Hello all the lovers of cinema and series! Recently I prepared to see one of the series that were from my favorites when I was a girl and in fact, I could say that it is the only one I’ve seen from the saga Transformers. I remember that at that time, they transmitted it through national television and as was the series of the moment, a lot of us played or invented our own animal transformers, I even had a franchise toys. But, let me tell you a little about what the series is about Beast Wars.

In the plot there is an advanced alimpose life, robotic appearance called Transformers, which has been divided into sides due to different differences in ideas between them, but with time, they have managed to establish an apparent alliance. Everything starts when a group Predacons steal the Maximals, a golden album, which contains valuable information. During persecution, both ships are affected by a spatial phenomenon and before falling on a planet, the ships release some shelves containing protoforms, which are base robots that have not been scheduled, in order to avoid As a result, the ships of the maximals and the pedacons are stranded on the unknown planet, which they discover that it is a huge source of Energon, a kind of powerful and unstable mineral that affects its robotic forms. In order to explore, while trying to repair the ships, both maximals and Pedracons scan the nearby animals to adopt their shape. However, even being under these conditions, the conflict between both species is maintained, given that although there is an alliance, the Pedracons confer to the Maximals that, in turn, there was always the search for the perfect moment to attack. It is then when they declare themselves as enemy sides and the conflict began to call Beast Wars.

The good ones in the series are the Maximals, the first of these robots acquire the appearance of animals such as gorilla, cheetah, rhinoceros and rat. They can access their robotic shape at moments of attack or for recognition tasks that require it, although only for a few minutes, due to the energy fields. Normally your sentence to become “maximize”, although in the same series they mention that it is not necessary to say it to transform itself. The team leader is Primal Optimus, who adopts the animal form of a gorilla, is a flexible leader who thinks about the welfare of his own before his own. Constantly he has to deal with situations generated by the attitudes of his teammates, such as Cheetor, the cheetah and younger, usually mess in trouble due to his impulsive and rebellious behavior; Sometimes it will also join Rattrap, because at first it rebels before Optimus’s orders, considering that they are not accurate; It is quite smart and scathing, usually has to fight constant with Cheetor. The other member of the team is Rhinox, the scientist with a more centered attitude, who adopted the form of the rhinoceros, is a very friend of Rattrap and is responsible for developing programs and artifacts that help them at their stay on that planet. Throughout the episodes, the maximals will find new protoforms on the ground, which will join their troops.

The Predacons therefore, are the villains of history. His keyword when it comes to being transformed is to “terrorize”. They are led by Megatron, whose animal form is that of a Tyrannosaurus Rex, although several of the members of his group have planned to overthrow and take over, at the first opportunity. The first to do so as soon as they touch Earth is Dinobot, the velocirrapor, not hesitating in challenging it to obtain the mandate about the precaons and the survival mission. The others who are part of the predacons are: Terrorsaur, the pterodactyl, is considered the second command and does not hesitate to take advantage of any chance to be done with power; Scorponok, the scorpion, is faithful to megatron, although it is of little intelligence; and Tarantula, who becomes the animal of his name, this is the scientist of the troop, although his experiments and plans always have a sinister intention hidden. As with the maximals, as time passes, they find new comrades.

Both sides should not only the way to survive the environment that could end them, repair their respective ships, as well as to prevent the other from seizing the energon and meeting the adjacent mysteries on the planet. When I saw her again after years, they stirred in me, feelings of nostalgia, but in spite of that, I consider that the series is pretty good, since it managed to get hooked from the first moment, since history is not only interesting, but the characters have personalities Obviously, for the current standards, aesthetically no longer looks like ha ha still, I think it looks incredible to be a series of the 90s, especially the transformations of the robots. Another of his strengths or at least, according to me, is the soundtrack, since it is sticky and according to the action scenes … talking about that, while I saw the series with my sister, it caused me a lot of grace one of his comments “but it is that no one has good point Although I am not a fanatics of Transformers, nor will I attract the themes of robots or this type, I confess that this is one of my favorite series, both of my childhood and now in the present. I recommend it if you like this type of theme and more of the retro series, although a lot of the jokes are already out of fashion ha ha.

Hace poco me dispuse a volver a ver una de las series que eran de mis favoritas cuando era niña y de hecho, podría decir que es la única que he visto de la saga Transformers. Recuerdo que en aquel tiempo, la transmitían a través de la televisión nacional y como era la serie del momento, mucho de nosotros jugábamos o inventábamos nuestros propios transformers animales, incluso llegué a tener juguetes de la franquicia. Pero, déjenme que les comente un poco de qué trata la serie Beast Wars.

En la trama existen una vida aliénigena avanzada, de apariencia robótica llamada Transformers, la cual se ha dividido en bandos debido a distintas diferencias de ideas entre ellos, pero que con e tiempo, han logrado establecer una aparente alianza. Todo comienza cuando un grupo Predacons le roban a los Maximals, un disco dorado, el cual contiene información valiosa. Durante la persecución, ambas naves se ven afectadas por un fenómeno espacial y antes de caer en un planeta, las naves liberan unas cáspulas que contienen protoformas, las cuales son robots base que no han sido programados, con el fin de evitar su destrucción ante el aterrizaje. Como resultado, las naves de los Maximals y los Pedracons quedan varadas en el planeta desconocido, el cual descubren que es una fuente enorme de Energón, una especie de mineral poderoso e inestable que afecta sus formas robóticas. Para poder explorar, mientras tratan de reparar las naves, tanto Maximals como Pedracons escanean los animales cercanos para adoptar su forma. Sin embargo, aún estando en esas condiciones, el conflicto entre ambas especies se mantiene, dado que a pesar de que existe una alianza, los Pedracons le confiesan a los Maximals que en fondo, por su parte siempre existió la búsqueda del momento perfecto para atacar. Es entonces cuando se declaran como bandos enemigos y comienza el conflicto al que llaman Beast Wars.

Los buenos de la serie, son los Maximals, los primeros de estos robots adquieren la apariencia de animales como el gorila, guepardo, rinoceronte y rata. Pueden acceder a su forma robótica en momentos de ataque o para tareas de reconocimiento que lo requieran, aunque sólo por unos minutos, debido a los campos de Energón. Normalmente su frase para convertirse es "Maximizar", aunque en la misma serie mencionan que no es necesario decirlo para transformarse. El líder del equipo es Optimus Primal, quien adopta la forma animal de un gorila, es un líder flexible que piensa en el bienestar de los suyos antes que el propio. Constantemente tiene que lidiar con situaciones generadas por las actitudes de sus compañeros de equipo, como Cheetor, el guepardo y más joven, suele meterse en líos debido a su comportamiento impulsivo y rebelde; en ocasiones también se le unirá Rattrap, pues al principio se rebela ante las órdenes de Optimus, al considerar que no son acertadas; es bastante inteligente y mordaz, suele tener pelear constantes con Cheetor. El otro miembro del equipo es Rhinox, el científico con actitud más centrada, quién adoptó la forma del rinoceronte, es muy amigo de Rattrap y se encarga de elaborar programas y artefactos que los ayuden en su estadía en aquel planeta. A lo largo de los episodios, los Maximals irán encontrando nuevas protoformas en los terrenos, los cuales se unirán a sus tropas.

Los Predacons por tanto, son los villanos de la historia. Su palabra clave a la hora de transformarse es "Aterrorizar". Son liderados por Megatron, cuya forma animal es la de un Tiranosaurio Rex, aunque varios de los miembros de su grupo tengan pensado derrocarlo y hacerse con el mando, a la primera oportunidad. El primero en hacerlo en cuanto tocan tierra es Dinobot, el Velocirraptor, no dudando en retarlo para obtener el mandato sobre los Predacons y de la misión de supervivencia. Los otros que forman parte de los Predacons son: Terrorsaur, el Pterodáctilo, se considera el segundo al mando y no duda en aprovechar cualquier chance para hacerse con el poder; Scorponok, el escorpión, es fiel a Megatrón, aunque es de poca inteligencia; y Tarántula, quien se convierte en el animal de su nombre, éste es el científico de la tropa, aunque sus experimentos y planes siempre tienen una intención siniestra oculta. Al igual que con los Maximals, a medida que pasa el tiempo, van encontrando nuevos camaradas.

Ambos bandos deberán no sólo la forma de sobrevivir al ambiente que podía acabar con ellos, reparar sus respectivas naves, así como evitar que el otro se apodere del Energón y encontrándose con los misterios adyacentes en el planeta. Al volver a verla luego de años, se removieron en mí, sentimientos de nostalgia, pero a pesar de eso, considero que la serie es bastante buena, ya que la misma logró engancharme desde el primer momento, ya que la historia no sólo es interesante, sino que los personajes tienen personalidades atractivas. Obviamente, para los estandares actuales, estéticamente ya no se ve tan bien ja ja aún así, considero que se ve increíble para ser una serie de los años 90, sobretodo las transformaciones de los robots. Otro de sus puntos fuertes o al menos, según mi parecer, es la banda sonora, ya que la misma es pegajosa y acorde para las escenas de acción... hablando de eso, mientras veía la serie con mi hermana, me causó mucha gracia uno de sus comentarios "pero es que ninguno tiene buena puntería", siendo que a pesar de tener armas avanzadas, en la mayoría de las batallas era muy poco lo que daban al blanco. Aunque no soy fanática de Transformers, ni me atraigan los temas de robots ni de éste tipo, confieso que esta se trata de una de mis series favoritas, tanto de mi infancia como ahora en el presente. Se las recomiendo si les gusta éste tipo de temática y más de las series retro, aunque mucho de los chistes ya estén fuera de moda ja ja
