When I was a kid, I thought I was a scientist; I’d catch ants and pull off their antennae to see how they behaved. Now I really regret that, but the results of those experiments were right in front of me—they were tangible to a child’s mind, whose judgment and morality were no different from those of the unscrupulous Dr. Herbert West 🧑🏻‍🔬🧑🏻‍🔬

Re-Animator is a film with a strong scientific focus, at least in terms of its experimental approach to studying human behavior. Its protagonist, Dr. West, is a Frankenstein at heart—which is a plus for fans of that classic—and it would be a surprise if anyone reading this didn’t know about Frankenstein.

This inspiration is a very positive influence on the film, as it drives it to forge its own independent path in experimenting with the concept of life after death. I found the screenplay extremely original because I couldn’t clearly place it within a zombie context, nor with mad scientists; it’s more of a blood-soaked feast at the intersection of science and reanimation.

De pequeño me creia cientifico, tomaba hormigas y les quitaba las antenas para ver su comportamiento, ahora como me arrepiento de eso pero los resultados de esos experimentos los tuve frente a mi, fueron tangibles a una mente infante cuyo criterio y moralidad no se diferencian en nada con la del Inescrupuloso Dr Herbert West 🧑🏻‍🔬🧑🏻‍🔬

Re-Animator es un film con mucho enfoque cientifico, al menos en el aspecto experimental del estudio a el comportamiento humano, su protagonista El Dr West es un Frankenstein en alma lo cual es un plus para aquellos fans de aquella obra y sera una sorpresa si es que exista alguien que me este leyendo y no sepa de Frankenstein.

La inspiracion esta presente de manera muy positiva para la pelicula ya que la impulsa para desarrollar su propio camino independiente para experimentar con el concepto de la vida despues de la muerte. El Guion me parecio en extremo original porque no pude ubicarlo netamente en un contexto de zombis, ni tampoco con cientificos locos, es mas un festin de cabezas sangrantes entre la Ciencia y La Reanimacion.

Science supposedly seeks the good of people, but woe to those who end up as guinea pigs to carry out an experiment and obtain its results 😐😐

I’m sharing the trailer for the movie that perfectly captures this lack of compassion in science. As humans, we strive to do good, but science seeks to explain things, often setting aside humanity’s morality to achieve its—all too often—selfish goals.

I don’t think there are any heroes—there are villainous scientists in this story, some of whom lie to themselves while claiming to seek the good of humanity.

It’s monstrous to defy God; that intention is the science fiction behind the green liquid at the core of this story, and it’s what makes everything that unfolds possible.

One point of criticism is that the film excels at comedy but excels even more at the sinister—so much so that I think the comedic parts exist because the story itself doesn’t know how to explain them, so they were portrayed in an exaggerated manner and, in turn, as a tribute to past works to hide the fact that they didn’t want to rack their brains to make the narrative more logical.

La Ciencia busca supuestamente el bien de las personas pero pobres de aquellos que terminen siendo los conejillos de indias para concretar y obtener los resultados de un experimento 😐😐.

Les comparto el Trailer de la pelicula que justo refleja esa carencia de sentimientos de La Ciencia. Como humanos buscamos ser buenos pero La Ciencia quiere es explicar las cosas desechando muchas veces la moralidad de la humanidad para lograr su tambien muchas veces egoistas objetivos.

Pienso no hay heroes, hay cientificos villanos en esta historia donde algunos de ellos se mienten a si mismos al querer lograr el bien para la humanidad.

Es Monstruoso desafiar a Dios, esa intencion es la ciencia ficcion detras del liquido verde nucleo de esta historia y que hace posible todo lo que se desarrolla.

Detalles a criticar es que se le da muy bien la comedia pero mucho mejor se le da lo siniestro, es tanto asi que pienso las partes comicas es porque la misma historia no sabe explicarlas entonces se representaron de manera exagerada y a su vez como tributo a obras pasadas para disimular que no querian romperse el craneo para darle mas logica a lo que se queria contar.

Fortunately, the narrative pillar of Reanimation—which happens to be the film’s title—has its moment of putrid bodily climax. It might sound exaggerated, but believe me, the film depicted and executed on screen exactly what I just wrote.... For me, that climactic scene was the best part of the movie 🤯🤯

Barbara Clampton is powerful; it’s not my favorite movie of hers, but it gets the job done. The thing is, she isn’t fully integrated into the story, nor does she contribute to the scientific madness—she’s actually there to stop it, but of course… She doesn’t succeed, haha 😂😂. So I’m happy with her role as the damsel in distress, but I’ll always be left with the feeling that I wanted to see her as another deranged scientist 🥹🥹

Now, the one who more than delivers on that front is Jeffrey Combs 🤯🤯. Great movie, and for those of you who don’t know anything about these actors… Uuuuuf, get ready, because if you love this stuff, you’ve got a whole feast of gory movies to watch 😱😱

Afortunadamente el Pilar narrativo de la Reanimacion que justo le da titulo a esta pelicula tiene su momento de climax corporal putrefacto y se leera exagerado pero creanme que el film represento y ejecuto en escena lo que acabo de escribir.... Fue para mi lo mejor de la oelicula esa escena climax 🤯🤯

Barbara Clampton es potente, no es mi pelicula favorita de ella pero cumple, pasa que ella no esta unida, ni da continuidad a la locura cientifica, ella mas bien esta para detenerla pero claro.... No lo logra jaja 😂😂, entonces estoy contento con su rol de damisela en peligro pero me quedara siempre la sensacion de haberla querido ver como una cientifica desquiciada mas 🥹🥹

Ahora quien si cumple de sobra lo anterior es Jeffrey Combs 🤯🤯. Genial pelicula y para aquellos que no conocen nada de estos actores..... Uuuuuf preparense porque si les encanta esto, tienen todo un festin de peliculas sangrientas por ver 😱😱
