No soy fan ni del manga ni el anime, y no es porque no me guste, si no porque nunca he dedicado tiempo a explorar este maravilloso y amplio mundo que yo considero un arte de la animación. Las únicas series que he podido ver hasta los momentos incluyen a Inuyasha, Pokemon, Seilor Moon, Candy Candy, y Heidi. Pero hace poco me entere de una película animada japonesa ganadora de un Oscar, algo que indudablemente merecía la pena ver, pero antes de saber esto estuve escuchando por mucho tiempo sobre un famoso personaje llamado Chihiro de la cual vengo hablar hoy y por eso me anime a ver su película EL VIAJE DE CHIHIRO, lo que me causo mucha curiosidad era saber porque a las personas le gustaba tanto esta historia, algo que hoy podrán descubrir junto conmigo por si no desean ver la película completa aunque se las recomiendo si quieren ver algo diferente.

Sinopsis/Synopsis
Chihiro es una niña que junto a sus padres se mudan a un nuevo lugar, y camino a este nuevo hogar toman un atajo el cual los termina llevando a un mundo paralelo lleno de espíritus del cual Chihiro debe escapar junto a sus padres sana y salva.

Cuando decidí ver la película no sabia que esperar, sabia que era muy famosa porque había visto un personaje de la película en diferentes productos de mercadeo, incluso me pasaron un video con un resumen de toda la historia pero no quise verla para no arruinar la trama ya que había decidido verla por completo para tener mi propia opinión de la película porque me encanta poder tener argumentos y conocer de todo un poco a la hora de conversar con personas amantes de este genero. Sin duda puedo decir que supero mis expectativas de muchas formas.
When I decided to see the movie I didn't know what to expect, I knew it was very famous because I had seen a character from the movie in different marketing products, they even gave me a video with a summary of the whole story but I didn't want to see it so as not to ruin the plot since I had decided to see it completely to have my own opinion of the film because I love being able to have arguments and know a little about everything when talking with people who love this genre. I can certainly say that it exceeded my expectations in many ways.

Su creador Miyazaki posee una increíble creatividad al crear un cuento tan original que esta lleno de muchos detalles y escenarios tan bien hechos como la variedad de personajes dentro de la trama, la historia tiene un mensaje que funciona como critica social y se adapta muy bien a la sociedad actual del consumismo y a la constante necesidad egoísta de satisfacer nuestras necesidades sin pensar en los demás, esto se refleja en la escena donde los padres de Chihiro son convertidos en cerdos tras haberse comido lo que seria la comida para recibir los invitados misteriosos de aquel lugar.

En cuanto a la trama si no conoces de que trata la historia como me paso a mi te sentirás un poco perdido al inicio, Chihiro trata de sobrevivir con la ayuda de Hoku un niño con aspecto humano que vive en este lugar que no acepta a humanos, Chihiro vive constantemente aterrada al verse rodeada de seres extravagantes y tan espeluznantes que pensarías que te comerían de un solo bocado por el enorme tamaño que poseen, y tendrá que convencer a la bruja Yubaba que le de un trabajo en este lugar para que ella no termine convertida en Cerdo ya que la persona que no trabaja termina convirtiéndose en alimento para los espíritus.

A chihiro le tocará hacer cosas que jamás había hecho, pasa de ser una niña asustadiza a lograr cosas que nunca se hubiera imaginado, como bañar por si sola a una pestilente entidad que esta llena de barro y lodo, demostrará lo valioso de tener un buen corazón, la importancia de la generosidad, sin importar que deba dar a otros lo único que ayudaría a sus padres a volver a la normalidad, todo por el bien de otras personas como por ejemplo su amigo Haku o el ser sin rostro, además de demostrar el poco interés que tenia en el oro que le ofreció uno de los espíritus y el cual volvió locos a todos los trabajadores de la casa de baños incluyendo a Yubaba. Aquí podemos ver el desarrollo que tiene el personaje de Chihiro y como a medida que avanza la trama ella va creciendo dentro de la historia.

Y luego de investigar un poco me sorprendió enterarme que fue una de las animaciones más taquilleras de la época, siendo hasta su momento la única película animada dibujada a mano y ganadora de un merecido Oscar, lo que sin duda le abrió la puerta hace 20 años al mundo del anime a nivel internacional. Es una película que llama tanto la atención que hasta mi hija de cuatro años la termino viendo conmigo pues quedo impresionada por cada uno de los personajes de la historia.
