no fue algo a desarrollar de manera principal en la pelicula pero como elemento secundario siento que enriquece mucho al film 🥲🥲

Son cosas, situaciones y escenas que dan mucho a pensar, ver un Astronauta rezar una plegaria a Dios no para salvar su vida, si no para salvar su Alma porque sabe que el fin de su existencia es inevitable.... Es algo que como escena aun tengo positivamente muy presente 😖😖
