I'm a little behind on dandadan. I watched episode 5 yesterday and found that I was smiling through most of the episode, which for me is honestly a surprise. I've watched several anime throughout my life (more than I like to admit, truth be told) and I've already lost a bit of sensitivity in the medium, however, as I've said before, every once in a while an anime comes along that I genuinely enjoy and not simply entertain me. An anime that I'm excited to watch because it makes me feel happy and relieved and not because of the intrigue of what's going to happen next episode. And by this I don't mean that I don't like anime that keep me on the edge of my seat in suspense and waiting every week for an answer, rather they are the ones I watch the most, but sometimes when I get tired and late from work, the best thing to do is to get something that makes you smile and laugh with a silly joke.
Voy un poco atrasado en dandadan. Ayer vi el capitulo 5 y me di cuenta de que me la pasé sonriendo durante casi todo el capítulo, lo que para mi es, sinceramente, una sorpresa. He visto varios animes a lo largo de mi vida (más de los que me gusta admitir, la verdad) y ya he perdido un poco la sensibilidad en el medio, sin embargo, como lo he dicho antes, de vez en cuando aparece un anime que genuinamente disfruto y no simplemente me entretiene. Un anime que me emociona ver porque me hace sentir feliz y aliviado y no por la intriga de que va a pasar el siguiente episodio. Y con esto no quiero decir que no me gusten los animes que me tienen al borde del asiento en suspenso y esperando cada semana una respuesta, más bien son los que más veo, pero a veces al llegar cansado y tarde del trabajo, lo mejor es conseguir algo que te haga sonreír y reír con un chiste tonto.
I watch Dandadan in latin spanish, just as I did when I watched dingeon meshi, because I used both anime to distract myself from how heavy life can be from time to time. Both anime have a latin adaptation by netflix and I have to say that netflix is great at translating anime, because I also had this pleasant experience with Pluto. Similarly, what I feel with Dandadan is not only because of the language, although the translation is being too much fun, but because sometimes I feel like an anime that can be on cartoon network, an anime that drinks a lot of western culture but still does not lose the characteristic Japanese touch.
Veo Dandadan en español latino, así como tambien lo hice cuando vi dingeon meshi, porque los dos animes los usaba para distraerme de lo pesada que puede ser la vida de vez en cuando. Los dos animes tienen una adaptación al latino por parte de netflix y tengo que decir que netflix es magnífico para traducir animes, porque esta grata experiencia también me la lleve con Pluto. De igual forma, lo que siento con Dandadan no es solo por el idioma, aunque la traducción está siendo demasiado divertida, sino porque a veces lo siento como un anime que puede salir en cartoon network, un anime que bebe mucho de la cultura occidental pero que aun así no pierde el toque japonés característico.
It reminds me a bit of Mob psycho, which was also shown on cartoon network, or Regular show, because it's as random as that series. Dandadan is very interesting and makes me want to talk not about how well produced it is, being such a nice work to watch with a team behind it that you can tell is very excited about anime, but how it makes me feel, how it manages to keep me for twenty minutes with a smile painted on my face for the simple fact of being a romantic comedy in such a pure and cute way. Thus, Dandadan has possibly become my favorite anime of the year and a comfort anime that I am sure I will watch more than once.
Me recuerda un poco a Mob psycho, que también lo llegaron a pasar en cartoon network, o también, a Regular show, porque es tan random como esa serie. Dandadan es muy interesante y me hace querer hablar no de lo bien producida que está, al ser un trabajo tan lindo de ver con un equipo detrás que se ve que está muy emocionado con el anime, sino de cómo me hace sentir, de cómo logra mantenerme durante veinte minutos con una sonrisa pintada en la cara por el simple hecho de ser una comedia romántica de una forma tan pura y linda. Así, Dandadan se ha convertido posiblemente en mi anime favorito del año y un anime confort que estoy seguro de que veré más de una vez.
