Nirmal Purja is a Nepalese military and mountaineer who came up with the idea of climbing the 14 highest mountains in the world in record time, he is a person trained physically and intellectually to get out of his comfort zone and with his goal in mind he went in search of sponsors to realize his dream, but after everyone told him that it was something impossible to achieve he decided to baptize his passion with the name of PROJECT POSSIBLE because for him nothing was impossible, he is a military man who has the preparation of special forces and never gives up. He did not get the sponsorship he needed and had to mortgage his house.
Project Possible is a documentary of all the expeditions that Nirmal Purja did in the mountains and his experience before and during the mission. To achieve it, he had to work many months before in physical and mental preparation, not everyone can climb more than 8000 meters high with a very heavy backpack, with tents, ropes, oxygen tanks, and food.

Nirmal Purja es un militar y alpinista nepalí que se le ocurrió la idea de escalar las 14 montañas mal altas en mundo en tiempo récord, él es una persona entrenada física e intelectualmente para salir de su zona de confort y con su objetivo en mente salió a la búsqueda de patrocinadores para materializar su sueño, pero luego que todos le dijeran que era algo imposible de alcanzar decidió bautizar su pasión con el nombre de PROYECTO POSIBLE porque para él nada era imposible, es un militar que tiene la preparación de fuerzas especiales y que nunca se rinde. No consiguió el patrocinio que necesitaba teniendo que hipotecar su casa.
Proyecto posible es un documental de todas las expediciones que hizo Nirmal Purja en las montañas y su experiencia antes y durante la misión. Para lograrlo tuvo que esforzarse muchos meses antes en preparación física y mental, no todo el mundo puede subir más de 8000 metros de altura con una mochila muy pesada, con carpas, cuerdas, tanques de oxígeno, y comida.

The peaks of more than 8,000 meters are called the death zone because there you breathe a third of the oxygen that is breathed at sea level and if you climb with oxygen tanks you run the risk of running out and your body faces an environment to which it is not adapted or prepared. This group of project mountaineers took the risk of climbing the first 8,000 meters without oxygen and from there the highest peaks that exceed even 600 meters more, doing it with an oxygen tank.
Climbing the 14 highest mountains in the world has been done by several people, even without the use of oxygen tanks, but it has taken up to 7 years to achieve it, instead, what makes the feat of project possible special is that this group of climbers made it in just 6 months and all survived thanks to the indications and preparation of the leader Nirmal Purja.
Nirmal Purja es el líder de un grupo de 5 hombres que hacen cumbre con él. En un momento muy difícil les dijo que esa había sido su idea y que si sentían que iban a morir podían dejar de seguirlo, ninguno se desmotivó. A cada paso se cuestionaba si estaba haciendo lo correcto porque cualquier movimiento erróneo morirían, en el alpinismo la concentración es fundamental.
Se requieren muchas horas para hacer cumbre en esas montañas, en una de las montañas empezaron a subir a las 9 de la noche y llegaron a las 6 de la tarde del siguiente día, más de 21 horas escalando sin descanso. Pero estas personas estaban preparadas para eso, la preparación física va de la mano con la mental, Nirmal Purja se despertaba a las 2 de la mañana y se iba a correr 20 kilómetros con 35 kilos en la espalda, 10 horas de ejercicio físico seguido por 7 meses.
Quien llevo a cabo este proyecto no es un hombre común, parece un superhéroe, alguien que puede desafiar todas las pruebas del mundo, militar entrenado que tuvo experiencia en varios países, y que puede volar en paracaídas, nadar largar distancia, correr kilómetros con peso en su cuerpo, y con una capacidad pulmonar que ha ido desarrollando increíble.
Los picos de más de 8 mil metros, se les llama la zona de la muerte porque allí se respira un terció del oxígeno que se respira a nivel del mar y si escalas con tanques de oxígeno corres el peligro que se acabe y tu cuerpo se enfrente a un entorno del cual no está adaptado ni preparado. Este grupo de alpinista de proyecto posible asumió el riesgo de escalar los primeros 8 mil metros sin oxígeno y de allí los picos más altos que superan incluso 600 metros más, hacerlo con tanque de oxígeno.
Escalar las 14 montañas más altas del mundo lo han hecho varias personas, incluso sin el uso de tanques de oxígeno, pero se han tardado hasta 7 años en lograrlo, en cambio, lo que hace especial la hazaña de proyecto posible es que este grupo de alpinistas los hicieron en tan solo 6 meses y todos sobrevivieron gracias a las indicaciones y preparación del líder Nirmal Purja

There are events so interesting that I am not going to spoil you have to watch the documentary to live the same amazement that I lived. Nirmal Purja wanted to show the world what a human can do if he sets his mind to it, for me this man is the new real life superhero, my Superman, I did not know him, I did not know about these mountains, the only one I have always heard about is Mount Everest, much less I knew about the possible project.

In Nepali culture one gives, so asking for money to sponsor the project was one of the hardest things I have ever done.
It doesn't matter if you are weak or strong, black or white, the only rule is that if you give up you die.
The whole documentary is so well designed, with clear images that I came to doubt that it was a documentary and thought they were actors narrating an event, after watching it and googling the name of the protagonist I was convinced that what I saw was real, very good.
They made the impossible possible, conquering the 14 highest peaks in the world in six months was a new world record, the last time they accomplished this feat, it took them 7 years to complete it, I recommend this inspiring documentary because it changes the perception we have of the world and what we must do to achieve what we want in life, it is a real example of perseverance, preparation, effort, motivation, determination, strength, conviction, hope and faith.

Hay eventos tan interesantes que no voy a spoilear tienes que ver el documental para que vivas el mismo asombro que yo viví. Nirmal Purja quería mostrarle al mundo lo que un humano puede hacer si se lo propone, para mí este hombre es el nuevo superhéroe de la vida real, mi Superman, no lo conocía, no sabía de estas montañas, de la única que siempre he odio hablar es del Monte Everest, mucho menos conocía el proyecto posible.
Citaré unas de las frases que me parecen agregan valor al documental
En la cultura nepalí uno da, así que pedir dinero para patrocinar el proyecto fue una de las cosas más difíciles que he hecho.
No importa si eres débil o fuerte, blanco o negro, la única regla es que si te rindes mueres.
Todo el documental está tan bien diseñado, con imágenes nítidas que llegue a dudar que era un documental y pensé que eran actores narrando un suceso, luego de verla y googlear el nombre del protagonista me convencí de que lo que mire era real, muy buena.
Hicieron posible lo imposible, conquistar las 14 cumbres más altas del mundo en seis meses era un nuevo récord mundial, la última vez que realizaron esta hazaña, tardado 7 años en completarla, recomiendo este documental tan inspirador porque cambia la percepción que tenemos del mundo y lo que debemos hacer para alcanzar lo queremos en la vida, es un ejemplo real de perseverancia, preparación, esfuerzo, motivación, firmeza, fuerza, convicción, esperanza y fe.
