[Movie] Blades of the Guardians (2026) – the movie that reminded me why I love sword fights.
I’m not easily impressed by action movies. In general, in recent years, most of these productions have been made on a conveyor belt. Image Source TMDB Blades of the Guardians (2026) But Blades of the Guardians grabbed m…

[Movie] Your Body, Someone Else's Rules - Why "Upgrade" (2018) Is an Absolutely Brilliant Sci-Fi Nightmare

Most modern sci fi films waste dozens of minutes trying to explain how their world works, give you tedious philosophical speeches, and bore you with artificial atmosphere before anything interesting happens. Image Sourc…

[TV] Cashero: When Superpowers Leave You Broke and Heroism is Just Another Bill to Pay

When the superhero cape costs you your last penny. Let me be completely honest with you: this South Korean show dropped in 2025, and I actively dodged it for the longest time. The title just sounded a bit off to me, and…

[Movie] Universal Soldier – a concept that exploded in the 90s and still deserves to be reinvented

Universal Soldier was, for its time, a mind blowing movie. I first saw it on videotape as a child, and back then it seemed like a sci fi powerhouse: brutal, stylized, with a concept that pushed the imagination forward.…

[Movie] A Working Man (2025) — Mob, Kidnapping, Action… and Nothing Surprising

Jason Statham is an actor you recognize the moment he appears on screen. He doesn't need long introductions or complicated explanations for the characters he plays. He steps into the scene, gives a specific glare, stays…

[TV] Gen V (2023) – The Show That Makes You Wonder What Was Going Through the Writers' Minds

I haven't even finished the season yet. I'm only on episode 5. But I think that's more than enough to state one thing clearly: Gen V is the most sadistic superhero show I've ever seen. And when I say "sadistic," I don't…

[Movie] The One (2001) – possibly the movie that invented the multiverse before Hollywood made it a trend.

The other day, an old movie came to my mind. The One. It came out in 2001 and stars Jet Li. Actually, Jet Li fighting another Jet Li. It’s the kind of movie you probably caught flipping through the TV on a weekend night…

[Movie] Rebel Moon: Why it's worth giving it a chance on Netflix (without critic's spells)

Rebel Moon: Why it's worth giving it a chance on Netflix (without critic's spells) I started playing Rebel Moon without looking for analyses, reviews or critical opinions. I just wanted a sci fi that would keep me hooke…
