If you saw Skinamarink and liked it (or even found it interesting) and you're looking for a movie with similar elements, check out the Outwaters.
The scenario is simple: a group of people go to a desert to shoot a video clip and then everything goes to hell. There aren't enough explanations, on purpose, the plot doesn't make sense in the usual way.
A dive into mundane horror that forgets the need for conventional storytelling and uses the found footage style to its advantage. There is intense gore, with dismemberment and other gruesome imagery, you know.
The first half is standard found footage, the second is content with scenes with minimal lighting and minimal narration. Approach with caution, it's a strange film.
I liked it, and in any case, even if I didn't like it, I could find enough interest in its structure. It is one of those films, like Skinamarink, that consider the conventional script as a comforting element, and throw it out the window to scare without offering any points of relaxation. After "art horror", the new trend of horror is probably starting to take shape.
I usually don’t like to watch thrillers it is not the kind of entertainment i seek but even in that genre there are movies worth spending my time watching and writing about ! Here is an imdb link to check out the cast:
