Feliz domingo, gente de Scrobble. Hoy quiero compartirles esta gran película que seguro para muchos fans ha sido una larga espera, pero cuando la estrenaron fue muy grato.
¡Oye Arnold! era una serie de Nickelodeon que trataba sobre un niño con cabeza de balón, básicamente los capítulos tocaban la vida de varios de sus amigos y familiares como también la suya.
Si no la conocen, tienen que verla, era muy buena para su tiempo, además de que no solo era una caricatura y daba risa, sino que también tenía aprendizajes ocultos que luego ya más grande me pude percatar.
Ahora sí comencemos.
🎬 Un poco de contexto
Para comprender mejor la película no es tan necesario que hayas visto toda la serie porque la misma peli cuenta de nuevo parte de la historia de Arnold y sus padres.
Arnold es un adolescente muy responsable y aplicado en la escuela. Justo surgió un concurso donde el premio era un viaje con todo pagado a San Lorenzo. Esto le llamó mucho la atención porque resultaba ser el lugar donde sus padres habían ido y del que no habían regresado.
Él muy ilusionado decide participar en el concurso enviando un video de todas las acciones sociales que había hecho, con ayuda de sus amigos, logra mandarlo a tiempo y para su sorpresa ganan este viaje.
Pero si nos vamos un poco a la historia de sus padres, ellos eran dos investigadores a los que les gustaba viajar y conocer nuevas culturas. Se habían conocido en uno de sus viajes, se enamoraron y terminaron casándose.
Eran muy buenos profesionales que siempre trataban de ayudar a los lugareños, porque visitaban varios países, conocían su cultura, a su gente y todo lo plasmaban en su diario.
Así fue como Arnold encontró este diario, donde conoció un poco mejor a sus padres, porque él los había perdido desde que era un bebé y sólo vivía con sus abuelos e inquilinos.
En este diario se enteró de que ellos solían visitar San Lorenzo y conocían a la tribu de "Los Ojos Verdes", los ayudaron varias veces en temas de salud.
Llegó el día y Arnold y todos los niños de su clase emprendieron el viaje a este lugar ubicado en Centroamérica, el viaje fue algo largo e incómodo y justo cuando estaban por llegar se encontraron con un grupo de ladrones que querían robarles las cosas, pero gracias a un lugareño pudieron salvarse.
Él se presentó como Eduardo y de inmediato reconoció a Arnold porque dijo que conoció a sus padres. Él los guió hasta llegar a su destino, mientras tanto le contaba a Arnold historias sobre sus padres, según él sus padres no volvieron más de ese lugar donde se encontraba la tribu de Los Ojos Verdes, pero que si quería ir a buscarlos él podía ayudarlo.
Esto causó un gran predicamento en Arnold, porque si iba a buscarlos, iba a enfrentar muchos obstáculos y no quería poner en peligro a sus compañeros. Pero necesitaba saber qué pasó con sus padres y aún tenía la esperanza de que estuvieran con vida.
Así que durante toda la película tratará de buscar y encontrar respuestas respecto a lo que pasó con sus padres.

♥ Lo que más me gustó
Los fans sabemos lo mucho que hemos esperado cerrar toda esta historia porque había quedado algo inconclusa y siempre nos prometían la película de lo que les pasó a los padres de Arnold. Y después de tanto tiempo pudieron sacarla.
A mí siempre me ha gustado esta serie, creo que he visto todos los capítulos, la mayoría me han gustado mucho. En algunos capítulos se ha tratado la historia de sus padres o se los ha mencionado, pero nunca se supo a ciencia cierta qué fue lo que pasó.
Desde el principio podemos ver que Helga, la niña que siempre le ha molestado porque está enamorada de él, lo ayuda a ganar ese concurso porque realmente siente un gran amor, algo obsesivo, por Arnold.
Después de que el primer concurso terminara en caos, pero Helga un día antes decide ayudarlo editando los millones de videos que tenía sobre Arnold para mostrar todo lo que él había hecho por su comunidad, desde ayudar a animales, árboles hasta ayudar a sus amigos, vecinos y su ciudad.
Es muy bonito ver esa relación entre ambos, ella tratando de ocultar su amor por él tratándolo muy mal, y Arnold pensando que lo odiaba a morir jeje, para luego darse cuenta de todos los sentimientos que tenía. Esto también se ve durante toda la serie, hasta en la otra película se lo confiesa, pero por diferentes circunstancias termina ignorándolo.
Pero en esta película podemos ver que no sólo Helga se declara, sino que también se besan y finalmente quedan juntos, la verdad esto lo venía esperando desde siempre y creía que iba a ser sólo un amor obsesivo. Es una de mis escenas favoritas ver cómo Helga hasta el último momento ayudó a Arnold, porque siempre quiso que él fuera feliz.
Además, ayuda a salvar a sus padres con su relicario, lo que obviamente también provoca nuevos sentimientos en Arnold. Tal parece que ya todos sabían los sentimientos de Helga, pero él único que no lo sabía era Arnold, en esas cosas era muy despistado jeje.
Y la escena que más me conmovió fue ver que los padres de Arnold estaban vivos, en un sueño profundo desde hacía mucho tiempo, pero tenían pulso. Esto les había pasado a todos los adultos de esta tribu por una rara enfermedad provocada por una planta, y es por eso que sus padres viajaron hasta ahí para ayudarlos porque eso ya había pasado antes, pero esta última vez no pudieron evitar que también fueran afectados.
Entonces estaba escrito en los muros del pueblo que un niño cabeza de balón iba a lograr salvarlos, y así pasa, Arnold logra abrir una fuente enorme donde estaba el antídoto para esa enfermedad y con el dije de Helga lo logra.
El antídoto llega hasta donde estaban los padres de Arnold y despiertan al fin, logran encontrarse después de tantos años, porque cuando se fueron él era aún un bebé así que no tenía muchos recuerdos de ellos.
Esa escena te parte el alma, pero también cuando vuelven a casa y Arnold parece que despierta de este gran sueño que parecía haber tenido, pero al entrar al comedor ve que sus padres sí estaban ahí y que todo lo que había pasado era real.
Esta película cerró muchas cosas que desde hace tiempo teníamos en el tintero y más los que seguimos la serie desde sus inicios. Fue conmovedor, nostálgico, pero también feliz ver finalizar esta linda serie.
Si te gustaba la serie y no viste la película, te ordeno que la veas jeje porque no solo recordarás esos tiempos cuando lo veías, sino también podrás saber qué pasó con los padres de Arnold y cómo termina su relación con Helga.
💭 Lo que me hizo pensar
Esta serie tiene muchas cosas interesantes para analizar, por ejemplo, el amor que tenía Helga hacia Arnold, en un principio pensaba que era algo obsesivo y hasta enfermo jeje pero, si te detienes a verlo mejor puedes ver que lo único que ella quería era verlo feliz.
Hizo tantas cosas por él que quizá nunca se dio cuenta, pero siempre estaba ahí para él. Es una linda historia de amor, espero que continúe jeje porque también hay un capítulo donde se muestra qué pasaría si ellos terminan juntos y fue muy bonito.
Arnold siempre ha sido un niño muy bueno y solidario con todos, a veces hasta ha dejado de lado su propio bienestar por ayudar a alguien que lo necesite. Aunque a veces creo que sí es exagerado lo que hace por los demás, pero creo que así lo criaron sus abuelos y también influyó el hecho de no tener a sus padres con él.
Creo que esa es una razón por la que siempre me ha gustado esta serie, además de que como les decía puedes aprender muchas cosas si las analizas mejor, si bien es una caricatura estadounidense, hay muchas cosas que de igual forma se aplican a nuestras familias.
Ahora, si no han visto la serie, se las recomiendo, yo suelo ver en vivos por Facebook de sus capítulos, pero no sé si hay otro lugar para ver todo completo, se los dejo de tarea jeje.

Happy Sunday, Scrobble people. Today I want to share with you this great movie that for many fans has surely been a long wait, but when it was released, it was very pleasant.
Hey Arnold! was a Nickelodeon series about a boy with a football-shaped head; basically, the episodes covered the lives of several of his friends and family members as well as his own.
If you don't know it, you have to watch it, it was very good for its time, and not only was it a cartoon that made you laugh, but it also had hidden lessons that I later realized as I grew older.
Now, let's get started.
🎬 A bit of context
To better understand the movie, it is not so necessary that you have seen the entire series because the movie itself recounts part of Arnold's story and his parents' story again.
Arnold is a very responsible and diligent teenager at school. A contest just came up where the prize was an all-expenses-paid trip to San Lorenzo. This caught his attention a lot because it turned out to be the place where his parents had gone and from which they had not returned.
He, very excited, decides to participate in the contest by sending a video of all the social actions he had done. With the help of his friends, he manages to send it on time, and to his surprise, they win this trip.
But if we delve a bit into the story of his parents, they were two researchers who loved to travel and explore new cultures. They had met on one of their trips, fell in love, and ended up getting married.
They were very good professionals who always tried to help the locals, because they visited various countries, got to know their culture, their people, and they recorded everything in their journal.
That's how Arnold found this diary, where he got to know his parents a little better, because he had lost them since he was a baby and only lived with his grandparents and tenants.
In this diary, he learned that they used to visit San Lorenzo and knew the tribe of "The Green Eyes," and they helped them several times with health issues.
The day arrived, and Arnold and all the children in his class set off on the journey to this place located in Central America. The trip was somewhat long and uncomfortable, and just as they were about to arrive, they encountered a group of thieves who wanted to rob them. But thanks to a local, they were able to save themselves.
He introduced himself as Eduardo and immediately recognized Arnold because he said he knew his parents. He guided them to their destination, meanwhile telling Arnold stories about his parents. ♥ What I liked the most
Fans know how much we have waited to close this whole story because it was left somewhat unfinished, and they always promised us the movie about what happened to Arnold's parents. And after so much time, they were able to release it.
I've always liked this series, I think I've seen all the episodes, and most of them I liked a lot. In some episodes, the story of his parents has been addressed or they have been mentioned, but it was never definitively known what happened.
From the beginning, we can see that Helga, the girl who has always bothered him because she is in love with him, helps him win that contest because she truly feels a great, somewhat obsessive love for Arnold.
After the first contest ended in chaos, Helga decided to help him the day before by editing the millions of videos she had about Arnold to show everything he had done for his community, from helping animals and trees to helping his friends, neighbors, and his city.
It's very nice to see that relationship between them, her trying to hide her love for him by treating him very badly, and Arnold thinking she hated him to death haha, only to later realize all the feelings she had. This is also seen throughout the entire series, even in the other movie she confesses it to him, but due to different circumstances, she ends up ignoring him.
But in this movie, we can see that not only does Helga confess her feelings, but they also kiss and finally end up together. Honestly, I had been waiting for this forever and thought it would only be an obsessive love. It's one of my favorite scenes to see how Helga helped Arnold until the very end, because she always wanted him to be happy.
Additionally, she helps save her parents with her locket, which obviously also provokes new feelings in Arnold. It seems that everyone already knew Helga's feelings, but the only one who didn't was Arnold; he was very oblivious to those things, haha.
And the scene that moved me the most was seeing that Arnold's parents were alive, in a deep sleep for a long time, but they had a pulse. This had happened to all the adults in this tribe due to a rare disease caused by a plant, and that's why his parents traveled there to help them because it had happened before, but this time they couldn't prevent them from being affected as well.
So it was written on the walls of the village that a boy with a head like a ball would manage to save them, and so it happens, Arnold manages to open a huge fountain where the antidote for that disease was, and with Helga's locket, he succeeds.
The antidote reaches where Arnold's parents were, and they finally wake up. They manage to reunite after so many years because when they left, he was still a baby, so he didn't have many memories of them.
That scene breaks your heart, but also when they return home and Arnold seems to wake up from this great dream he seemed to have had, but upon entering the dining room, he sees that his parents were indeed there and that everything that had happened was real.
This movie closed many things that we had been putting off for a long time, especially for those of us who have followed the series since its beginnings. It was moving, nostalgic, but also happy to see this lovely series come to an end.

💭 What made me think
This series has many interesting things to analyze, for example, the love Helga had for Arnold. At first, I thought it was somewhat obsessive and even sick, haha, but if you take a closer look, you can see that all she wanted was to see him happy.
She did so many things for him that he might never have realized, but she was always there for him. It's a beautiful love story, I hope it continues hehe because there's also an episode that shows what would happen if they end up together and it was very nice.
Arnold has always been a very good and supportive boy to everyone, sometimes even putting aside his own well-being to help someone in need. Although sometimes I think he does go overboard with what he does for others, I believe his grandparents raised him that way and the fact that he didn't have his parents with him also influenced him.
I think that's one reason why I've always liked this series, besides the fact that, as I was saying, you can learn many things if you analyze them better. Even though it's an American cartoon, there are many things that also apply to our families.
