That night, before saying goodbye, two of the friends enter a store while the others wait outside; the store was being robbed and the assailants attack one of the friends and kill him while the other was hiding watching from afar the situation, months later they go on vacation, but with another purpose, to say goodbye to their deceased friend and make a ritual in his honor, what they do not know is that they will live the worst experience of their lives, after that ritual a series of unfortunate events begin to occur.

Los rituales nos hacen sentir mejor cada vez hacemos uno, por ejemplo un ritual de bodas nos da felicidad, un ritual de bautismo nos llena de fe y esperanza y un ritual de despedida de un ser no hace cerrar un capítulo, más aún si es en honor de algún ser querido que ya falleció, en eso centra la película el ritual en un grupo de amigos que se reúnen a cenar y deciden planificar donde pasaran sus próximas vacaciones, están envejeciendo y quieren vivir una aventura así que deciden ir de expedición a las montañas.

Esa noche, antes de despedirse, dos de los amigos entran a una tienda mientras los demás esperan afuera; la tienda la estaban robando y los asaltantes atacan a uno de los amigos lo asesinan mientras el otro se encontraba escondido mirando de lejos la situación, meses después van a las vacaciones, pero con otro fin, el de despedir a su amigo fallecido y hacer un ritual en su honor, lo que no saben es que vivirán la peor experiencia de sus vidas, después de ese ritual comienzan a ocurrir una serie de eventos desafortunados.

The beginning of the movie was terrifying because of the abrupt change of scenery, something that can happen in reality you are happy and suddenly your life becomes hell, having to struggle with the feeling of guilt and feeling like a coward because you did not react to save your friend is a difficult suffering to heal, in this film if we look beyond the plot and its context we can realize that it sends us a message to get rid of fear, because if we do not face it, it grows every day and can become a monster that paralyzes us, humiliates us and makes us live in darkness.

The forest and the darkness of the night is the perfect scenario for all the fears that we hide to emerge and if we feed them with fear worse, for several days the group of friends walk aimlessly lost between hills and the forest and begin to unveil in dreams that are nightmares their inner fears.

El comienzo de la película fue aterrador por el cambio brusco de escenario, algo que puede pasar en la realidad te encuentras feliz y de repente tu vida se convierte en un infierno, tener que luchar con el sentimiento de culpa y sentirte un cobarde porque no reaccionaste para salvar a tu amigo es un sufrimiento difícil de sanar, en esta película si miramos más allá de la trama y de su contexto nos podemos dar cuenta que nos envía un mensaje para deshacernos del miedo, ya que si no lo afrontamos este crece cada día y se puede convertir en un monstruo que nos paraliza, nos humilla y nos hace vivir en las tinieblas.

El bosque y la oscuridad de la noche es el escenario perfecto para que afloren todos los miedos que ocultamos y si los alimentamos con temor peor, durante varios días el grupo de amigos caminan sin rumbo perdidos entre colinas y el bosque y comienzan a develar en sueños que son pesadillas sus temores internos.

Opinion

While the group advances through the hills surrounded by large rocks, fog and cold instead of feeling a sense of peace and calm for the beautiful view, the music that at that moment has the film makes you feel that you are in a challenge, I felt anguish, an uncontrollable desire to move forward and get to where they had to get. I had to stop minutes after starting the movie because I had a tachycardia, so I drank water and relaxed, thank goodness I didn't see it in the theater.

Although it is a film of the horror and fiction genre, with something fantastic, what causes the terror are the inner fears of its characters, I am a faithful believer that movies come with a message to teach us something, the ritual is to overcome fear.

At the end of the film the protagonist struggles to not fall humiliated by fear, we can not judge others by how they decided to act in a situation when life is at risk, fear sometimes paralyzes us by choosing to preserve our life, there are also people whose reaction is different, they are able to fight and expose themselves to danger to help another person, even unknown, But a problem is generated when for lack of an appropriate reaction someone dies, then the guilt and the pointing out of others falls, you can not live under these emotions and feelings of remorse, the final message is that if we overcome the fear after the suffering comes a new dawn free and without fear.

Opinión

Mientras el grupo avanza por las colinas rodeadas de grandes rocas, neblina y frio en vez de sentir una sensación de paz y calma por la bonita vista, la música que en ese momento tiene la película te hace sentir que estás en un desafío, sentí angustia, un deseo incontrolable de que avanzaran y llegaran a donde tenían que llegar. Tuve que para minutos después de haber empezado porque tenía una taquicardia, así que tome agua y me relaje, menos mal que no la vi en el cine.

Aunque es una película del género de terror y ficción, con algo fantástico lo que causa el terror son los miedos internos de sus personajes, soy fiel creyente que las películas vienen con un mensaje para enseñarnos algo, el del ritual es vencer el miedo.

Al final de la película el protagonista lucha para no caer humillado ante el miedo, no podemos juzgar a otros por como decidieron actuar ante una situación cuando la vida está en riesgo el miedo a veces nos paraliza optando por preservar nuestra vida, también existen personas que su reacción es diferente que son capaces de luchar y de exponerse ante peligro por ayudar a otra persona incluso desconocida, pero se genera un problema cuando por falta de una reacción apropiada alguien muere, entonces recae la culpa y el señalamiento de los demás, no se puede vivir bajo estas emociones y sentimientos de remordimientos, el mensaje final es que si vencemos al miedo después del sufrimiento viene un nuevo amanecer libres y sin temor.
