I'm probably one of the last people on earth watching this movie. I like making movie reviews immediately after watching the movie; this way, the emotions I got from the movie are still very fresh and intact. Join me as I unravel the movie Shazam: fury of the gods. Left to me, I would have watched this movie next year as I saw the first part of this movie(released in 2019) last year.

Shazam is a movie based on Dc comic characters. The movie begins in an art museum. There's this serenity yet eeriness about art museums that hold ancient fossils and artefacts. Two sisters walk into the museum and head directly for a broken staff. Immediately they lay their hands on the staff, energy surges through their veins.
[Source](https://youtu.be/Zi88i4CpHe4)Billy Batson(Shazam) on the other hand,was given great power by a wizard but Billy wasn't given any form of tutorial as to how to use these powers. Like they say, with great power, comes great responsibility. Billy does a noble deed when he shares his power among his fellow foster siblings. The power of Shazam makes kids turn to adults and with this, they find it hard to juggle their teenage lives with the adult hero alter ego. Imagine being a kid with an adult alter ego. Sounds intense right?.
Billy alongside his foster siblings do what super heros know how to do best; save lives. Their boring schedule of saving lives comes to an end when they face a greater challenge. The three daughters of Atlas ; Hespera, Kalypso and Anthea come to avenge their father and take back their fathers powers. Things go sideways as Kalypso is blinded with vengeance and she wants to bring the human world to its knees. Anyone who was bold enough to stand in her way, suffered the wrath; including her sisters.
Billy, who thought he was an unworthy and useless superhero, eventually finds a way to put an end to Kalypso's madness. Prior to this time, he usually went on superhero trips with all his siblings but he took the mission to end Kalypso upon himself.
Review
This movie was a jumble of actions and reactions. I like the fact the movie pointed out the importance of family and unison. The superhero pack used the line "all or none" and that portrays unity.
The movie also made it clear that vengeance can envelop you and it's always better to choose the path of forgiveness lest you lose yourself .
A part that stood out for me was when Freddy(one of the superheros) goes out of his way to save Anthea (one of the atlas sisters). This particular scene was very emotional. You could literally see him struggling to beat the force that Kalypso was applying.
This was definitely better than the first Shazam I saw. The graphics, the action, the soundtrack and the comic scenes too. I liked the part where Wonder Woman showed up and Billy was so flustered; it was a cute scene indeed.
There was a part that I felt was very unnecessary. In this part, the youngest of the superheroes controls a unicorn to fight against the other monsters which Kalypso had summoned to the human world, but we didn't see the fight. They just showed us a scene where the unicorn took down the first monster and that was it for the unicorn and the monsters.
This was a two hour movie and I didn't even know when I finished watching the movie. The series of actions kept me glued to my screen. I'd definitely recommend this movie to anyone and everyone.
