Nobita es un niño estudiante de primaria que en algún momento recibe la extraña visita de un gato cósmico, aunque al inicio Nobita cree que es un mapache, este gato de inmenso poder lo advierte sobre el futuro, ya que él tiene tendencia a la mala suerte, así que desde ese momento Doraemon se vuelve su amigo y guardián, evitando que se meta en dificultades, aconsejándolo y resolviendo muchos de sus problemas con ayuda de sus superpoderes cósmicos.

Pero hablando de los objetos mágicos de Doraemon ¿Qué me dicen ustedes del pañuelo del tiempo? Este objeto podía envejecer o rejuvenecer a personas, objetos y animales, era simplemente épico 😄 creo que Doraemon era la solución a todos los problemas de la humanidad, claro, siempre y cuando todo saliera como estaba planeado. ¿Cuál es tu objeto favorito de los que tiene el gato cósmico en su bolsillo mágico?

Me gusta el hecho de que Nobita no es un protagonista perfecto, de hecho es torpe, perezoso y desastroso, en pocas palabras alguien destinado al fracaso, lo cual rompía por completo con el molde preestablecido de los mangas de la época en la que este fue creado (los años 70) los protagonistas debían ser fuertes e independientes, sin embargo Fujiko F. Fujio (uno de los creadores de Doraemon) decidió inspirarse en su propia niñez para crear a Nobita, lo cual le da un toque extra de realidad al personaje porque realmente es así, los niños no son perfectos y hay unos que necesitan más guía que otros, pero al final de cuentas Nobita aprende a sacar su fuerza interior y mostrar sus mejores cualidades porque por encima de todo valora el esfuerzo de Doraemon.

El anime resalta valores como la amistad, el compañerismo y el hecho de no rendirse ante las adversidades, exalta la perseverancia y el aprendizaje mediante las experiencias vividas y una de las cosas que recuerdo con especial cariño era la canción del Ending la cuál trataba sobre cuidar el planeta y luchar por construir un futuro mejor para las nuevas generaciones, era simplemente hermoso.

En fin, es una ánime digno de recordar, o conocer, si nunca lo has visto, es dinámico y hasta tierno en muchas ocasiones, son tantas las situaciones hilarantes y divertidas las que suceden que resulta imposible aburrirse, así que lo recomiendo totalmente. Hi Everyone,

Bangkok’s ICONSIAM is hosting the 100% Doraemon & Friends Tour from May 1 to June 22, 2025, and it’s a dream for fans of this famous cat. The event spans both indoor and outdoor zones outside at River Park with the giant 12-meter inflatable Doraemon and over 90 life-sized figures all lined up including a special Thai-themed one for this event.

Upstairs, the 6th floor hosts the manga art exhibition which I didn’t go and see which has the original sketches by the illustrator Fujiko F. Fujio, gadget replicas, full-volume manga displays, and even a re-creation of Nobita’s bedroom as advertised for visitors. It’s a great place for Doremon lovers to take photos with their favourite characters. There is also a themed cafe and merch store indoors and only ticket holders can attend which can be purchased online.

ICONSIAM is a little bit out of the way for most but it is worth the trip if you are a super fan and can grab a bite afterwards in the centre to spend the rest of the day.

The Savage Curtain (S03E22)

The final season of Star Trek: The Original Series (TOS) is often dismissed as a period of decline, a time when the show’s foundational vision began to fray under the pressures of network scrutiny and the limitations of its time. However, this season, which aired in 1968, is not uniformly a disaster. While many episodes of the final season are widely regarded as underwhelming, several stand out as moments of unexpected quality or as pivotal precursors to the broader Star Trek universe. Among these, The Savage Curtain—an episode that originally aired near the end of the series—holds a unique place. Though it is not a masterpiece, it is a rare example of a TOS episode that managed to lay the groundwork for future Star Trek stories, even if it fails to meet the high standards of its own era.

The plot of The Savage Curtain begins with the USS Enterprise exploring the volcanic planet Excalbia, a world where the crew notices strange, carbon-based life forms that defy known science. The episode’s twist comes when the ship’s screen displays a startling image: President Abraham Lincoln (played by actor Lee Bergere), materialises in space and is beamed aboard the Enterprise. Kirk, a man who deeply admires Lincoln, treats the apparition as a real historical figure, even going so far as to have his crew don dress uniforms. However, not all crew members share this view—McCoy, for instance, suspects Lincoln is an impostor.

The episode’s central conflict arises when Lincoln, after a brief interaction with the ship’s crew, leads Kirk and Spock to the surface of Excalbia. There, they meet Yarnek (voiced by Janos Prohaska), a rock-like inhabitant of the planet, and Surak (Barry Atwater), a Vulcan spiritual leader from ancient history. Yarnek explains that the Enterprise is in danger: the planet’s inhabitants, who are highly advanced, have devised a test to determine whether the “Good” is superior to the “Evil.” The Enterprise will be destroyed unless Kirk, Spock, Lincoln, and Surak fight a team of legendary historical figures: Kahless the Unforgettable (a Klingon Empire founder, played by Nathan Jung), Genghis Khan (a Mongol chieftain, played by Robert Herron), Zora of Tiburon (an evil scientist, Carol Daniels Dement), and Colonel Green (a 21st-century Earth genocidal militia leader, played by Philip Pine). The stakes are clear: the outcome of this “gladiatorial” contest will determine the fate of the planet and, by extension, the Enterprise.

This setup, while ambitious, is marred by inconsistencies and a lack of narrative cohesion. The episode’s origins are as intriguing as its execution. Originally conceived in 1964 by Gene Roddenberry, the episode’s outline was inspired by a Greek philosopher, Socrates, visiting the Enterprise and engaging in a philosophical battle with historical figures. However, as the show’s cancellation loomed, the script was rewritten to take on a quasi-satirical tone, echoing the “bread and circuses” mentality of NBC programs of the time. The final script, re-written by Arthur Heinemann, stripped away the original philosophical depth, turning the episode into a spectacle for entertainment. This evolution is evident in the final product: the episode’s premise is a parody of the “ultra-powerful aliens force Kirk to fight gladiatorial combat” trope that defined many TOS episodes, including Arena.

The episode’s opening is a baffling cold open: Lincoln floating in space, a scene that seems more like a joke than a serious narrative device. The mystery of Lincoln’s apparition is quickly resolved, and the episode veers into a rehash of the “gladiatorial combat” formula. The fight scenes, while visually staged with some flair, are underwhelming and lack the tension or stakes of earlier TOS episodes. The resolution, in which Kirk’s team defeats the antagonists, is predictably in his favor but feels anti-climactic, as if the episode’s creators were more concerned with spectacle than storytelling.

Despite these flaws, the episode has its moments. The performances by Lee Bergere and Philip Pine stand out. Bergere’s Lincoln is a charismatic, idealistic figure, embodying the 1960s Boomer audience’s view of the “Great Emancipator” as a symbol of progress and freedom. Pine’s Colonel Green, meanwhile, is a nuanced portrayal of a duplicitous, authoritarian figure, adding depth to the episode’s otherwise formulaic structure. However, these performances are not enough to salvage the episode’s central conflict, which is undermined by its anthropocentric focus. Four of the eight participants in the fight are human, a choice that feels at odds with Star Trek’s broader themes of exploring non-human life and the limits of human morality.

The episode’s portrayal of Kahless, Surak, and Green also reflects the biases of its time. Kahless is depicted as a villain, a role that aligns with the TOS era’s anti-Klingon sentiment, but his character is largely expendable, much like Zora or Genghis Khan. The latter’s portrayal as a genocidal icon is a problematic one, and it would not resonate with Trek fans in Mongolia. Similarly, Surak, a Vulcan spiritual leader, is given a role that is more symbolic than meaningful.

Nevertheless, The Savage Curtain is significant in that it introduces these characters into Star Trek canon, even if their portrayals are not entirely accurate. Kahless, Surak, and Green would later be reinterpreted in later series, with Kahless, for example, becoming a more sympathetic figure in The Next Generation and beyond. This suggests that the episode, despite its flaws, was a step in the right direction, laying the groundwork for a more nuanced exploration of these characters in the future.

The Savage Curtain is a mixed bag. While it is not a standout episode of TOS, it is a reminder that even the show’s final episodes had moments of merit. Its blend of historical references, flawed characters, and underdeveloped stakes reflects the challenges of creating a sci-fi series in the 1960s, when the balance between entertainment and philosophical depth was often uneven. Yet, for all its shortcomings, the episode is a curious artifact of Star Trek’s evolution, a testament to the show’s ability to push boundaries even as it faltered under the weight of its own limitations.

Notre petit papy est très calme attend la retraite avec impatience , sa femme et ses enfant bien que vivant sous le même toit ne le regarde pas , il fait même chambre a part , dès les premières minutes il apprend qui l'as un cancer et qui lui reste 3 mois , ne préfère rien dire a son entourage qui de toute façon ne lui parle pas et le rabaisse .

Il décide de prendre son chien le seul qui lui es fidèle , et d'aller faire un tour dans un grand parc de nuit , dans ce parc ce trouve aussi le lycéen .

Tous deux ce fond percuté par un OVNI ( UFO ) ? on c'est pas trop qui les tue sur le coup .

Nous entendons juste un alien , entité , autres , on ne les vois pas ( tous comme on ne vois pas le OVNI ( UFO ) , dire mince on as tués deux créature organique intelligente de cette planète rendons leurs la vie et barrons nous vite .

Les deux ce réveille alors intact , mais bien qu'il soit toujours ""eux même"" , il son transformer en robot indestructible , blindé d'arme de destruction apparemment a air comprimer vue que jamais de balle retrouver , la capacité de tuer en masse ou de raser toutes forme de vie , un ordinateur relier a tous appareil + un méga IA a la place du cerveaux , le pouvoir de voler , mais aussi le pouvoir de soigner toutes blessure , toute maladie , et même la mort .

Le lycéen lui deviens tueur de masse et tue tellement de gens par jour pour torturer s'amuser et parfois V... que ce n'est pas la police qui le traque mais les armées , tandis que le vieux plus discret s'introduit dans des hôpitaux pour soigner des gens et partir discrètement ainsi que soigner les victime du lycéen ., et tue parfois des clan mafieux entier mais jamais d'innocent

Le peuple ayant a un moment ( très vite ) connaissance de l'un qu'il appelle un dieux destructeur et l'autre qu'il appelle le dieux de a vie par ses miracle , ce retrouve donc a ce pourchassé l'un l'autre pour un duel ou l'un devra tuer l'autre pour que son idéologie gagne .

Il ont réussie a crée un mélange de drame avec le jeune qui est impulsif apprend très vite ses capacités bien qu'il tue il soigne parfois aussi des gens qu'il apprécie , à l'inverse de l'ancien pour qui passer un coup de téléphone avec un portable et déjà un défis .

bien qu'à chacune de leurs rencontre il y'as un combat , les deux ne peuvent ce résoudre de tuer l'autres .

Très sombre du côté du jeune , très drôle du côté de l'anciens .

Il y 'as un manga papier qui n'as pas été traduit , et apparemment un film live qu'on as pas trouver en français ou anglais , ni même avec des sous titre .

Esta película nominada los premios Oscar la verdad es que le había dado muchas vueltas para verla ya que Últimamente siento que hay muchas películas que son más prepositivas que películas como medio de arte en realidad, la verdad es que esta película de animación es una grata sorpresa de ver es sumamente Increíble como sin ningún diálogo tú llegues a interpretar cada cosa que está pasando y como la misma se encarga de comunicar Cómo funcionan las relaciones humanas en este caso Son animales antropomorfos pero aún así queda evidentemente claro De qué trata.

La película tiene un soundtrack maravilloso con el cual conectas rápidamente y cada canción Cada Sonido La verdad es que concuerda con todo lo que van construyendo los personajes y como los mismos buscan de relacionarse entre ellos mismos para después intentar relacionarse con otras personas para seguir adelante sin exponer nada la película porque me gustaría que le den una oportunidad para verla debo decir que es maravillosa es muy bonita si ve la animación no es algo del otro mundo la verdad se podrá comparar incluso con algunas series de televisión debo decir que el guión si es Algo extraordinario.

Es una de esas películas que te hace apreciar las pocas relaciones que puedes tener en la vida adulta pero te hace notar que aunque sean pocas son realmente importantes es una de esas películas que de repente puedes llegar a pasar por alto porque no terminas de entender del todo su premisa pero la verdad es que no es que la vez conectas rápidamente con ella es súper sencilla de ver y a la vez puedo decir que es algo entretenida Pues la verdad es que las canciones hacen que toda la comunicación entre los personajes sea bastante Clara y sí la película no tiene ningún tipo de diálogo pero les aseguro que fácilmente entendible, es una de esas joyas animadas que si no te recomiendan verla la verdad dudo que le dieras una oportunidad pero yo sí puedo decir que si tuviera que ponerle un puntaje le daría un 10 de 10.

Absolution es una película con Liam Neeson que salió hace poco bueno fue a finales del año pasado pero como el tiempo pasa tan rápido digo hace poco jaja, la verdad yo no sabía ni que existía hasta que me topé con ella por casualidad, pero no es tan buena como me hubiese gustado, por un lado tiene cosas buenas pero por el otro me pareció que se queda corta en muchos aspectos. Está dirigida por Hans Petter Moland y es una historia sobre un gangster viejo que está perdiendo la memoria y trata de arreglar las cosas con su familia antes de que sea demasiado tarde, suena interesante pero tiene mucha mezcla de géneros, es como un drama familiar y a la vez un thriller criminal, una historia de redención y hasta tiene acción. Lo que más me llamó la atención es que el personaje de Neeson se llama Thug eso significa matón o criminal lo que encaja bastante bien con su rol del pasado.

La historia es sobre este tipo que trabaja para Ron Perlman en una organización criminal que parece ser súper genérica, solo son tres personas trabajando en la parte de atrás de una tienda de muebles y se dedican a traficar mujeres y oxicodona. Neeson descubre que tiene CTE, esa condición que sufren los boxeadores y jugadores de fútbol americano por tantos golpes en la cabeza y el doctor le dice que tiene pocos años antes de quedar completamente incapacitado, esto lo motiva a tratar de reconciliarse con sus hijos, pero resulta que uno de ellos ya murió hace años y él ni siquiera lo sabía porque estaba completamente desconectado de su familia. Su hija Daisy obviamente no quiere saber nada de él y le dice que no vaya a su casa, pero él va de todas formas porque es de esos personajes que siempre hacen todo mal. También conoce a una mujer en un bar después de defenderla de su novio abusivo y comienzan una relación que es probablemente lo mejor de toda la película. Awqui lo que no me gustó es que hay demasiadas subtramas pasando al mismo tiempo, está el tema de la memoria que se deteriora, la reconciliación familiar, la nueva relación amorosa y encima de todo eso hay una historia sobre rescatar a una mujer joven del tráfico sexual que la verdad para mí es algo fuera de lugar y forzado.

Esta película pudo haber sido buena, por lo menos las escenas entre Neeson y Yolanda Ross que tienen química se ven reales, pero se va por las ramas con todas estas otras historias que no están bien desarrolladas y hay personajes que están como de sobra, como Ron Perlman no tiene nada que hacer en la película más que ser el jefe malo y cuando Neeson finalmente lo mata junto con su hijo es más como algo que tenía que pasar para avanzar la trama que algo que le de sentido a la historia, la parte visual no es muy buena se ve como una pelicula barata y hay algunas escenas con CGI que son terribles, una donde Neeson está peleando con unos tipos en el centro de Boston que se ve bien falsa. Además hay cosas que no tienen mucho sentido como que Neeson le pregunta a un doctor corrupto sobre sus problemas de memoria cuando obviamente no debería confiar en ese tipo, o las mujeres traficadas que están sueltas en la parte de atrás de un camión de mudanzas rodando por todos lados esto hace que no se vea muy natural sino planeado.

A pesar de todo esto hay cosas que me gustaron como la actuación de Neeson y Yolanda Ross aunque su personajke tampoco tiene nombre y aparece en los créditos como woman. La película también toca temas interesantes sobre el envejecimiento, la demencia y tratar de hacer las cosas bien cuando ya es demasiado tarde au8nque no profundicen mucho sobre esto. Hay una escena donde Neeson está en el baño tratando de recordar el nombre de su hijo muerto y empieza a golpear la pared hasta que le sangran los nudillos, me gustó porque muestra la frustración y el dolor del personaje de una manera visceral, aunque son muy pocas las escenas que logran este nivel emocional. El final también es como acelerado, liberan a todas las mujeres traficadas y matan a los malos y Neeson va a despedirse de su nieto y luego se va a morir a su lugar favorito mirando la bahía, pasa porque la película necesita terminar de alguna manera pero me quedé como que si faltaba algo.

Yo no le doy más de 5.5/10 a esta peli porque hay demasiadas cosas pasando al mismo tiempo y ninguna está realmente bien desarrollada, es como si hubieran tomado tres o cuatro ideas diferentes para películas y las hubieran mezclado sin pensar si funcionaban juntas. Neeson y Yolanda lo hacen bien pero no es suficiente para salvar una película tan equis, para mí la dirección es mediocre y tiene muchos espacios vacíos, no es una de esas películas que destaque. Decidí verla porque aparecía Neeson pero sinceramente preferiría ver otra vez Taken donde Neeson era una pesadilla para los secuestradores, la verdad no la recomiendo puedes invertir mejor tu tiempo viendo cualquier otra cosa.

Absolution is a movie with Liam Neeson that came out recently, well it was at the end of last year but as time goes by so fast I say recently haha, the truth is I didn't even know it existed until I stumbled upon it by chance, but it is not as good as I would have liked, on one hand it has good things but on the other hand I thought it falls short in many aspects. It's directed by Hans Petter Moland and it's a story about an old gangster who is losing his memory and tries to fix things with his family before it's too late, it sounds interesting but it has a lot of genre mixing, it's like a family drama and at the same time a crime thriller, a redemption story and it even has action. What caught my attention the most is that Neeson's character is named Thug which means thug or criminal which fits quite well with his past role.

The story is about this guy who works for Ron Perlman in a criminal organization that seems to be super generic, it's just three people working out of the back of a furniture store and they deal in women and oxycodone. Neeson discovers he has CTE, that condition that boxers and soccer players suffer from so many blows to the head and the doctor tells him he has a few years before he is completely incapacitated, this motivates him to try to reconcile with his children, but it turns out that one of them already died years ago and he didn't even know it because he was completely disconnected from his family. His daughter Daisy obviously wants nothing to do with him and tells him not to go to her house, but he goes anyway because he is one of those characters who always does everything wrong. He also meets a woman in a bar after defending her from her abusive boyfriend and they start a relationship which is probably the best thing about the whole movie. Awqui what I didn't like is that there are too many subplots going on at the same time, there is the issue of the deteriorating memory, the family reconciliation, the new love relationship and on top of all that there is a story about rescuing a young woman from sex trafficking which to me is a bit out of place and forced.

This movie could have been good, at least the scenes between Neeson and Yolanda Ross that have chemistry look real, but it goes off the deep end with all these other stories that are not well developed and there are characters that are kind of left over, like Ron Perlman has nothing to do in the movie but be the bad boss and when Neeson finally kills him and his son it's more like something that had to happen to advance the plot than something that makes sense to the story, the visuals are not very good it looks like a cheap movie and there are some CGI scenes that are terrible, one where Neeson is fighting with some guys in downtown Boston that looks really fake. Also there are things that don't make much sense like Neeson asking a corrupt doctor about his memory problems when he obviously shouldn't trust that guy, or the trafficked women who are loose in the back of a moving truck rolling all over the place this makes it look not very natural but planned.

Despite all this there are things I liked such as Neeson's performance and Yolanda Ross even though her character is also unnamed and appears in the credits as a woman. The movie also touches on interesting themes about aging, dementia and trying to make things right when it's too late even though they don't go too deep into it. There is a scene where Neeson is in the bathroom trying to remember the name of his dead son and starts banging on the wall until his knuckles bleed, I liked it because it shows the character's frustration and pain in a visceral way, although there are very few scenes that achieve this emotional level. The ending is also kind of rushed, they release all the trafficked women and kill the bad guys and Neeson goes to say goodbye to his grandson and then goes to die at his favorite place overlooking the bay, it happens because the movie needs to end somehow but I was left feeling like something was missing.

I don't give this movie more than a 5.5/10 because there are too many things going on at the same time and none of them are really well developed, it's like they took three or four different movie ideas and mixed them together without thinking if they worked together. Neeson and Yolanda do well but it's not enough to save such an uneven movie, for me the direction is mediocre and it has a lot of empty spaces, it's not one of those movies that stands out. I decided to watch it because Neeson was in it but honestly I would rather watch Taken again where Neeson was a nightmare for the kidnappers, I really don't recommend it, you can spend your time watching something else.
