I'm currently finishing watching the eighth, which has been very emotional, especially in the last episodes, where this group loses a member of their team, their leader.
This season has 18 episodes, and as always, in each one we'll see a different story, new characters who find themselves in extreme situations, and this team of firefighters will be seen in their work, trying to save them. However, like any extreme rescue job, there are always risks—of dying, of losing a team member, and even not being able to save the life they went to rescue.
Of course, this reminds me of what happened in my country, the recent earthquake, and I think about the rescue teams, the work and effort they did and continue to do to save and find people under the rubble. From out here, it looks easy, but watching this series gives me an idea of how dangerous it is, removing the debris, how unstable the buildings are, and that at any moment they could collapse while people are inside.
But the hardest part is losing someone during the rescue, all that pressure, that failed attempt, it's not easy. Honestly, the work this group of firefighters and rescuers does is admirable. We can't judge or criticize without knowing exactly what it takes to go to a place where a disaster has occurred, dealing with all that adrenaline, the chaos, and the desperation of people who want to be rescued.
It's a series that shows us this whole side, the hard work that firefighters, paramedics, and qualified personnel do to carry out this kind of rescue. For those who enjoy this type of series or stories, you will surely like it.

Hace un tiempo empecé a ver esta serie, 911 se titula, pero la había dejado, ahora recientemente decidí retomarla, y es que tiene varias temporadas ya, justamente estoy terminando de ver la Octava, la cual ha sido muy emotiva, sobre todo en los últimos episodios, donde este grupo pierde a un miembro de su equipo, su líder.
Esta temporada cuenta con 18 capítulos, y como siempre en cada uno veremos una historia diferente, personajes nuevos, que se encuentran en situaciones extremas, y este equipo de bomberos se vera en su labor, para salvarlos, sin embargo, como todo trabajo extremo de rescate, siempre hay riesgos, de morir, de perder a alguien del equipo e incluso no poder salvar la vida que fueron a rescatar.
Por supuesto esto me recuerda a lo que ocurrió en mi pais, el reciente terremoto, y pienso en los grupos de rescates, el trabajo, esfuerzo que hicieron y siguen haciendo para salvar y encontrar a las personas bajo los escombros, uno desde aquí afuera lo ve fácil, sin embargo, al ver esta serie, me hago una idea de lo peligroso que es, remover los escombros, lo inestable que están los edificios, y que en cualquier momento puede derrumbarse, estando ellos adentro.
Pero lo mas duro, es perder a alguien, en el rescate, toda esa presión, ese intento fallido, no es fácil, en realidad es admirable el trabajo que hace este grupo de bomberos, los rescatistas, no podemos juzgar ni criticar, sin saber con exactitud todo lo que implica acudir a un lugar donde ocurrió una catástrofe, lidiar con toda esa adrenalina, el movimiento y la desesperación de las personas que desean ser rescatadas.
Es una serie que nos muestra toda esta faceta, el trabajo arduo que realizan los bomberos, paramédicos, y personal calificado para realizar este tipo de rescates, para los que les gusta este tipo de series, de historias seguro les gustara.
