Hey everyone! I hope you're all doing well. I recently finished watching the latest season of Rick and Morty, and the website immediately suggested this new spin-off series that promises to expand the Rick and Morty universe, but this time showing something different from a fresh perspective. I watched it quickly, since it only has two episodes so far, which are being released on Sundays, and I wanted to come and tell you about it right away because I really think you should check it out and catch up.

Recientemente, acabo de terminar de ver la última temporada de Rick y Morty y, rápidamente, la página me sugirió esta nueva serie spin-off que promete expandir el universo de Rick y Morty, pero esta vez mostrando algo diferente sobre el mismo desde un nuevo punto de vista. Rápidamente lo vi, ya que actualmente tiene solo 2 episodios, los cuales se están estrenando los días domingo, y quise venir rápidamente a contarles sobre esta, porque de verdad creo que es necesario que te animes a verla y que te pongas al día.
President Curtis (played by Keith David) is a character from the series Rick and Morty, obviously the President of the United States, and a familiar face to the show's famous characters. Those of us who are fans of the series know him very well, and he's a beloved character known for his authoritarian yet humorous style, so there's no problem with this new entertainment offering. This series promises to show us the best adventures of the famous character alongside his close-knit team, who are indeed new to the Rick and Morty universe.
El presidente Curtis (interpretado por Keith David) es un personaje de la serie Rick y Morty, obviamente el presidente de los EE. UU., y un conocido de los famosos personajes. Quienes somos seguidores de esta serie lo conocemos muy bien, y es un personaje querido por su forma autoritaria pero divertida, por lo que no hay un problema en esta propuesta nueva para el entretenimiento. En esta serie nos prometen mostrarnos las mejores aventuras del famoso personaje junto a su equipo cercano de trabajo, los cuales sí son nuevos en el universo de Rick y Morty.
Obviously, given the plot within the Rick and Morty universe, we know what exists both on and off Earth. But what sets Rick and Morty apart is President Curtis's routine, where these beings are seen as threats, creating a different atmosphere. Obviously, I can't say yet if I liked it, since with only two episodes so far, it hasn't fully developed its premise, but it's worth mentioning that the two available episodes are very funny and, if you ask me, quite controversial. They parody some of the most well-known conspiracy theories with the biting humor that characterizes this universe.
Obviamente, con la trama dentro del universo de Rick y Morty, se sabe lo que existe fuera del planeta y dentro de él. Pero lo que diferencia a Rick y Morty es la rutina del presidente Curtis, en donde se pueden ver estos seres como amenazas, dándole otro tipo de ambiente. Obviamente, no puedo decir aún si me gustó, pues este apenas con sus dos episodios no termina de darnos su propuesta, pero sí es oportuno mencionar que los dos episodios disponibles están muy divertidos y realmente algo polémicos, si me preguntan. Pues estos nos muestran con mucha parodia algunas de las teorías de conspiración más conocidas con el humor ácido que caracteriza este universo.
This series is here to expand the Rick and Morty universe and show us there's still more to the story. This comes alongside recent statements from its creator, who intends to continue expanding what we know as Rick and Morty. At least in its first episode, the "Pilot," President Curtis finds himself embroiled in problems related to the moon landing, and from this point on, it's clear they're going all out with their comedy. It's also worth noting how the atmosphere of the series is widely comparable to that of "Inside Job," especially in its plot development and the introduction of new characters.
Esta serie está llegando para expandir el universo de Rick y Morty y para mostrarnos que aún hay más que contar. Esto viene junto a las recientes declaraciones de su creador, en donde buscan expandir sin detenerse lo que se conoce como Rick y Morty. Por lo menos, en su primer episodio “Piloto”, el presidente Curtis se aventura en unos problemas relacionados con el alunizaje, y desde aquí se muestra que van con todo en su comedia. También es digno de mención el cómo el ambiente que se maneja en la serie es ampliamente comparable con la serie “Inside Job”, especialmente en cómo se desarrolla su trama y los nuevos personajes presentes.
